Food here has been beautiful. Been here two days this week for takeaway, first occasion the chicken schnitzel with the second occasion the potato bake, apple pie & strawberry thick shake, everything was simply stunning!Definitely recommend and cant wait to dine in once lockdown is over.

I come here with my daughter & sometimes my sister for breakfast. The food is always yummy & the staff are very friendly. They make one of the best Caramel lattes in Newcastle.

My family and I had breakfast here on Friday morning. Firstly our order was taken by a surly waitress who obviously didn’t want to be there. Food presentation has come a long way, but this cafe is still serving food like we saw 30 years ago. My mushrooms were full of liquid, the scrambled eggs were tasteless and all served with white bread. Coffee might as well have been instant coffee for the taste and fullness of flavour. Do not go here if you’re looking for good food.

Good food, but very noisy. Couldnt talk to each other. Also got a thick shake that came with a straw about 3 mm in diameter. Could suck anything through it

AMAZING COFFEE! Very friendly service, always comes with smiles. Have adapted to covid restrictions wonderfully. Food is always delicious, cant think of anywhere else Id rather meet a friend for a coffee and meal.

A friendly nature from the young lady seating people would go a long way to feeling welcome.I don’t eat deep fried food and when I asked if I could remove the hash brown for something else I was told yes but I would still be charged full price plus the cost of the exchanged item. This is despite the fact that both the hash brown and the replaces item are the same price. I gather your breakfast meals are not all pre prepared??

Went with my mum and dads and because my father doesnt drink coffee and he was asked to leave. Unbelieveable.

Met a friend by chance at Mt Hutton shops, went for lunch, never been anywhere so dam rude by owner and worker, we asked for 3 chairs and they demanded when 3rd friend came they must buy food or drink if they are going to put bum on a seat they said . My girlfriend and I have been going there for many years and I wont be going back , should be morePolite to customers

Good coffe & cake options for that quick cuppa & catchup with a friend or a nice simple fare to choose from for a light lunch or snack. Well worth a visit to this excellent venue, very helpful courteous and friendly staff will assist you in your purchases. Looking forward to the new store @ Lake Fair and enjoy the same quality service from this well established venue.

Pretty poor, slapdash salmon sandwich and our other meal had undercooked chips. However, we were there about 15 mins before the kitchen closed at 3pm.
