Right Start Academy is a hidden gem that were so happy to have discovered. Our children started six months ago at the age of two and it seems theyve been attending for much longer as weve noticed the quick adaptation and progression. Children are challenged with nightly homework even at three, which is optional at that age and we take full advantage of. We truly appreciate the academic, emotional, physical and life skill programs offered for child development. It gives us great peace of mind knowing that our children are in good hands and feel comfortable with such personable staff.....our children never want to leave at pick up. As parents, we are very appreciative for the level of communication, transparency and follow-up received from the owner, front office staff and teachers alike.

Its funny we were leaving another school found RSA through another parent who was planning to enroll their child, but never actually did. We enrolled in 2017, and 4 years later, our oldest has graduated and is flourishing in 1st grade, our middle child is about to graduate, and our youngest is about to re-enroll. This Academy was a great find, and a great fit for us.

Both of my kids enjoy their time at Right Start Academy. My daughter is progressing well with her ABCs among other things and following directions.My son was well prepared for K.

Outstanding facility with professional and responsive staff. My children have absolutely loved the center and immediately became attached to their teachers after having to separate from a center they were attending for years. The curriculum really pushes my children to achieve and grow. With the fun that has been 2020, weve also found some peace of mind from a safety perspective at RSA. The staff has been transparent and proactive, and through several management decisions through the year proven that they are truly dedicated to maintaining a fun, educational, and above all else safe environment for our children to attend. Definitely one of our best choices in 2020 and would highly recommend RSA to any family looking for quality child care.

Overall, very happy with the school, they do an excellent job and I would recommend them highly. I can definitely tell they are prepping for Kindergarten.

We love love love the curriculum and the individual attention given to each student at RSA. The teachers and staff are so friendly. My son is flourishing and will be more than ready for Kindergarten!

Right Start Academy is a great program with amazing staff and great leadership. Our oldest child started attending RSA in 2012 and we now have a 2nd child enrolled in the program. They are so organized and they have a heart to serve kids and families. You can feel the love when you walk in the building. I highly recommend RSA to any family in need of childcare and they are looking for a great school to prepare your children for grade school!

I cannot say enough about RSA. We started our relationship with the school in 2017 and it has truly been the best fit for our family. We have 3 children and our oldest started there when he was 3, and is now thriving in 1st grade. Our second child will graduate from RSA June of this year, and when our youngest became of age, we didnt hesitate to enroll her as well. From the teaching, to the geniune care they provide to their students, RSA is a truly a great preschool for children!

I am grateful everyday that I found Right Start Academy. They have wonderful teachers and staff. I have 2 kids there and they both absolutely love it. As a mom, it is comforting knowing my kids are learning, having fun and are surrounded by loving people. Wonderful!

Love this school. The teachers are so compassionate and loving. The administration is incredibly organized (which I LOVE as a working parent). I really like all the extras you get- Parents Night Out, Field Trips, Moon Bounce Days, Holiday Parties, ect. They have mastered the real feel of what Preschool should be!

I can’t say enough good things about this school. They pay attention to your child’s developmental needs and provide the needed support. I have 2 kids here and my first was very behind academically when he first started but now doing great! Thank you Right Start Academy!

My daughter started attending Right Start September 2016, and I must say I’m very happy with this preschool. The teachers and staff are friendly and caring. Communication is great. My daughter’s teachers provide feedback every day. In addition, we receive newsletters and email updates consistently. One thing I love is how they maintain accountability of the students. They always make sure all kids are present before they leave any room. The school also has secure access, with both me and my husband having our own code. This helps the staff maintain accountability of which adults enter the building.My daughter attended another daycare before Right Start and I was afraid she would suffer from separation anxiety, but she has yet to experience any. She loves her class and her teacher, Ms. Crystal and Ms. Lauren. It is outside my commute, but the drive is worth it. I know she will receive quality education. My only wish is that they accepted infants and toddlers.

My family and my 3 year old daughter absolutely love Right Start Academy. First, they have an excellent curriculum & super friendly teachers. My daughter talks about her teachers all the time, they even often attend the students birthday parties outside of school hours when invited. I personally feel they have a great balance between fun and educational activities to keep the kids constantly engaged. I was very nervous leaving my child with someone other than family for the first time, but they have cameras that allow you to monitor your child during the day which eased my fears, so that much that I dont really even look at the cameras anymore. I know for sure shes in good hands.Next, I absolutely love that its catered for breakfast lunch and snacks, we love not having to worry about packing a lunch or making sure shes eating something healthy and balanced. They also allow you to monitor your child potty breaks, eating and behavior through an App on your phone called BrightView - they even post pictures throughout the day sometimes so you can see how your child is doing or how they are enjoying a special event. Speaking of special events, they do monthly field trips, special events like Parents Night Out, parent involved events like donuts with dad or muffins with mom breakfast dates.My daughter loves her school and my husband and I love it as well. My pregnant sister is already talking about sending her child once she turns two!

Right Start Academy is an amazing place. Our 4yr old son and 5yr old daughter absolutely love this school. We had them at another school that went through some management/staffing issues and my wife was very concerned until we found this treasure. I cant say how secure i feel knowing my kids are being cared for and not just being housed daily. When looking for a preschool/daycare there are so many concerns as a parent. They have exceeded our expectations every step of the way. I dont worry about my kids while they are in the care of Right Starts professional staff. I havent ever felt like my childs needs were not being addressed and i think for every parent that is the single most important fact. Also another thing they have field trips almost monthly which our kids love.

We have had our Son at Right Start since August of 2013, prior to that we had him in home care. Well let me tell you we have seen a major difference with his interactions with adults, his skills. Honestly, he does his homework all by himself with just a little bit of mommy reading instructions. Ms. Heather, Ms Lauren and Ms Brittney have all been a god sent for our sons start of his education. In the afternoons he is with Ms. Emily and Ms. Brittney, there are days we can not get him to go home, he loves it that much. Also the school offers Parents night out which is just wonderful, the children get to play together and watch a movie and eat pizza with their favorite teachers. I am sad this will be our last year at Right Start Academy but it is an awesome start to our Sons educational career.

I am very happy with this pre school. They go above and beyond to work with parents and children. They are very communicative on their curriculum and send out great weekly email news letters. The entire facility has positive attitudes.

Wonderful school and fabulous teachers! I toured every school in the Gambrills/Crofton area before deciding to send my 2 year old to RSA. RSA strikes the perfect balance between a cozy, loving environment and a structured, educational curriculum. Our daughter has blossomed since attending RSA: her verbal communication and vocabulary has expanded, she now has a real love for learning, reading, singing and her emotional development is astounding. RSA teachers also teach the kids about communicating their emotions and coping mechanisms. Because the teachers also communicate so well with parents, its easy to put these lessons into place at home. Our daughters teachers, Ms. Mya, Ms. Courtney and Ms. Elizabeth are WONDERFUL - our daughter always looks forward to seeing them. If youre looking for a loving place to educate your toddler, Id highly recommend RSA!
