This is a very good public park. Nicely maintained by MCGM. nice landscaping and good seating arrangements and lots of viewing galleries for awesome views of Mumbai.

Nice location, kids and adults can enjoy. Check the timings before visiting, I think its closed in the afternoon and reopens at 4pm. Eacho point is also there so dont forget to try echoing funny sounds.

You can also go by taxi or cab.The park is neat and clean. There is no entry fee. The Queens necklace and the city is very panoromic from the garden end. You will surely pass a good time with your family/ friends.Due to covid the current timing of the park isMorning: 7am to 11amEvng: 4pm to 9pm.The same goes for hanging garden, which is located just opposite to the same road. If you go visit both. Both are free.One problem is you cant take any food inside. There is no cheap and good restaurent at just outside. But within 1km you will get that. Plan according to that.

Joota Ghar or Boot House or Mhataricha Boot or Kamala Nehru Park at Malabar Hill Mumbai many names but the experience is the same, whenever I visit Joota Ghar its like visiting my childhood days, I remember the first time I came here is with my school picnic and then with my family cousins and later in my life for shooting purpose, now I forgot how many times did I visit this place. During all my visits to Joota Ghar, I have seen its many colors changing from lite cream to Blue (Apirl 2019) some places are not just placed but they are a memory for life, I need to say if you are a tourist visiting Mumbai City so it is a must-visit to Joota Ghar for sure. I clearly remember, 23-24 years ago - my grandmother took my sibling and I to this park for the first time. The big park and mhataaricha boot left me in awe as a kid. Nothing looks the same today. Nice place for time pass.Well maintained greenery .Very nice view of sea from the park.There is separate area for children under 12 years of age. Many swings, slides and facilities for other activities are also there . Great for fun tour of school children.Many Snacks counter are also available outside the park.Though dedicated parking area is not there but one can park their vehicles on the roadside.If you are in Mumbai and wants to visit different places, dont keep this park in your priority list (as per me).

Kamala Nehru Park and hanging garden visit was disappointing but not surprising....as with most of other public amenities, this park also needs attention from the concerned dept. No dedicated kids play area, and no thought in providing community sit outs etc. The old womans shoe is the most visited attraction here, and is recently refurbished. Other than this there is nothing really to explore...may be 10 seconds view of Queens necklace is other attraction...but nothing much ! Very disappointing considering that it falls under the richest municipality in the country...and that too in a prime area like Malabar Hill !!

‘Kamala Nehru Park’ is a famous garden and a part of the Hanging Gardens located at the top of the Malabar Hill in South Mumbai; it is just opposite the Hanging gardens. It is also famous for its Shoe House (a grandmother shoe) which is a famous tourist attraction.We visited this garden during our family tour to Mumbai. Entrance to the garden is free. This garden itself has nothing spectacular but it offers beautiful views of ‘Queens Necklace’, Marine Drive and ‘Girgaon Chowpatty’ from the top; at night, the views are even better. It is a good place to visit with your friends and family; your children will also love the giant shoe.

Nice place. It is situated on top Malabar Hills, Mumbai in front of Hanging Garden. We may see Arabian Sea on back to it. Boot house is a matter of attraction for kids. I have seen such boot house in my childhood Madhubala and Kishor Kumar starring movie Half-ticket. Raj-mudra stambha is a stone replica of Ashok stambh, Delhi( National emblem) is a matter of attraction for me. It is popular picnic spot among Mumbakars of Teen Batti and Malabar Hills area. But garbage and disposals left by them make this place too much dirty.....💐
