Veg & Non-Veg both of the food standards and taste not at all exceptable.I gave more preference to the name thinking it will live up to its name but it was just waste of money, time and taste as well. Being a Foodie and visiting various places just to enjoy the food. This particular experience ranks in one of those visits which I would definitely not like to remember. My personal experience with my bunch of office colleagues has been horrible.

Have been visiting this restaurant for many years. Their food is very good and the ambience is decent - all at a reasonably affordable price. Their Saag Mutton and their Mutton Rogan Josh are both very good, as are their naans. Just hope that theyve been able to weather the Covid storm. I wish them well. Have many happy memories of satiated taste buds and full stomachs as far as this place is concerned.

Established in 1938, Sher-e-Punjab claims to be the oldest Punjabi restaurant in Mumbai, serving authentic food and doing wonderfuly well.Been coming here since 1978.. this area opp GPO used to be a hub for Punjabi food as this trio-Sher-e-Punjab, Neelam and Kalpana would be filled with office goers rubbing shoulders and sharing tables with Taxi Drivers thronging these outlets for robust Punjabi meals... for a modest sum of about Rs 2/-, one cud get a plate of two Tandoori Rotis with either a Chana Masala /Rajma /Dal Fry!Over time, the other two downed shutters, but Shere Punjab still going strong 🙏🏼🌹Just before the Pandemic we went for lunch. Chicken Razalla- tandoori boneless chicken wrapped in cheese- simply awesome, followed by Stuffed Amritsari Kulcha, Classic Tandoori Butter Roti along with Mutton Sagwala- all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Since day one, for the past 42 years, its been a tradition of completing our meal here with their simple but irresistable Jelly with Vanilla Icecream.This is one place we can visit again n again n..😋

An old jewel in Fort Area of Mumbai. The entrance is unassuming but once you enter there is a classical restaurant sitting arrangement spread in 3-4 different levels and areas. The restaurant must have seen great times in past. It still has a classic charm to itself. Food was superb. Tandoori Pomfret was great and Sarson ja Saag with Makki ki roti enthralling. The place receives heaviest footfalls on Wednesday and Friday. Little surprising but may be location in Fort Area is a bit offway for weekend crowds. You probably would miss the place as you walk by unless this is the destination for you. That this place is surviving today must be because of the Food, the quite and efficient Service and an innate charm of the place. It was a local friend who recommended this place and it turned out to be a pleasant one. There is a similar named restaurant across the road. Maybe good things happen in pairs.

The food taste was excellent and hygiene was also up to the mark.This was my second visit here and I had another great experience. The naan and roti served here are above average, and the dishes as well.Overall, it was another great experience.Another key thing is that there are two branches located in Fort opposite each other.

Excellent service and place to be especially after 9to5 job. It is very relaxing. Mostly high profile managers and executive were there when I was there. Staff are well managed and service prompt. A lot of privacy is maintained. Price are on the high side. Overall experience I enjoyed my experience.

I visited there for a farewell party of one of my friend. The place is spacious and was very comfortable for a group of 12 persons. There were multiple items Available in menu for soup, starter, main course and desserts. The staff was courteous and time taken between ordering and serving food was also justifiable.

We came here for authentic North Indian food and were delighted that our expectations were met. Taste 5/5. Service 5/5. Ambience - formal dining. Best suited for families. Location easy to access.

Food was okay and decently priced. The quality and preparation is a question as 2 of the family members had gastric issues immediately after our dinner. I would recommend a caution while choosing this place.

Its close to CSMT train terminus and is spacious. It has a good vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu. It is crowded on Wednesdays so you may have to reserve a table in advance. If you order smartly, you can get good food for a reasonable price. It is slightly costlier than other restaurants in the vicinity but the food is fresh and tasty, the service is good and the ambience is cozy but not cramped so it is VFM value for money.

The food here is generally good. We ordered a rajma and steamed rice which was decent; the rice wasnt very fresh. We also ordered a mushroom stir fry (which was very spicy) and a chicken curry. Overall the attendant was very professional and jovial and provided his suggestions; it was a pleasant experience - he was concerned and even offered to take the mushrooms back to reduce the spice. My suggestion is to order mughlai food which this place is know for. Will visit again.
