Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Mr Nandu is a wonderful host, catered to our requests and also suggested places to explore around the area. Domestic help are very welcoming and helpful. We got the entire villa for ourselves and the dogs at the place are really fun to play with. Would recommend this place if you want to have a peaceful vacation away from the city life.

This is such a beautiful homestay in Chikmagalur. Nandu, the host is extremely helpful and welcoming. The property is so beautiful that you wouldnt even want to go out. Nandu arranged bonfire and dinner for us at short notice. We relished the home cooked food that was also the best part. The property is pet friendly and my Shihtzu enjoyed the stay even more than us!! Thank you Nandu. Wish to visit again.

Very friendly host and support staff. Place has panaronic views of the Western ghats and coffee plantations all around. Would definnetly vsisit again.

It’s a fantastic place. We stopped over for lunch during our bicycle tour called Tour of Karnataka. Hospitality and food were just fantastic. Will go back again.

We had been there in 2013. Huge place, well maintained, great food. Iteraction with the hosts was limited and no other guests were staying at the property.

Good stay. Very comfortable.Amazing place., Beautiful few.Also you can do short trekking into estate hills.

It was nice experience staying in Nesting Grounds homestay. We really enjoyed the hospitality and food. Definitely we refer the same to others and also we will try to visit again soon. Thanks again for the everything.

Very nice and calm place to relax and stay.And easy access to near town as well. Both veg and non veg food was good. Outside cottage view is really good and it is a pet friendly place where they have some dogs to play over thr.

Loved the place . Awesome view, calm, clean and home food. Food options are less, but food prepared is good.Parking available. Total 2 rooms with much bigger dining and common area. There are extra 3-4 Beds for kids or extra guests.

Beautiful place to spend weekend with family & friends, we visited Nesting grounds homestay on June 1/2 weekend with a group of 11 friends. The owner (Mr. Nandu) & the staff were extremely courteous and ensured our stay was memorable. Great food and the memories are still fresh.

I showed up at this Home Stay with no booking in the evening on my way to Udupi as it was getting dark hoping I could stay.The good folks at this place could not have been more helpful and accommodating.The rooms were clean and ready to go with no notice, and somehow between my showing up unannounced and the morning sausages were acquired locally and appeared at breakfast along with everything else needed for a great meal. What more could you want!This is a working Coffee Plantation that Nandu, my host, and his family obviously have worked and developed over generations. A stunning setting that I would loved to have lingered at for more than one night.Thank you Sir (and please apologize to your parents for me for interrupting their evening meal by knocking on their door).I will be coming back one day for sure.

Me and my cousins (Group of 10 ppl ) had been to this beautiful homestay surrounded by Nature.The location is peaceful and calm. The owner Mr Nandu is very friendly and very informative.The working staff are also very professional and friendly.THE FOOD WAS TOO GOOD (Try the local cuisine its the best we have eaten till date )one among the best homestays in Mudigere. Its a 4hour drive from Bangalore.

Its only a , 1 double storied cottage. Able to accommodate many people ..nearly 3 families.. Food will be available on time..good nature walk. Its an individuals property..

Nice food at a decent price. the hosts are friendly and nice and will do their best to make your stay comfortable . This place is a haven for dog lovers as the hosts have over ten Friendly dogs from Labs to Huskies .

This homestay is located in between a coffee estate with a beautiful view from the cottage.Owners and staffs are very friendly and great hospitality, they make sure that your stay is comfortable.We went for a beautiful walk around the estate.Dog lovers will love it coz they have around 6 dogs which includes breeds like Husky, Lab and Dachshund.Food is just amazing, very well prepared both Veg and Non veg which includes local cuisine as well. Food lovers will love it.We went to Devarabetta which is a sun set spot.So overall we had a very good experience in Nesting grounds.

We stayed in this place for 2 days. It was an amazing experience. Food is great. Owner Nandu took really good care of us. Evening we visited devera betta, which is a sunset point. After spending wonderful time in the evening with a cool breeze we were served with hot and yummy dinner. Morning it will be very peaceful and can go for a walk around the home stay in midst of wounderful greenery. Overall it was very peaceful n blissful stay with amazing hospitality.

Best place for corporate teams, for engaging there are lots of indoor games. Food and snacks really good along with welcome drink.

We were looking for 2-3 days outing from Bangalore that was not very far and at the same time very enjoyable. And Im glad I found Nesting Grounds.Location: Let me clarify one thing. This home stay is not located in the Chikamagalur, in fact, none of the home stays are. Most of the good homestays are located around 20-30 km from Chikamagalur, but thats a good thing. Nesting Grounds is located among the plantations and the way to reach there is a journey in itself. The location is not very trivial, but Nandhu, the owner, gives very good directions that are easily to follow.Being located on the height it offers the fantastic view of the Mudigere city and a wonderful sunset.Service: The rooms are located just next to the house the owners themselves are living and used to stay themselves at one point. Its very well maintained and very very spacey. Apart from your rooms, you have a common room, vestibule and dining room at your disposal. The rooms are not luxury like youd expect in hotels, but its a very comfortable stay. Food, which is part of the plan, is very fresh and served hot and one of the best authentic food youll have.I went with my wife and my parents and we enjoyed the hospitality to the fullest. Would strongly recommend.
