In the year 1943, Morbi Maharaja Saheb Shri Lakhdhirsinhji Saheb constructed Kalika Para Maldhari settlement under Morbi City Improvement Scheme and allotted this land for a mosque for the religious use of Matwa (Muslim) Maldhari community.
