A well know place to eat in the area, it also is inexpensive considering the locality of the restaurant and the quality as well as quantity of the food.Service:We went in a group of ten so they quickly arranged a table even though we didnt reserve one. Their services are quick.What I ate:We ordered Idli Chilly, Veg Cutlet and Sev Puri as Starters to try everything out and it was tastyIn main course, we went with Paneer Makhanwala, Hara Bhara Kabab Masala and Veg Rangeela with Naan. All were good except Paneer Makhanwala didnt feel upto the mark.In rice, Hyderabadi biryani was also tasty.I have also tried Combination rice here and its yum.If you want just simple meal you couldnt go wrong with Veg Rangeela ( All veggies like beans, mushrooms, babycorns, carrots etc) with rotis and Fried Jeera Rice. The quantity is more than enough for two people.Overall a budget friendly place in Colaba with quick service and delicious food to grab a quick bite.

This is one place which is a supermarket and is super convenient! You will find multiple options here of what you are looking for.Caution: Not all brands are available here but other options for it are.Along with other products that all super markets commonly provide, you get vegetables and grains here. There is also a huge variety of dairy products and tea leaves. You also get cutlery and few kitchen utensils. Some fibre or plastic items are also available. There is also a small scale medical store inside here, with limited products though. For a person with a mid-budget brands (non luxury or non super costly) this is a superb place. I recommend it whole heartedly!

Yummy pav bhajji. Highly recommend the sahakari special pav bhajji. There are no restrooms. But there is one in ccd opposite to the restaurant.

Its extremely affordable. Offcourse its not like fancy restaurant but amazingly affordable. Things to eat in it are mughalai cuisine. Dint try Chinese but pav bhaji or tawa pulav is soo basic. Quality is good but taste wasnt that good. But chole or paneer bhaji was good. And tried idli are well which was again amazing.

Affordable pricing with good food.This is a simple restaurant not a fine dine one. Menu items are reasonably priced. Had pav bhaji, masala dosa and vada sambhar and all were good in taste and quality. The tea was also good. Overall I found this a good option to eat in the expensive neighborhood of Colaba.

We have just been to the Borivali-West store @ 3-00 pm, today only to find a queue of almost 25-30 people mostly senior citizens and ladies all standing in the blistering sun, waiting for their turn to get in and buy stuff that they need as the entry to the store was temporarily barricaded by the staff and they sat chit chatting inside the store and upon asking them to let people enter one so called Supervisor screamed that we operate from 10-00 am to 5-00 pm with our lunch time from 2-00 pm to 3-30 pm so nobody gets in till our lunch time is over. Pathetic and we dont care behavior of the staff.....Incase anybody from Sahakari Bhandar authorities is reading this, kindly replace your staff with good people who at least have the manners to talk and help people in these stressful times rather than chit-chat for 1.5 hours claiming it to be lunch time...

They need to water proof the place . It was leaking water and the plastics on top didnt help .

This is my favorite place to eat in town. I have been eating here for years now. The food is amazing and its really inexpensive. You will see all kinds of people here from upper class to middle class to foreigners to Indians from different parts of the country. Lunch time is always crowded so make sure you visit a little early so get a place to sit & at times you also have to share the table but its all worth it. Do visit Sahkari Bhandar restaurant as its one of the best places to eat. And the best part is its very close to Gateway so if you are a tourist dont spend too much money on food rather go here and enjoy an amazing meal 😋

Experience was not so far good, you kept 2 que for the costumer, one for normal people another for police department. I observed this police people are entering without que, where as normal people are waiting in que to enter the Sahkari Bhandar for not less than one and half hour, that also in open area where temperature is around 35 to 37°C and more it is very shame on your Bhandar. Take in proper manner in que. For every one.

Refunds on difference in prices are refused, and forced to make alternate purchase. Bad business practice n , as two different prices displyed and customer made to pay at Check-out.
