This is the second Maharaja Bhog outlet that Ive visited and Im as pleased as the first time. Their unlimited thali is truly a royal experience. If you gotta taste some great gujrati/rajastani food, this is your place. One of the things I absolutely love about them is their welcome drink. I find it quite unique and very refreshing.Their thali is quite gigantic with more than 10 varients of food in it including sabjis, rotis, dalbati, papads, chatani and much more..There were two types of desserts namely gajar ka hawla and fruit custurd. The staff was a cherry on top. They were so genuine and apt at thier service. The whole experience was worth every penny. Do visit

#latepost I dont realise how much I am eating and at the end its difficult for me to get up.😅 It is not happening all the time. But certainly experienced this situation when I checked in restaurants like these. This Gratify my heart a lot. I am frequent customer of @maharajabhogindia all outlets in Mumbai which is famous for colossal traditional spread that gladden my taste buds as always. They also (long time back) introduced 30 days 30 different menu to curtail monotony.Offering wide range of cuisines made in utmost high quality and hygiene, you will not regret to miss even a single dish on plate. One thing which I am very happy is that they are also focused on various traditional delicacies except from the kitchen of Gujrat and Rajasthan for example Misal which you can see in this pic apart from this Daal Pawan, Dahi Palak Bhaji, Ragda Patties etc ditto with vegetables. There will be one more additional dessert on weekends and special farsan as well. Food served is hot and fresh. Welcome drink made up of Chandan feels so soothing and refreshing. Service is absolutely on the toes and fast. Guests wont be waiting long for repeat orders to arrive. In past except few occasions where I experienced worst quality of dal, kheer, sabjis, its a roller coaster experience. After taking feedback they have much improved. Hence its one of my favorite and regular place to fill my stomach to the fullest capacity. 😅

Visiting Maharaja Bhog Is always in on wishlist of I guess each and everyone.Same goes for me, even I had this in wishlist and was excited when I was going there.Best part about visiting this place is you don’t have to think alot on what to order. “Everything will actually fall right into your plate”.So they have around 2-3 starters and fryums basically indian nachos, served with mint chutney and damn the mint chutney is just way beyond words tasty. Later on 3-4 main course sabzi which had mini undhyo, Paneer palak, Chana masala, along with that Dal and kadhi which has variants like gujrati or rajasthani, basically gujrati is the sweet one and rajasthani is a bit towards spicy side. And that can be eaten with their cute small chapatis and puris.Best part which I love is their desserts which had halwa and oh my god the halwa was just damn tasty made in pure ghee and after eating halwa directly sip their basundi..Some unusual things which u will love about this place is 1) Staff courtesy like making us wash our hands in their portable handwash basin that too luke warm water, 2) Paan after finishing food..Overall one day surely everyone should visit over here.. Would really like to thank to The owner and founder Ashish Maheshwari Sir for inviting us and hosting us the royal dinner, really glad ♥️

Its a good restaurant in the Oberoi mall on the 3floor of the mall, you can go there to have proper and exotic indian food. The lavish thali when laid out can be quite intimidating no matter how ravenous you are. Farsan, four vegetables, two dals, a special dish of the day, two kadhis, Indian breads, rice, khichdi, sweets, chutneys, and pickles. 33 items to devour, is indeed a lot of food. What is more, this is an unlimited thali and comes with a complimentary bottle of mineral water. The sandalwood and saffron infused welcome drink is refreshing. Surprisingly, the food is not overly rich or greasy. Each morsel boasts of the quintessential sweet Gujarati and spicy Rajasthani flavours, be it from the copious use of coriander seeds, or jaggery, or even the typical farsan. No scope for monotony here, as each dish is distinct. The effusive hospitality by the serving staff can get a bit obtrusive. Ever ready to refill your thali, one is often not allowed a minute’s respite. Rajasthani kadhi, makai rotla, elaichi shrikhand, are the highlights.

Two people serve from two different sides just because they have a large crowd to serve. They serve before even telling what they are serving. If you stop one to ask the item, by that time, second item is already served. Their rushing service spoils it. Food was not warm even when served. Quality for food was decent, but not special. Seating was comfy. And otherwise, the manager who was having a tough time to manage the huge crowd, he was very courteous and was trying his level best to help. Loved his endevours.

Sunday evening and I decided to end the day Maharaja style in Maharaja Bhog. Started with kachi Kari drink and end with paan was truly king sized meal. Of all the dish served, we liked the paneer and potato Curry and of course aamras. The waiter were vigilant and kept on checking for more. For desert we got jelabis and moong dal halwa, which wasnt too bad. Dhokla was bit try.Well we still found we area to steal a star away. They charged for my kid how was less than 5 year. We checked the charges before starting, but what they failed to mention was that if a to thali is served, then kids would be charged half rate. When we pointed out this, they did not agree. For payment, Sodexo meal pass card, credit card and cash is accepted.Revisit on December 2019 and their Sodexo card system was not operating. Food and service was good.

Maharaja Bhog, Oberoi Mall GoregaoAbout Maharaja Bhog- An unlimited Premium thali which you must try. I am not a fan of vegetarian food to be honest but since I visited this place my thought of vegetarian food totally got changed. They are really premium in all aspects for sure. Enjoyed the maharaja thali to fullest. The way their serving us was really impressive. I would strongly recommend that everyone must try this premium thali at least once; no doubt you will be their regular guest. Strongly recommend this place, go for it and enjoy. Thank you Maharaja Bhog for such a wonderful hospitality.Detailed Review-Location- 3rd floor of oberoi mall in goregao. Oberoi mall is one of the most popular malls of western suburbs in recent years. (4.5/5)Concept- They serves unlimited gujarati/marwadi food premium thali. The way they give us a wow experience is really impressive. (4.5/5)Look and Feel- A grand entrance invites you to enjoy the premium thali of them. On entrance itself they keep one proper thali of the day so guests can check or know what will be served to them. Interiors are really done in royal way. Seating got couches or chairs which are extremely comfortable. Lights are bright which gives fresh and positive feel to your visit. (4.5/5)Service- “Atithi devo bhav” guess they know it perfect definition of this term. The staff is super friendly and ever welcoming. Starting from entrance till you finish and go out of the restaurant it was a VVIP service for each of their guests. Staff is so humble, they keep on suggesting you to try their food and always ready to serve you more and more. Highly impressed with the hospitality what I experience in Maharaja Bhog. (5/5)Food- Thali is something which we eat on a daily bases at home. The number of options what we get at home are limited though. Here they are serving premium thali which has more than 30 varieties of food and beverages. Starting with welcome drink they had kesar ka sharbat which was really flavoursome and little sweet so can say refreshing. You can enjoy your journey of this premium thali along with Masala chaas. Then they come with few types of chutney like green, sweet chutney and papaya chutney. Server brought farsan category which had harabhara tikki and khasta kachori. Then comes the 4 types of vegetables followed by 2 types odd all and 2 types of kadhi (isn’t it must when it comes to this type of cuisine). Phulka, methi paratha was next to follow with rotla which you can enjoy with ghee and jiggery. Sweet dish had fruit salad and moong daal halwa which was highlight of the day. Once you eat all this and ask them for more whichever you like, they will make sure you try their khichadi with lot of ghee or steam rice. A super heavy meal can be finished with sweet paan. Few of their preparations are really worth eating again and again. (4.5/5)

At the outset, I would like to admit that I am not a pro-Thali person, not that I detest it but given a choice I would give it a miss. My personal opinion, eating at a Thali joint is like going shopping for a pack of chips to a self-service Super Market. You enter with an intent to buy stuff not more than Rs.100 and end up running a bill of Rs.1000. Drawing the same inference to a Thali lunch, one enters with an intent to have lunch and comes out having lunch, snacks and dinner as well. This review is not based on or a derivative of my personal opinions, it’s purely based on my experience. This it was a team lunch that brought us here since it was a Tuesday and most team members were vegetarians; very much like Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Hyde. They have a huge dining hall with most tables equipped to seat 4 people at the max but they do join tables if you are in bigger group. On the left hand side of the entrance, they have created something I term as Wall of Spice. On the wall, behind a glass partition, they have created a huge square display of many Indian whole spice and condiment. No sooner you are seated they start placing their cutlery on the table. I believe the cutlery is made from Kasa metal which is form of bronze. We were served a cold sweet welcome drink made from saffron induced water which had traces of white sesame and edible camphor.Their Premium Thali included 2 starters, 4 vegetable, 2 types of Dal, 2 types of Kadhi, 3 types of Roti, 2 types of Rice, 2 varieties of Sweets apart from the chutney, salad, pickle and papad. They have a rotating menu for the entire month, which means they have 30 menus for the entire month, a whopping 750 dishes throughout the month. Some noteworthy dishes that I had that day were:Dakor Gota Chaat – Gota means bhajiya and it derives its name from the place it originated from, Dakor. It’s made from besan and rava, fried and then soaked in water. These gota’s are then topped with sweet whipped dahi, chopped onions, red chili powder and chaat masala.Kaju Kanda Karela – I swear that I have never had such a delightful veggie made from Bitter Gourd aka Karela. Karela and Onions were cut length wise and deep fried. Onions were caramelised. Both were then cooked together with grated coconut and cashew nuts. I have lost count of the number helpings I had of this particular dish. Kudos to the Chef!Mohanthal – Made from besan using lot ghee and dry fruits and cut into square pieces. But the one served to us was not solidified too much so as ease the serving process. It was amazing. The service is quick, efficient and a lot of times a bit forceful but out of genuine feeling that a guest is God [Athithi Devo Bhava] and he needs to be satisfied. They have a unique way of communicating with each other across the hall. They have developed unique hand signs / signals, one for each type of serving. It is basically used to communicate which particular type of dish is to be served on which table without having to shout across the hall.True to its name, the ultimate feeling of being a Maharaja is when a person brings water and a flat vessel for you to your table for you to wash your hands.A Meetha Paan is ultimate way to end such a sumptuous meal.“Annadata Sukhi Bhava” is all one can manage to say and walk away to find a place for a siesta!Food Quality – 4/5Food Quantity – 4/5Ambience – 4/5Service – 4/5Price – 4/5

Seems this place is a little hyped. The food was really okay compared to the price charged (550 INR pp; unlimited food).Usually very crowded on weekends unless you arrive early (around 12-12:30pm for lunch). The most unacceptable part - improper crowd management. No token system/ display that would inform you of your turn to go in, which was really needed given the crowd that waited. However, the service was quite fast and the staff had a particular way of communicating with each other which reduced noise and speeded the whole serving process as well.

The best thing that I liked about Maharaja bhog was their service. They were quick in their service especially due to the unique way in which they communicated. They used their own code of sign language and avoided calling out each other. About the food, the food is overall good and healthy. I had been their twice and I was impressed with the menu on my first visit as compared to my second one. The malpua was delicious, apple basundi was okay, Dahi vada was soft and creamy. I think old people would definitely like this considering the light dishes. Their khichdi topped with a spoonful of ghee was the best amongst all the other dishes.

Aam Ras in mango season dahi wada different vegetables . Variety of rotis khichdi rice and Farsan like Samosa dhokla are standard fares. At 550 bucks it’s a decent option for large family dinners. In its new avatar they have introduced some nice concepts like Maha thaal where u literally share the big thali with a group of 4. The necessary temp checks and hand sanitization was done at the entrance. The first thing I noticed was that each and every person in the staff was wearing their masks properly, a thumbs up to the management.First we love the Ambience simple and sweet with comfortable seating arrangement according to the group of people.Second The staff and the service were good and quick, make us comfortable and serve food in systematic Way.Maharaja Bhog served only Thali in which you get a complete meal option to taste like3 Sweet, Chaat, Farsan, Types of vegetables, Rice, 2 types of Dal(Sweet and spicy) and Roti( Fulka Roti with Pure Makhan and Masala Puri.)All this come in best deal.Food: 8/10Service: 10/10 ( I LOVEEEEDDD THE SERVICE ) I literally felt like a king.

Disappointing service. Particularly this branch was so clumsy, crowded even during Covid days. The Managers with fake hospitality keep asking We hope everything is Ok but they dont actually tell the waiters to serve all the items, which they actuallyshould do. Its so bad that Customers have to ask for items again and again.I missed 3 items from that day menu. I saw my side table people eating it, but I forgot to ask for it, so the waiters did Not serve it either.I visited Oberoi Mall Maharaja Bhog on 20th Dec 2020 evening.Approx 1300 rs for 2 people was charged with no service at all.You can spend your money somewhere else.

This being my first visit to this outlet at oberoi mall, previously had gone to Inorbit Mall and there service was excellent and make you feel like Maharaja! But this particular outlet disappointed! Its was very crowded( because it was sunday) and all staff were running here and there! Literally had to call them so so many times to ask whatever you need! So some staff just ask and then they dont wait for ur answer and start to pour in ur thali! Food was excellent though, but had to wait for long and ask again and again for things to eat made me not feel like maharaja like previous experience!( Tip : Dont visit on Sunday or Public Holidays, if you still do then visit before rush hour)

I am not much of a veg lover but given the price for an Utsav Thali here is more that ₹600/- I find this place a lil too over priced even though the service is okayish and an amazing ambience. Food service is delicious but not upto the level which one can find in a Rajasthani Cuisine specialist restaurants. Visit once for an experience of Rajwadi Thali like Rajasthans famous Thali system but the price range is a lil too much for a foodie on budget 👍
