The Wellington Fountain was erected to commemorate the visit of the Duke of Wellington to Bombay in 1865, was built in Neo-Classical style through public subscription. The two tiered, Octagonal basalt stone fountain was conceptualized by Lieutenant Colonel JJ Scott as the architect with General Augustus Fuller, Royal Engineers overseeing its construction.

Its good as per look, but the fountain is sometimes not operational. To have a good picture with fountain in the background you need to visit the place early in the morning, like before 7am.Then you can also get easy spots for parking your vehicle without getting fine for it.
