Administration should be strict to maintain such history places where swami ji spend time for medication... Even though the stairs are not as much good as sunset point still people who has interest in such historic places they loved to visited and spend some quality time over there...

An out of the itinerary place visited while going up to Toad Rock. Glad to be at the place where Swami Vivekananda stayed and meditated before going to USA for his historic speech. ❣🙂Must stop by. 👍🏻🙂Thanks !! :)

Enroute toad rock climb, this place comes.Looking at the display board only one thing comes after visiting, cleanliness required.The heap of plants and other debris makes it difficult to stay just leave meditating.Else have a look and move on to the mesmerising views and visit to toad rock.

Beautiful place

I adore this place because it is historical! But, after seeing the condition of this place I hate the administration! One place in the southern part of the India i.e. Vivekananda Rock is one of the biggest tourist attraction of India, and this cave can also become a tourist place! I just got sad after visiting! I can only hope if they manage it properly!

You can say very old place to amaze someone, but its not well maintained for tourist purpose. Swami ji meditated here for weeks. They can make this place like peace place for everyone.

The place was in a very bad condition, but written that Swami Vivekananda came here for some time for meditation.

Though the place is in pathetic condition but the moment I come to know that Swami Vivekanand came here i developed a respect for the place.

The cave has a historical significance to it as it was visited by Swami Vivekananda before his visit to Chicago but the condition of the cave isnt good. The surrounding area is damaged by mischevious couples who carved their names and the it is not maintained by the UIT, Abu properly.

Near to Nakki Lake. It was on mountain.

Just one hollow space between two rocks and not well maintained. Although view from this place is awesome.
