Always fresh ingredients and well portioned. Tonight we had the Fruitti de Mare and the shrimp and scallop linguini. The escargot was delicious, and we loved the Curry sauce.

This is one of my favourite places in Montreal for a nice and affordable meal. What’s awesome about this restaurant is that it’s is always a three course meal. You start with a Cesar salad, then a chef’s entree and then a pasta and sauce of your choice. It’s affordable and delicious any time you visit. The bathrooms are out of this world with a disco that will leave you dancing. It’s obviously LGBTQ friendly by being in the village but what I loved about this place is that it is surprisingly kid friendly. My niece joined us and she got a salad and a full meal for 12$. (She was presented with a colouring book upon arrival and was giving a juice box with dinner.) The service is out of this world and it’s bring your own wine. You can’t ask for more. I have eaten here easily two dozen times and have never been disappointed.

This restaurant is in the heart of the gay village. Very medium size and cozy atmosphere.They have a fixed menu concept and you get to bring your own wine!!You pay the main course and you get two appetizers (a cesar salad and a second appetizers among three choices). The food is really good. I personally liked the pasta more than the pizza. The pizza isnt baked in a pizza oven and I found that the tomato sauce is very sweet. BUT its still tasty and very affordable.Would definitely visit it again!

Easy location to get to, terrific service by the wait staff, every meal comes with a Caesar salad and then choice of a second starter and then your choice of meal. I had minestrone soup and then Penne with Gigi sauce. The Caesar salad was very good, the soup was spectacular and the pasta was also very good. The bathrooms are definitely something to check out while youre there. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food is very good. I came across this place because another restaurant that I supposed to go was closed. I was cold. This looked like a good place to have some good food. I had zero expectations. The food turned out to be very tasty. The menu is carefully selected by chef. I could feel that the chef is proud of his food and is making sure that every person is satisfied.

Fantastic food in this bring your own bottle Italian inspired restaurant. At first the menu looks limited but actually difficult to make a choice from experimental flavours such as linguine with chicken and dark chocolate or fettucine with Camembert and cherries. All meals are three courses with a tasty Caesar salad to start followed by chefs entree or snails. We went safe and chose the chefs entrees which was grilled vegetables in a delicious sauce. Excellent restaurant. Would heartily recommend and come hungry as youll leave full.

Our second time at this lovely resto , appetizer and salad included , which by the way had the best cesar salad ever . Small romantic atmosphere , I recommend reservations if you want a table up front . We didn’t have one so we sat in the back and enjoyed it very much . The food and deserts are the best in the area . The wait staff friendly and prompt .Thank you boyfriend and I will be back for sure .

The prices are a bit expensive, but it is worth it.There is parking on the street, and you can get there with the subway (Papineau or Berri). Beaudry station is closed until June. You can buy wine at the SAQ close by.

Our first time trying a BYOW restaurant. It was such a pleasent experience, we checked in late but the host was very welcoming and was patient with us until we had finished dining!

We went pretty late, the atmosphere was perfect, calm for a one on one. The service was good, i had too high expectations for the pastas which were ok. I will go back though and i do recommend it.

I have to say a lot about this place, always an experience there.The Menu is very all italian to your liking Pasta Galore....The bathroom is where I have the most fun, I think I was dancing in and out of it, I did not want to leave ! Wakes you up after a heavy meal :) If you like disco the bathroom is the place to be a diva ....

Very friendly place with really good food. The price is well worth what you get for. Staff is really great and friendly, its a bring you own wine so it practical. All in all this is one of the great spot in montreal.

A must on your trip to the Village in Montreal. Some of the best meals we have had, friendly servers, great value, and a good view of all the passer bys on St Catherine as we enjoyed our wine and our meal. It is BYOB, so stop one block west first (on Beaudry) to pick up a bottle of your favorite wine.

Horrible. Not Italian in the least. Its pretentious and almost insulting. For example, the ceasar salad was completely drenched in dressing that I couldnt taste the soggy salad. The dressing tasted like Kraft dressing as well. The croutons were from a box and aside from 3 capetrs in it, I didnt see any resemblance to the true recipe. Shameful for the price and quality, its a far cry from good. Avoid this PLACE! The only thing worth seeing is the washroom... Meh...You cant eat that now can you?The salad had some good flavour, Ill give you that, but was too saturated with dressing. That is as accurate as it gets! I rarely write reviews, but when I do, it is because the food was extrodanary, or in your case, extremely overrated and below average.Good luck!

Delicious three course meal and awesome service!

Unfortunately, both the price and the compulsory 3 course meal (yes, yes) were not good news for me. The escargots tasted ok, though I found the caesar salad to be very basic for the price (it felt like something added just to rise the price of the menu). Wouldnt go again.

How I love this restaurant! It makes me happy every time I go. The service is always impeccable and we spend a memorable time with friends. They made a few small changes to the menu, but nothing too confusing, you should find their good old classics there. For vegetarians, the goat / port pasta is simply delicious.

5 star service. Impeccable menu. Only downside: we sometimes have to deal with noisy customers. Otherwise, original restaurant (disco toilet) and always delicious.

Disappointed with the seafood pasta. Before the covid I was often going to eat this particular dish which was at the time a pure delight but last Sunday I returned after months of absence and I was disappointed that the sauce of this dish was replaced by a sauce rosé that tastes the same as that from costco in a large pot. Only 3 shrimp, 3 small pentoncles on my plate which looked like a rosé sauce soup more than anything else.On the other hand, the service is always impeccable 👍

I love this little bring your own wine pasta restaurant that I have frequented regularly for over 25 years. The relaxed bistro atmosphere is really nice. The entire menu here is table dhôte and all the dishes are hearty and delicious. The snails served as a starter are always excellent. They have great desserts too, and if you really want to pay the treats try the peanut butter cheesecake served with salted popcorn. A delight! In addition, the staff are really warm and anxious to please the customers. I recommend!

The tiramisu is the big disappointment of the evening. Reported to the waitress (nice) but without any real attempt at recovery. Replacing the dessert with the same dessert does not make you want to continue.The pot returned to the kitchen after 2 spoonfuls less, and yet charged $ 8. The establishment and the prices offered are very attractive. However, the chef has had no inspiration for many years. The dishes that are offered in this category have not changed for at least 5 years (as the rest of the menu for that matter). I have already suggested it several times to the servers as well as once directly to the owner without being heard apparently ...In certe cooking there is no longer any idea but what is really a shame now is that the cooks are bored. The dishes served are getting worse and worse. Spicy, without being advertised as such. The pasta bathed in the sauce, as if the latter had been garoché on the plate.Yes the atmosphere is nice, yes the restaurant was still full but is this a reason to give little importance to what we serve? Do we have to wait for the deserted clientele to wake up! Unfortunately when this happens its too late. I hope that you will straighten the management of the kitchen and continue the success that the place deserves. (date of visit February 21, 2020)

Everything was great! Our server Cantin, was excellent! I loved the bathrooms dancing !! The most fun pee of my life! The food was very good, I had the chicken linguini and crisp bacon! Caesar salad was fresh and the sauce was delicious. In short, I loved my experience! Or will definitely return!

It is a restaurant that stands out for its concept entirely: Table dhôte. The food is honest, the service very correct (casual but effective). In addition it is a Bring your own wine. So, unpretentious .. but hey! I recommend it.

Mozza has lost a lot. If the ingredients, flavors, and presentation were once impeccable, today the Pollo Limone tastes zero lemon and the Carbonara has a Swiss Night fondue aftertaste. Its not worth the price anymore. Too bad, because it was a good address.

The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp with just enough vinaigrette, the minestrone was super tasty and the fettucine camembert and chicken as well as the Oka linguine and chocolate were ABSOLUTELY delicious! No chance to try the desserts because more hungry!And what about toilets? The most funky in Canada if not the world! A safe bet in the village!

Ive been attending Mozza in Montreal for several years now. I live in Boston and I never miss the opportunity to go there every time I visit Montreal. This is my favorite restaurant. The decor is nice, the cuisine superb and the service friendly and very efficient even during peak summer periods. Its really worth the detour. Do not miss!!!! Excellent evening spent with family and friends for the party to my sister. Good meal, beautiful atmosphere, excellent service from our server Philippe. However, it would be nice to have at least more light at the tables because there is so much light when the sun goes down. Too dark for such a nice restaurant. But apart from that, we all enjoyed our evening at Mozza. 😉👍
