It was a pleasant and good stay at old antique house.. large crowd is best.. location is very good

The place is at very good location. Food and other services are good. The only problem we faced was while reaching the resort. There is no road for about 1-2 kms near resort. Since it was raining continuously from last 2-3 days, so the situation became worst. There were so many leeches on the road and resort due to heavy rainfall.

I had mixed feeling after reading several reviews here on Google about the road condition and the comfort level of the stay.But I must say, we got lucky because they have laid out new road recently all the way until home stay and the rooms are recently renovated with new make over. We had new mattresses, fresh linen sheets and hygienic toilets. The stay was comfortable and we enjoyed the locato thd core.Its a pleasant homestay with unique aura to it. I would definitely come back here with family and friends.

Not worth for money.We stayed there for 2 days, our pathetic experience started driving to the place where no proper road(almost no road) upto 3kms prior to destination.And then no so cozy ambiance inside residence no proper bed and bathroom (not meant for family). As they claim there are no activities, anything you ask they would say either it’s broken or no proper response.Finally it’s food, it’s negative rated food so unhygienic and pathetic serviceTry to avoid visiting this pathetic place

We stayed here for a family vacation for 3 nights and I cherished every moment spent here.Location - It is a mountain top vintage homestay of British era. The property has restored its authenticity and thats the charm rare to find.Stay - Very comfortable rooms with hygienic toilets and plush beds with antique furnitures.Food - We were served with delicious malnad style food and the akki rotti chicken curry was freakin awesome.Staff - They go out of their way to make the stay pleasant for you.All in all it was not an ordinary stay and I would definitely come back here.

Not really worth the price, paid 4k for two day.Rooms are not good, food is average.Washroom is not great.Just one attach bathroom. 6 people had visited and was provided with just one bathroom which was bad.No proper route available for the stay, had to search a lot to reach there.There are many good places to visit near by to the stay. But really not worth for the price.

No maintenance of Rooms, no attach bathrooms, der s no proper beds, we went with group of 9 people we wer disappointed badly with wt dis place. The place s full of Leaches, Food was just ok, and der No proper Road to Reach dis Stay. Totally waste of Money.

Located in a beautiful place

Ok! Needs a bit more maintenance. The fish spa outside is absolutely dirty, filled with tadpoles instead of fish. Leeches everywhere.. need to carry a packet of salt. Road to property is very bad, needs a jeep ideally. Some rooms dont have attached bath. water fall is nice but far away and its not private to the estate owner, and is a long walk down. Food is good. Cellular network is very weak / nil at this spot. Chikmagalur is perhaps a better option than Hulikatte.

This home stay was actually located on the hilltop with spectacular views of the mountains surrounded with scenic trees, chirping birds and excellent food. The place will be bit isolated and off the track but with help from the owner and his supportive staffs we didnt find much difficulty. Worth spending 2 days if you wanted to get rid of the routine work and the polluted environment.

Hav been to many places..this was the worst experience. Miscommunication with two owners and backing up saying bookin is not finalised. Somehow v worked it since v had reached ther. First of all.. speaking the truth. Location is awesome.. wonderful..keep ride to falls and other place was really awesumm too.but rooms are pathetic and win worst condition.cud not sleep coz insects were everywhere .bad maintenance. No clean beds.it was gross.Food was ok.not dat gud as v hav stayed other places too.. comparatively Nothin outstanding.srsly the owners must chk on the people who trust and stay their for peace... cleanliness is a must

Nice place to hangout with friends. Download the directions before you start. Food can be improved. Caretaker Ravi is ready to oblige any request with respect to food. He will try to arrange things. Place is neat and clean. Not much to do as far as activities are concerned. We played cricket to beat the boredom. View point drive and view point was very good. Surrounding view was fantastic. Overall a good place to hangout and have good time.

This is typical home stay... So dont expect resort facilities. Nice location... Nice staff and the owner... Very accommodating, very friendly. Nice food add per your choice.

Hulikatte Homestay - in Mudigere, Chikamagalur Dist. in Karnataka - A serene, beautiful place for a holiday, away from the noise & hustle and bustle of the city. We went to a place nearby to see the sunset, which was glorious. Early one morning we went to a small waterfall & took a dip in cool, refreshing waters, I shall post those photos a soon.

Because only me and my daughter went for 4 days we got z+ security care by Mr abhisekh , the owner.Relished his moms bland food by the end of the 4 th day in comparison to the extra masala food in banglore. chefs food is provided only for a bigger gang.An isolated cozy place on a small hill, far away from the citys hustle and bustle especially for people loving to be all by themselves. Just like mini switerland.Water falls amidst mountains always is heart rendering for me.Mr Maheshs coffee shop named Rani jhari stocked all good quality condiments and spices.His mothers wine and pickles were oosing with home made love .

If you want to visit a quiet place and not having many guests, this homestay is for you. Most of the surrounding homestays are very crowded.. this place is nicely tucked away in one corner of the coffee estate with good views all around.. food is amazing and tastes really good..also dont miss the trek to ballalarayana Durga fort which is picturesque..

Just came back yesterday and missing already , never had a host in skin of a friend.What a wonderful person Abhishek is.Its a damn good place with damn good people. Thats what Home means in homestay.
