Love the process of learning in the 3-level course; it has given me a great foundation and confidence to go to castings/auditions. As an ex-student of the studio , I completely vouch for the place. This is the place that gave me the base, the push , the motivation to move forward. The teachers are great! The teachings are valuable, but the most important thing is that you meet so many people who are extremely passionate about what they do be it acting, directing or anything in the creative space that it keeps you on your toes and constantly gives you the will to keep working on yourself. I came to Mumbai with 4 years of Theatre Experience. As soon as i landed here i was looking for an Institution where i can Sharpen my Skills plus can stay in Practise with the Craft which Jeff Goldberg Studios provided me. With every weekend Practical Classes, i had an opportunity to be on stage 4 times every week apart from Theory Classes. One thing which i found here as an Actor is to live TRUTHFULLY between Action and Cut, which is very basic yet the most difficult for any Actor to achieve. The Studio is literally home to me. This place has influenced my life deeply and so positively over the past few years. Ive been to a few acting courses and found this to be one of the best ones in the country. GAME CHANGER! I joined Jeff Goldberg Studio about a year back, with an intention to educate myself in the acting department, but, from a filmmaker’s point of view. I am a professional writer/director, and it always helps to train oneself as an actor, so we communicate better to get the best outcome. Not only have these last seven months, at the studio, helped me understand the acting business, from a director’s POV but, it has, surprisingly, turned me into an able, method actor as well. Which for me was pretty far fetched, and I love it!! The course opens up a whole new dimension, it’s a completely different ball game. The classes at Jeff are very interactive and the faculty members encourage questions which help the knowledge of character building, the arch and identifying with truthful performances. Besides acting better, now I also write better.Jeff Goldberg, the coolest dean any institution can have, a walking talking encyclopedia, constantly encourages the students to research and educate themselves, to be more curious. Making us more sensitive and well aware of the world that we live in and to channel that energy through what we do on stage. Not to mention my massive improvement in my storytelling and screenplay writing since I joined here. After JG, one can really learn how to tackle, rather sensitive and sometimes controversial subjects with great easy whilst hitting just the right spots.No matter what happens in the future, as that depends on an individual’s hard work and efforts, The Jeff Goldberg studio opens up ones mind, not only towards the craft but also our perspective on things that we see on a daily bases. Been with the studio for over a year now and its been one of my best years in terms of learning the art and applying the craft of acting. Also a cozy and enjoyable place with an excellent vibe to it.

I trained at the studio for a year and I was part of the 3rd batch.Jeff always treated us like family. He’s more than a teacher he’s a friend for life and he’s been great guide through my acting career.It’s been 4 years since I’ve been done with my course and I still go back to class. I think that speaks for itself.It opened me up as an actor. One of the best method acting schools more than a school its one big family . The faculty members are so helpful so knowledgeable and the only aim of the studio is you get work and keep working . I am and always will be a student of the studio. Although I have graduated, I’ve always found the time and the motivation to go back to brush my skills up. I’ve also had the fortune of doing professional theatre productions with the studio. I knew nothing about acting when I joined the studio, however today I am a confident actor both on stage, as well as camera! The studio engrains a strong foundation. It is the best place for method acting in Mumbai city and the quality of the faculty is just FAB. I loved how the programme was designed with a mix of theory and practical application of the skills learnt. The syllabus/class is well planned and spaced which gives the actors enough time to attend class as well as focus on auditions and shoots outside.The place is warm and welcoming and just feels like my second home. It’s literally my Go To place!! However, that being said it’s also a place that focuses very much on discipline and quality of work.The best part is once a student enrols for the course he /she can always go back and attend it a million times. This really helps to brush skills up even once graduated! The studio provides the best facilities to grow as an actor in terms of shooting scenes/monologues, working in the production team or being a part of play.I have a great time working here and owe every bit of my acting skills or talent to the studio.Thank you Jeff, the faculty and the studio for always giving us the best and providing several opportunities.❤️

Great plays. Cramped theatre with no signboard outside the building! Difficult to find despite being right on the road.

Went here for the Stand up comedy open mic. Seats may be 30 people tops. Small Cosy and personal.

Great place for stage events. Does not serve food, which is better to remain focused on whats going on.
