This station was constructed by British government in 1861.. Dharmapuri district people and also thiruvannamalai people use this station.. It is growing nowadays..

This must provide an escalator and lift to cross over the railway tracks and reach the platforms. Why not?We need more trains to stop here. Tirupati, Chennai, Madurai & Coimbatore destinations are preferred.

The Railway Station at morappur is at a distance of 27kms from Dharmapuri. To proceed to Chennai or Coimbatore by train it is a ideal place.

This station always gives me fond memories. It hasnt got much development in amenities as it is asmall station. This station has seen me as student, job seeker, loser, husband. It ia always close to my heart.

On the way between Jolarpettai and Salem small station not much trains stop here
