Really good coffee and nice place overall! I really appreciate if they could add some sandwiches 😉
So how can I review this place fairly? Basics .... rarely have I given a place 5* , 2 days in a row , Saturday and today Sunday ....I visited in order to buy whole beans that are so flavorful, from the moment I step into any restaurant / cafe I usually look at what is happening behind the counter , 2 Baristas in complete control of the line up and flow of service , despite the fact they are wearing masks , you can see they love what they do , at a point the line up reaches the entrance , Barista/ receiving orders person , calmly aknowledges that the line is getting longer , again calmly but efficiently takes the orders and while she is multi tasking , I am pretty amazed by the skills these 2 young ladies had , I hope the owners are aware of this /unless they were the owners . Service is about executing orders /tasks efficiently while providing a good experince , which is very rare to experince in Montreal .
The place was a very nice inside, it was clean and had relatively friendly staff. That being said, the coffee itself was lackluster and overly sour. Coffee quality being the most critical metric I rated this place a 2. If you like their coffee the place is really nice and they give you sparkling water as a pallet cleanser
I havent even been to a Dispatch Coffee cafe yet but I was tired of buying supermarket coffee beans and took a chance last fall on three bags of whole bean from various origins/small growers. The coffee sourced by Dispatch is PHENOMENAL.Being somewhat of a coffee fiend, I now receive 6 bags per month with Dispatch subscription and havent been disappointed yet. Each and every month when I receive my coffee, Im delighted to see that it was roasted just a couple of days before arriving at my door. There is just no substitute for coffee when it is of this high quality and fresh.
Good coffee products here. But when the WiFi was down and I asked is the modem was still on, the answer I got was Were not a library here. So if the internet is down theres not much I can do...
The staff could be friendlier and if they choose to not work in pandemic then they shouldn’t. But don’t make customers feel bad about entering the store and ordering…
A nice coffee shop with their own line of coffee made locally. The interior is designed minimally but the service from the barista really warms up the place. They have a lil potted plant for the pronouns of the barista working that day which I find cute and pretty considerate actually. As a more tea minded individual i’ll drink coffee once in a while, for the aesthetic but this particular place made me rethink that principle. I really enjoyed their latte… it tasted like coffee, like actual caféine but it was quite smooth, I enjoyed that. Also the milk alternative they have is Oat milk.Overall really good experience I might be a coffee drinker now.
Every time I pass by I try to make a point to stop in, the coffee is always good and visually its one of the more unique spaces the city has to offer. I like how coffee education is such a huge part of what they do since its something so many of us drink every day it makes sense to know about what were consuming. Im also very on board with and appreciate their transparency as a business.
Great service. fast and good price
The staff here is so friendly!!! The coffee was (of course) very tasty. Glad I went after a year of getting their instagram ads
Great cafe in the Plateau. Dispatch has a great atmosphere and location with tasty coffee. I got the espresso and it featured a strong full-bodied floral explosion of flavour. Theres plenty of open space and seating area. Internet is a bit slow, but its probably because its usually busy. Definitely recommended. Bonus is they serve sparkling water!
Great shop with a large selection of single origins and blends. The baristas are always welcoming and knowledgeable. Every roast Ive tried has been delicious and complex.
Friendly and nice place to do some work on the tablesVery nice cold brew
What an incredible service! I went today for first time to buy some beans and I was very warmly welcomed and given info about their coffees. By accident I almost bought decaf and I noticed thanks to them just before paying for it, so glad that I didnt make that error. Would definitely recommend!
The coffee and atmosphere were great.
The cappuccino was very good and well made.....
Dispatch is probably the best cafe you can go to if you are looking to encourage a better world. Their mission and vision is what we need! Quality, sustainability, inclusivity, and so much more! Bonus = their coffee is DELICIOUS especially their oat milk flat white.I also love to have my Dispatch coffee beans at home for a quick coffee fix. If you need help with your coffee choice (and or at home tips) the barista will be more than happy to help you out.Ive always had an awesome experience. Thanks Dispatch!Cannot wait to sip my next Dispatch coffee!
Oh-so-pricy, but oh-so-delicious coffee. I had ordered a latte with oat milk and the taste was so deep, roasty, round and toasty, much different than the average franchise level stuff (do these adjectives even mean anything?). So for the non believers out there, yes there is a noticeable difference in quality of the beans. overall is good
Cool, modern, and spacious coffee shop with plenty of seating along window ledge as well as rows of work tables for work and hang out. Staff are great, and the drinks are nicely prepared and solid. Merchandise for purchase is also available for those wanting to up their game at home. A perfect place to enjoy a cup and wind down.
Coffee was ok, Barista was very rude
Best coffee in town, with friendly service and horrible decor
Nice quality Americano served by a nice person? What else could you ask for (aside from a seat if it wasnt for this pandemic)? Recommended spot for coffee lovers.
Great coffee and ready-made food to snack on! The staff was always friendly to me and would compliment my outfits, which was of course an ego boost. Its absolutely swarming with people on weekends so its hard to get a seat, but it was a great place to go on weekday nights to listen to good music and get some work done. The seating, although aesthetically pleasing, is definitely not made to sit on for long periods of time without your rear end going numb, perhaps a conscious choice to stop us students from loitering. Overall a great place (despite the $5 eating up most of my weekly budget)!
Good, simple coffee. Cold brew is ace.
Passed by here to grab a quick coffee. Guy who served me was friendly and let me know that they didn’t have any plastic cups for cold drinks so he gave me a normal paper cup which is totally fine. One of the best oat-milk lattee I’ve ever had. Totally recommend this place for a quick grab and go, as they only have one table available.
Best Coffee Roasters in the city. Great open concept cafe.
Very spacious inside with widely spread out tables. I felt pretty safe inside, given the pandemic restrictions. Friendly barista and tasty mocha! A bit pricy though.
Super cool vibe at this coffee shop. The baristas are very nice and down to earth.
Great coffee shop. They care about their suppliers and farmers and the result is great coffee.
Excellent coffee and friendly service.
I really had a great time there.
These guys are really dedicated to their coffee and it shows. Being a coffee nerd myself, I was really impressed when I noticed that they weighed out each shot. The cafe also has a unique layout that can accommodate any group.

My intention for writing this mail to inform you that I am a freelance professional SEO expert and I can help you to make your listing get verified. If you want to know more then reply me back asap. A bit expensive but their coffee is really great and they have an amazing mocha!
Super friendly service with great coffee. Price is reasonable for a higher standard of coffee. Environment is minimalist and quiet. Good place to study and chill!
Lovely coffee and lovely staff! Really nice atmosphere. Great big windows looking onto the street. The seating isnt super comfy - wood booths and benches.
A service business not interested in service... how is it these places survive? Refused to make a classic cappuccino brevé. They have half and half (10%) and suggested I could put it in myself, cold😳 Dispatch should indeed be dispatched from Montreals list of respected espresso establishments.
My new Google phone popped a window asking me to leave a review after I visited Dispatch Coffee.I hadnt realized it was possible to add stars on a map like this.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I enjoyed being at Dispatch Coffee. Im a regular. Im grateful for the sunlight coming in and the people making the coffee.Alexis
Coffee is okay, service also just okay. Pastries are clearly left over from yesterday. Knowledge of simple traditional espresso drinks is very limited. The reviews and inflated prices do not reflect the quality of product and service youll recieve here.
The design of the coffee shop is stunning. Its an ambitious project because it offers a new coffee shop experience where the customer can ask the barista about anything—kind of like an info desk or Apple Genius Bar.In my opinion, they dont serve the tastiest coffee but I really respect the way the owner grew her business while remaining true to her values. Dispatch brews and retails their own coffee. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, which is awesome.
Very neat coffee place. Their drip coffee is definitely worth the wait. Staff is helpful. There arent many places to sit; especially with individuals who bring their laptops to work.
Atmosphere is really nice. They offer you water even for take out which is nice. Unfortunately, my latte wasnt good at all. It had a very strange taste, either their milk is not typical one or someone gave me a soy milk (I asked for diary, standard milk).
Great store in a great location and super helpful staff! Try the ice cream!
My latte was perfect, but my bfs drip coffee was way too bitter/burnt for him. The whole place has a really cool industrial-minimalist look that would be great to work in, and their mugs and products are cool.
Ordered an oat milk latte and its one of the creamiest, silkiest lattes Ive ever had. Love it! They are currently open during covid-19 and only accepting 1 client at a time, hand sanitizer as you come in and cards only.We decided to purchase a few bags of beans from their online store and unfortunately our package was lost by UPS. Dispatchs customer service was SO helpful, they investigated and solved our issue quickly. I am VERY impressed with their customer service!
The best coffee in this location! Thank you!
Really wonderful atmosphere and fantastic service. My latte was a bit more milky than Im used to, but still tasty. Would love to come here again and try more of what they have.
Great coffee, responsibly sourced and served in a cafe with minimalistic contemporary decor
Ordered both a latte and a cortado, both were excellent. Service was courteous and quick. Seating is functional, could be a bit more comfortable.
Great coffee, friendly service and cute minimalistic looking space. They have a couple of vegan food options (breakfast bowl, salads, brownies) that look pretty tasty. My only complaint is about the leaky lids on the to-go cups. Probably an easy fix :)
Awesome place! Great coffee and desserts. Very affordable too. The space is open concept, modern and kind of minimalist. Very roomy, and very easy on the eyes.
Great coffee . . . Lots of empty space and concrete. . . Very useful spot for any event at all i.e. taking mum out for coffee, seeing an old pal, a date or even a cheeky lone mission. Great big booth space to sit down on, this is the kind of coffee spot you can stay for a while
The best latte I have ever had. amazing seating arrangement. Different from usual cafes. A place where you can sit for hours and study.
Amazing lattes. The best I had in Montreal. Definitely took some beans home with me.
These people are passionate about good coffee and it shows. Great attention to detail and care. The minimalist shop itself is effortlessly cool without being obvious about it. Try the cold brew!
Its a nice place to meet people. The decor is off-putting at first but you get used to it. The wifi speed is pretty decent if you want to get any work done.
Wonderful cafe with friendly, knowledgeable baristas. I love their approach to sourcing great coffee. Perfect spot for a quick work meeting as well.
Charming place thats modern and decorated to pose as a shipping container on the inside, the cladding resembles the corrugated wall as well as the inner columns.Coffee is good though I was not particularly impressed with their flat white, it tasted more like a Macchiato than a creamy flat, but the quality of the infusion is there 😉
Coffee beans are pretty pricey and mine where not very fresh, despite a Sept 15 roasting date printed on the package (purchased on the 24th).
Minimalist interior, and an array of coffee brewing systems: Dispatch is a really fun space. A great place for catching up with friends, or getting work done. I had an espresso, which was pretty tasty. 👍
Disappointing... had a $4 Cappuccino which was baby sized lol almost the size of an espresso shot in a tiny little cup that looks like a kids play cup. blob of latte art on top.Great place if you like hipster Vibe. not a great place if you want a good coffee :/
Unique ambience - industrial look, with lots of sunlight and flexible seating. Convenient place for conversation over coffee or tea. Coffee enthusiasts will likely enjoy the taste.
Excellent variety of in house roasted coffee the Guatemala roasts are some of the best Ive had. Friendly and passionate in what they do.
I usually by my coffee here and grind it at home. The coffee is great.
Great coffee, sterile atmosphere. They tried too hard to have a minimalist look and as a result the seating is very uncomfortable and the aesthetic is bland. Also, the music is always too loud. Feels more like a club than a coffee shop sometimes, and it drains the life out of you if you sit there for too long. Great coffee.
A little bit disappointment... The decor is not exactly my cup of tea but its good for work. Coffee was a little bit pricey and my latte too milky. Very nice staff.
Trendy coffee place with seating. Good variety of high end coffees for the discerning palate. They do pour overs with an aeropress and sell beans as well.
5$ for a watery undersized cafe late. I would have gotten a better, cheaper coffee if I had gone to Tim Hortons. Guess I was paying for the hipster factor
Great coffee! Among the best Ive had in mtl. Nice atmosphere. Good location for people watching
This place does a great job with their coffee and seems popular but its too bad they only have one bathroom. There was only one person ahead of me in the bathroom line and they took 10 minutes. When I left there was a line for the bathroom 6 people long.
First time checking out this location, great coffee and very knowledgeable staff. Very patient, pleasant and open about talking about coffee. Definitely gets my #coffeebroout bonus points
Great Lattes and the barista I saw is one of the best Ive seen. However, I heard that the espresso varies depending on whos making it so you might luck out.The decor is minimalist bordering on a hospital ward and the seating is just uncomfortable. This is St Laurent blvd so parking is a pain.
I have a meticulous espresso setup at home, so I usually walk in a coffee shop skeptical. They have great coffee with a good range of different roasts. Try the Aeropress brew method.
Pretty good cafe with neat design. I got a cortado that was decent but not at the level Ive experienced elsewhere in Montreal. Interior is hot and seating not very comfortable.
What Chrissy and her team have built here is more than another pretty cafe- its a thoughtful space. From the staff saying hello when you enter, to their knowledge of the products and ingredients to the offer of sparking water while you wait for your coffee, this atmosphere of this space is intentional.Oh yeah, and the coffee rocks, too!
Great coffee, trendy minimalist interior, young staff could be a tad warmer I find. Still recommend the place.
Dispatch is growing up, and its well-deserved! As always, they roast and serve excellent coffee. The cement bench is smart when you want to avoid the invasion of laptop...
Really good coffee. Nice lay out. Lovely staff.
