They serve a good variety of food. The quality is maintained. The price is extremely high for the quantity of food they serve.Masala dosa was good but no red chutney or atleast the chutney powder, when they charge so high such little things must also be taken care.Large parking lot.Washrooms are not at all maintained, no locks for the glass doors!!A lady sitting there asks for money when there is a big board saying free washrooms. Its embarassing when they ask for money and we dont have money. Not just the price also increase the effort to maintain these.
Best place to stop when you are travelling from Mysore Banglore. The self service section will be crowded, if u want avoid crowd and have a peaceful food dont hesitate to go for self service the staffs are very kind.Must try - Pongal and vada 🤤( I had that for breakfast). Have it with more ghee its okay to have some days😅
They offer pizza, pasta, sandwiches, rolls, drinks. The timing is till 11 PM. I went there a little late, they were offering takeaways but on request they allowed me and my family to dine in. I ordered pasta, pizza, and paneer tikka roll. Penne Pink Sauce Pasta and Shivalli Farm Fresh pizza both were best. Paneer tikka roll was very spicy. It was good as well.Hit 👍 if u found this helpful.
Have been to the old shivalli and wanted to explore the newly opened one. This restaurant has good parking place and also serves some traditional dishes such as rice porridge, ganji, hayagreva, etc. Prices are on the higher side but quality is good and so is the service. It has a big banyan tree inside and has a good ambience.
Positives- convenient location, ample parking space,Negatives- cost, crowd, no covid protocol
A best place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner in between Mysore and Banglore highway. This restaurant have a huge menu in Chinese, Italian, Mexican, North Indian, South Indian, rolls, wraps & cold pressed juice.Must try items in menu arePineapple lemon cold pressed juice.Mexican burger.Spring rolls and pizzas are quite good. The place is very neat and clean here, even they have modern bathrooms and they were also neat and clean. The restaurant staff doesn’t know proper Hindi so make sure you are going with someone who know there language so it will be easier for you. The food quality is best here, the staff is very polite and of kind nature.just beside this restaurant they have a handicraft shop there, which is also good for handicraft shopping and also they have organic store , which is also good.
Visited on 18th July 2021Review of Shivalli Restaurant which is left side of the Mysuru & Bengaluru highway towards Bengaluru side.Ambience is nice with a peppal tree at center with a small pond. Ramp is available for entry into restaurant hall.Food is tasty.Shivalli special being Chandrahara(sweet), Boiled rice porridge, Neer Dosa made up of Rajmudi rice batter served with coconut & jaggery.Organic store & small plant nursery attached to it.Ample car parking area.Washrooms are neatly maintained. Both western & Indian toilets available . Ramp is available for entry to washroom.Seen signboard in the cafe attached to it that it serves pasta, Burger etc. but not sure about serving time.
Absolutely the best vegetarian Restaurant in Bangalore - Mysore highway. So much choice to chose from. Incredible hygiene levels and a beautiful decor. Over all I am very lucky to finally discover the best place for my dining needs
Well maintained. Good place to relax with food enroute travelling.
Toilets are well maintained.Theres a shop which sells locally manufactured handicraft items.
Ok.. neat and clean but price is abit high. Should reduce it
Good foodNice ambience around the big tree along with running water
Well maintained toilets. Food is okay. Service can be still warmer considering the ambience. Dont forget to remind them not to add sugar to your juice if you are ordering one and they still might forget not to add. You can go here if Kamath is too crowded.
Good vegetarian restaurant on both sides of the highway. Food served is hot & tasty. Mornings dont miss their idlis, which are served with hot sambar & coconut chutney. Dosas are crispy. Coffee is by far excellent than tea. The restaurant closes by 9 pm. If you are a night owl please check before going.Service needs to improve.Adjacent to it is Mandya Organics which has an arrey of products.
Nice place to purchase organic food, have quick snack and tea
A new place has sprouted up on the Bangalore - Mysore Highway. Nice for a stopover. Lots of parking space. Well organised. Clean washrooms. The icing on the cake is the large multi-brand organic store (ORGANIC MANDYA) adjacent to the restaurant. The store is well stocked with a huge variety of products of food, personal and healthcare. A must place to visit, even if you skip the restaurant.
Very clean restaurant and absolute tasty food!Restaurant is really maintained very well, staff is very courteous and friendly. It is beautifully constructed around our National Tree Banyan. I would highly recommend this hotel for Bangalore-Mysore commuters.Tips- It opens at 7amVada sambar should not be missed, ask them to serve vada dipped into the sambar, otherwise they will serve the sambar in a separate cup.
Service has deteriorated a bit. Car services is not great. But the legendary shivalli still is the go to place in Mysuru - Bengaluru highway.
ಶಿವಳ್ಳಿ restaurant is not much crowded place in the present situation. The food preparation is good but yet to improve the parking place for customers vehicles. in future this may improve.
Huge place, looks good post renovation. Distance maintained from table to table. Good pitstop for travellers to munch or lunch. Do visit the organic store. Its good.
A definite stop over between Bangalore and Mysore. Doesnt disappoint. Masala dosa, madder vada, Bonda Soup, must try. You get bajjis and chats in the evening which are delectable.
Always a top choice for people who prefer vegetarian South Indian food and traveling either from or to Mysore. This restaurant is roughly 65 kms from Bangalore just after Channapatna (if you are traveling to Mysore) or before Channapatna city if you are traveling to Bangalore from Mysore. The restaurant is on either side of the highway. This is the older restaurant which has been renovated recently. Looks a lot more better than the old look. Theres self service as well as service available now. They have also introduced few new items to the menu for people who like porridge or ganji along with spicy masala dosa. The service has been good as always so is the quality of food
Tasty and delicious food.Very good ambience..Convenient access on both sides of the highway.Ample parking space.
Very well maintained. What we look 1st in a Highway restaurant is Good food and clean washroom. Both are 5 star
Nice ambience. Sanitary surroundings. Helpful staff and finally nice scrumptious meal. Definitely recommend.
Tasty food here, but no one is bothered about Mask even Hotel staff doesnt insists the customers to wear mask. Afternoon I saw in one table family members about ten no one was wearing when entered the Hotel
Clean parking area and now amazing food area they have created post renovation due to road extension. Also, the most important part is clean toilets, as god And comparable to airports.Their food is always original and freshly hot. Coffee is just right for a driving family group, It will be a refresher. Well maintained and their bisibelebath, Pongal coffee are must try’s.Variety of idly; either eat dip or with sambar and chutney, it’s tasty. The chow-chow bath is just right as a starter if you are in a group.
Great food. Good ambience. Quick service. Slightly limited choice of items. Most popular is the Benne Dosa.
Good place with tasty food. New interior.good ambience and provision for lot people to sit
Even during pandemic this place gets regular crowd thanks to their delicious items. However rates have increased because of the rejig but taste remains the same. Good place to stop by.
Used to be an amazing place OUAT. Now its big but has lost its charm and taste is ordinary. We have so many Darshinis in Bangalore or Mysore where the food tastes better.
Wonderful place. Awesome food. Pleasing palette
New monument is good but food quality and service is become lethargic and pretty slow, dont forget to ask for spoons, tissue papers and tomato ketchup in advance or they will bring after finishing your food
Very nice place.... Food quality is not upto the mark very rushy place
Shivalli restaurant located on both sides of road near channapatna. It is old restaurant and very well know for its taste.Must try: Idli, Bisibele bath, coffeeTaste 4/5: I have tried bisibele bath, idli and dosa till now. It tastes good but not unique.Price 3/5: It tooooooo costly for what we have. Bisi bele bath is ₹70/ plate which I felt not worth for it.Service 4/5: They have both service and self service.Parking 4/5: Restaurant has dedicated parking and security takes cares of proper parking.Overall, can have once in a while but tooooo costly.
Good food with great options. Cleanliness maintained. ample parking space and neat restroom
The place is well maintained and hygienic with pleasant ambience although the food served is not worth the price.
Nice restaurant but takes times to get services as there will lot of crowd on weekends
Good parking space. Decent restaurant to stop by for a break. There are couple of shops too for shopping organic food and artifacts.
One of the best place to have breakfast while traveling between Mysore and Bangalore. All South Indian dishes are delicious
Good Ambiance and tasty food with great service. Nice place to visit with family & friends.
Its an amazing place to stop by . Must try. They server all kinds of food, Jain Food is less. It was worth stoping by for Dinner.
Good ambiance, fast service. Good taste. But very costly.
Good ambience and food is tasty. I have tried their usual breakfast masala dose, idli and vade and all was good
Amazing food and excellent service and very hygienic, can anyone ask more ? Definitely try the coconut milk porridge with rice that’s got a tinge of fresh ghee laced with finely chopped fresh green chilli , it’s healthy and a wholesome meal one shouldn’t miss . For the dessert recommend the Badam Halva and yes don’t miss finishing off with the authentic freshly filtered coffee !The floor supervisor ( forgot his name ) is very friendly and ensures each of his guests are well looked after . Happened to meet the owner Laxmi Narayan and congratulated him for the enterprise he is running in these challenging times !
Good food and good ambience. Spacious car parking
I am visiting after almost a year. Dining area has been completely remodeled. Lots of space between tables. Dining area has open atmosphere, well ventilated.Food & service are at their usual best.Saw that every table being sanitized after the guest leaves.
Have been visiting shivalli from an extremely long time... But the present shivalli is highly commercialized.. because of which they might have increased the prices...!!We had goli baje...and the taste was okay..!
Wonderfully redone...an awesome place for a food breakaway while coming back on Mysore Road...
Tea is of regular taste nothing special, no idea on food. However it has been in that location from long so the fame. They have updated their restaurant so the ambiance is good now.
An exquisite place on the Mysore Bangalore highway. Shivalli serves hot fresh food and refreshments, fruit juices, snacks, ....all yummy. There is a Mandya Organic store, simply amazing.Lots of parking space available. The restrooms are amazingly clean, and well maintained. The owner personally comes to you to see your comfort. Well trained staff. The ambience is so nice and relaxing. There is a nursery at the rear called Shivalli Greens selling plants to those interested. Wheelchair accessible and a welcome stop on the highway. A must visit!!!
Excellent place. Good parking space. Nice food & environment.
Price is not affordable, but taste is good, that means we cant give Rs.90 for dosa items..
A good hygiene hotel on the Bangalore Mysore highway, we get good quality Idli, Vada, Dosa and Famous Maddur Vada.
Food and Ambience is good. Must visit in Bangalore Mysore Highway
Theres a change in the taste of sambar, personally it didnt please me. Medu vada was refried and that was not appreciated!
The food is awesome here. Lots of place to sit and eat
Pizzas and momos were nice! Its an average Italian restaurant.
The consistency in their food taste and quality is what makes this place so popular. The service is quick and good.

Wonderful place to have break on the way to Bangalore-Mysore- Bangalore...very convenient point to RELAX AND GO...
MashaAllahReally a great experience of good food and hygiene maintenance.
Heard a lot about it and when I visited it did not disappoint me. The best part was very courteous staff, loved the khara bath (upma), dosa and the strong filter coffee. The best joint on bangalore myaore highway
Clean place with ample parking space and clean restrooms. Loved their bissibele bath. Dosa was also good
We ordered paneer tikka pizza & cheesy fries. Was very bad at taste, never recommend to visit shivalli chowki
Very good hospitality and services, hygienic place with quality food. Great experience :)
Very nice ambient place. Good taste. Quality food.
Very good veg restaurant on Bangalore Mysore highway. Very tasty south Indian varieties as well as Sandwiches Burgers, pizza chat and juices available... self service and service both options available. Parking on weekends can be a challenge but that is the case in any reputed restaurant on Bangalore Mysore Highway. Rest rooms are clean and well maintained which is an advantage.
Been there just for tea which was really good.
Meals was nice and tasty.. Nicely renovated with good interiors and service was also good.
