Food was not so good actually because they mixed Mediterranean food with indian food so taste was not at all satisfactory

I visited Trident, Nariman Point with my family on Eid for lunch at Frangipani restaurant.Frangipani is a superb restaurant with a wide array of delicious continental and Indian cuisine. Ambience wise, it is top tier and waiters are very courteous and polite. Preparing of dishes takes a bit longer than desirable but it is a trivial thing really not a flaw.Coming to the a la carte menu, the chicken consomme, tikka pizza, chicken cutlet were really delectable but chicken biriyani was the undisputed star. No Eid is complete without superb Biryani and thanks to Frangipani for serving such a delicious biriyani which was really fragrant and tasty without being overpowering in spiciness. Ill admit that it was one of the finest Biryani dishes I have ever had. High praise indeed considering I lived in Hyderabad for 5 years and love Biryani, haha.The choice of cocktails is also decent. I had a long island iced tea which was quite perfect.Price wise, it is a five star restaurant so of course it isnt going to be easy on the wallet. What matters is the experience and the quality and I can vouch for it that Frangipani excels on both metrics.Happy dining folks!

Due to the lockdown imposed by the Maharashtra Government the Restaurant is opened only for resident guests. The breakfast is also being served here. I checked in to the hotel and incidentally it coincided with my daughters birthday. When I checked into the restaurant manager , Mr Shubham he offered to set up a nice table for us for dinner. I am extremely grateful to the staff for making it memorable for us in spite of the challenging times we are going through.The table was nicely decorated, nothing extravagant but quite classy. The staff not only helped us with our menu selection but was checking on if we need anything quite frequently. My daughter and my spouse were also offered a complimentary drink with the food.The food of Oberoi never disappoints and this time was not an exception too. The Kebabs and the Salmon left us in a state of trance for quite some time. Overall a fantastic restaurant, with brilliant food which comes alive due to the warm and friendly staff

Honestly, was quite disappointed, delivery was way below expectations. A lot of the items which are usually there for the buffet were removed. The items didnt have the name of the dish, it appeared as if everything was planned and executed last minute and like they didnt have enough time to put up the names. The only information on display was whether the item is veg or non veg and a few other dishes like pork salami had a name on it. Also, the variety of cold cuts served was very less this time. Overall it was decent and whatever was available was fine but it just didnt feel the same. I have had better experiences at this restaurant before.

It was just wowsome... u can prefer both the options... table serve and buffet!!!!U can ask for table serve and in a meanwhile go through buffet with various dishes from all the different countries cuisine and have it... 3 waiters for 1 table to assist you..... now its my favourite spot

This restaurant is located in Trident hotel premises along with Indiana Jones restaurant in the hotels basement (lower ground floor). The food was yummy. I admit that the chef in there is superb. I had never ever eaten something so delicious. Its expensive but its worth it.

Frangipani restaurant in Trident, Nariman point has an excellent buffet dinner. The breads are baked to perfection. The soup is served on the table. We had tomato and roasted bell pepper soup which was delicious. The salads and Mediterranean dips are excellent. Their Makhani dal is very famous. It is very rich but mildly spiced. Dessert options are plenty. We tasted baked Gulab Jamun and Blueberry Panna cotta. Coffee can be made to your liking and served on the table. The decor is minimal and pleasing and does not interfere with the overall vibe which is very good. The table service is quite slow although we didnt mind too much because it isnt the place for a rushed meal. But it can be improved. The buffet is priced at ₹2200 per person + taxes which totals to about 2700 per person.

Went for dinner. Nice setting, not overly formal. Food was fine, had the cold buffet which are cold cuts, dips, salad and soup along with a pizza. What really sets this place apart is the service which was just excellent and above already high expectations. Thoughtful and warm, the staff are excellent hosts. Would definitely return. Total price for three was rs 5000 as they unexpectedly comped us the pizza and gave us a dessert on the house.

Had been to Frangipani recently during a stay at Trident.The food was really excellent overall. Had 2 meals there and can describe all food ordered -1. Paneer Khurchan - excellent taste. One of the best paneer we have ever had. Very very soft2. Roti, Stuffed Kulcha - yes, I cant believe i m writing abt the Roti ! But i should say the roti was very very soft and nice. I have never had a tandoori roti so soft and tasty !3. Truffle Mushroom soup - decent soup...a brown mushroom soup, palatable.4. Primavera - pizza was decent, but the price was a bomber ! Nothing special abt it!Overall the staff is very courteous and friendly. Restaurant is over priced, but then again its the Oberoi group so I didnt expect a lower price anyways !

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and there was quite a large variety of dishes to choose from. While the range of food is very good I would rate it just short of excellent because there were limited choices of cheese and cold cut meats, Fruit choices could have been more as well. Service was a little slow perhaps because the restaurant was busy in the mid morning

Extremely high standard of cuisine, coupled with great restaurant atmosphere. Very courteous staff. The Chef enquired twice for any special preparation. A real pleasure. We are very impressed. We will return! A very good restaurant coupled to the Trident Hotel offering all types of food. They serve excellent pizzas, maybe the best Ive tasted outside of Italy.

The food was as expected. Feel the place needs a makeover now, its started showing age. The food was good as expected. There was nothing that wowed, everything just as expected. Just that expected more variety for a buffet.

Awesome food quality. Lots of choices available both for veg and non-veg. Non-veg starters especially Prawn and Chicken Tikka were mouth watering. Plenty of choice available for dessert. Service is excellent. Above all, the ambience is perfect to unwind with family and friends.

Trident NP is a lovely hotel situated at an even better place. The restaurant is good and the food is nice too. But its just another 5start restaurant and nothing overly exciting or great.

A no hassle restaurant with lovely people. We cant comment on hospitality. They are one of the leading masters in the field. Lunch buffet is exotic and a treat.

Overly priced dinner buffet and the food taste and quality was average, plus they have a live pizza counter that you assume is inclusive but thats not the case... The kids see it and want it and you end up paying a bomb and pizza is less than average in taste. Frankly in 2500 ,3 people can enjoy a great buffet with unlimited virgin drinks at barbeque nation.The only thing good was the Nice warm chef - Russell who took my little one for a kitchen tour,making his stay memorable. He was very very caring and attentive during out morning breakfast .Their breakfast spread is good though.

Super pretty place. Great for a day meal. The food is fairly average, though. Had the chicken and iceberg lettuce salad which was super pretty and fresh. Flavor wise, the only thing that worked. Also ordered the lasagna, which was average.

The experience was good, but i had mentioned a complimentary cake which was not served nor breads were served with the soup- they mentioned its all over!

If you want to host someone special.... The place to be.... Impeccable service with smile. Culinary is class. A table for two without wine should cost approx 4-5k.

Food (the buffet dinner) was bad and stale ~ not edible really....But the waiter and chef truly apologized for the dissatisfaction and that sorta eased me out.So I rate the service 4 outta 5 stars, but the food 2 out of 5.

The food is great but youre going to be spoiled by the service. Trident as a hotel has the best service Ive experienced. Come here for a low key birthday dinner. Their sourdough margherita (contains bacon) is the best.

Great ambience and awesome food

I held a conference here last week (250 people). The venue was beautiful but the staff were very challenging to work with. We had particular AV needs and despite many many calls and in-person meetings to go over them, the staff totally botched it. Videos would not play despite having tested them that morning (they decided to switch to a broken cable after we tested), the flat screen monitors we paid for were actually large old school box televisions, and during the presentations staff were running around taping wires to the floor with very loud duct tape ripping noises.They would not let us put our event banner upstairs (the ballroom is downstairs and quite hard to find) and the staff at the desk when you come in had no idea about our event despite asking for someone to help attendees find the room. The business center (shared with Oberoi?) was the biggest nightmare ever. They had some weird automatic formatting that adds a few cm to any document, so printing name badges was worse than a brain aneurysm. (Even when taking into account different paper sizes across regions). The color printer wasnt working and the black printer spattered colored ink across everything. A ten minute job turned into over three hours!The food however was quite good and I got the sense the staff were well intentioned, just very hard to reach in advance by email/phone, not forthcoming with direct responses, and their AV equipment is very poor quality.The food was good.
