The buffet is one of our favorites in town. The food is good. The service can be a little slow at times, but it has never been a real problem for us.

The service was not good and extremely slow.I ordered take out before a movie. I was in a slight rush but figured in the hour I had before the movie I could get a bite to eat. Ordered and was told it would be 30 minutes until my food was ready. It ended up being about 55 minutes. I thought I could quickly scarf down my food before the movie… only to realize after I left that they didn’t give me silverware.

First time at Mount Everest Cafe. I would highly recommend it. Everyone in our party had something different so we all got to share. Each meal was amazing! We cant wait to go back!

Honestly I was not wowed when I walked in, but the food was a wow of its own. Every dish I tried was delicious. They were a little bit slow at refilling items that were low, but overall service was great.

I stumpled across this because of the salad bar sign. I was having batteries rebuild across the street n had a wait time so I walked in.Sooooo glad I did bc I was surprised by nepalese food buffet that was really good. All of it, im a meat eater and couldnt stop getting the eggplant curry w naan! That tandori with homemade hot sauce chicken wing was delish. Not often u stumble across a gem but this place was a great experience. Even the salad lettuce had an earthy taste!

Absolutely terrible service and the food was bland. We walked in were told what table and then left. We were going to order at least two-four drinks, but no one came back to our table. there was a group of 3-4 servers sitting at a table just watching and laughing. Then we were done and someone just dropped off the check. Only reason a tip was left is because we waited 20 minutes to get change.

Well. We were told it would be a 35 minute wait for pickup. Then when we got there they told us we would have to wait an additional 15 minutes. It ended up being an extra half hour. So we waited for over an hour. They did not apologize or offer a discount. It was very unexpected. I don’t think we will return because of price and service.

Meh. Probably some of the worst service I’ve ever had. Not rude or anything, just apathetic and extremely slow. The food was ok, but they didn’t keep the buffet stocked very well and there weren’t many options.

Take-away only right now. It often takes a little longer than they tell you, BUT the food is impossible to top. Love the chicken Biryani, momo dumplings, SAMOSAS (definitively get the samosas)... pretty much everything we’ve ordered there has been delicious. We order from here almost every time we make it up to foco. We just always try to plan for an extra 15-30 minutes wait (I know, but again- totally worth it).

Bad service and long wait times, but the food is really good. I ordered a water which I didnt get until after the food arrived even though they brought my moms chi right away. The food took an hour to get out to us. This place used to have a good lunch buffet before covid, but they have closed that down. The service has gone way down hill from what it used to be.

The girl who took our order was incredibly rude. The restaurant should be embarrassed of her. One of our entrees was not included in our order she lied and said we did not order it, and did not offer to help at all. The pakoras are also not good, there is no variety and it just tastes like raw onion. We were looking forward to supporting a small business on Christmas. Never eating there again.

Mt Everest is an amazing family owned restaurant. They have adapted to covid and offer their menu for to go orders. The Chicken Tikka Masala is my sons favorite and he asks for Everest. They have a variety of lamb, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian options. The samosas and Naan are perfect. You need to try it

Tried it for the first time tonight. Coconut curry and naan were fantastic. I havent tried much indian/nepalese food in FoCo but I can say this place just edges out Bawarchi Biryani, I’ll be coming back for sure. The temperature inside was really cold though.

So the food is great, but the service is just absolutely terrible. It pains me to say that and give a poor review because I really do enjoy the food, but the poor service just leaves me in a bad mood every single time, and I cannot say I have ever gotten good service here. Theres been times where Id have to get up and get more water my self, or walk up to someone and tell them Im ready to pay. Went in today and it took about 10 minutes for someone to give me a menu (I guess the lunch buffet is gone cause of COVID?). The atmosphere was just terrible. There was no music playing so it was painfully quiet and awkward. I saw a guy wait like 10 minutes just to get a box. The couple a few tables down was literally whispering to each other cause it was so quiet. I just left. I already knew it takes forever just for someone to refill your water, so when I had the menu I knew Id be waiting 10-15 minutes just to get my order taken. This place would easily be a 5 star if they had good service, but that is not the case. I just went to Qdoba instead. When I recommend this place to people for their lunch buffet, I always give the disclaimer that their service is absolutely horrible. Cant say I will be returning any time soon though. I hope they can take this constructive criticism and improve, because Id love to give them a 5 star.

It’s just “ok” the chowmein was pretty bland.. tasted like spaghetti noodles with vegetables with a little soy sauce. that’s my favorite dish at Himalayan restaurants & the one from this place was terrible. Everything is overpriced for the quality. If you like spicy or even medium- don’t go here.
