First off, if youre looking for great quality womens clothing, they have the best!! The staff is really friendly as well! Just a note, if looking for furniture, it goes super fast!

This store had a great selection of different things: dog toys, furniture, books, and clothes galore! Only reason for 4/5 stars...it was difficult to find shirt sizes. Instead of separating by color, I think it would be much better to separate the clothes by sizes! It would help the customers alot!!

Five Stars for Wrene @ the Monroe Goodwill!!! She is always so willing to help & has such a delightful personality!! Always makes me smile when I see her there!! Now, Monroe Goodwill in general, their prices are more than the item was brand new half the time!! Theyll mark a $.99 plastic tray from Walmart for $2.99!!! So annoying. Theyd sell so much more stuff if theyd mark things lower...or even reasonably in some cases!

They have a wide variety of styles, sizes and all very good quality! The shoe selection is fairly large, clothing items clearly displayed, friendly staff and will be back for the great finds at great prices.

Great store. It just needs to cater more to men. It was primarily aimed at women with clothes and shoes.

I dont mind rounding up for the change shortage, but debit and credit have nothing to do with that. This is just greed.

Clothes are in good condition for the most part. The cashiers dont seem to know the difference between sweaters and outerwear though as they repeatedly try to charge outerwear price for a hooded sweatshirt. When my wife points out their mistake they just say shes wrong. Is this a southern thing, where one doesnt know the difference between a coat and a sweater? They are in fact different.

Dont ever take your kids there!!! If you do, do not keep them out of your sight! Men come in there in groups of 2 or 3. They wander separately around the store for a few minutes, following unsuspecting children and mothers. Then they leave and another group comes in to do the same. My girls and I were just in there, a young lady warned me we were being followed. Waiting to check out I witnessed this operation! Please keep your kids safe!

I always find something great at the Goodwill. I went there to donate and then popped in to shop. I found this beautiful French framed painting of Gigi from one of my favorite movies. Soir de Paris Bourjois. I donated about a thousand music CDs here and a bunch of household goods. I decided to go in and check out what they might have. I got this dress with tags were brand new. I also got a really cute seahorse maxi dress and a cute military camo jacket.

Dont ever buy anything you dont test. They wont return or give you store credit.Update: the store manager did give me store credit and said will do the right thing. I was about to walk out with a paperweight.

I love to come to Monroe- Goodwill. It’s the best looking goodwill in the area. Cashiers, Marneisha & Jose are always so very friendly & helpful when I come in. They always keep a smile on their face & make my visit 100x better.

Leave it to the two guys to load your furniture in the middle of the rain place a tarp and strap it down for you. Definitely coming back to shop again .

Took a full truck load of good stuff. Kids toys good electronics. They were to busy whining about the dust on everything. They were in a shed. They didnt even get to the flat screen tvs and video games. They didnt want to have to clean I guess. Ill take to someone who will appreciate. I understand some people probably bring trash up there. They were being lazy. Im glad I didnt give them all the real nice stuff I had in the back seat. They went back in before I could even show them.

My wife and I were in line yesterday evening when we overheard two cashiers making fun of a young lady who was checking out. This took place in the presence of her small child. They were pretty rude; laughing and talking negatively about her loud enough for us to hear when there were several people in front of us so I know the mother and daughter had to of heard also.We felt we had to bring this to your attention, and we will not be shopping here again in the future!

Ive been going in there for several years. Its clean and the help is friendly The selection is good as well as the condition of most everything.

One of my favorite places!!! I love the variety of things here. The store is one of the cleaner, nicer, goodwills that I have visited. They do a great job of bringing things out from the back frequently for people to purchase. My only complaint is that it seems like the prices keep creeping up. I hate that some things are WAY overpriced. I mean, come on.... these things were donated.... FREE!!!! I have seen things from the DOLLAR STORE.... priced at $5 and $6!!! And $1 matchbox cars.... for $3 and $4 each!!!

I do a lot of shopping at Goodwill. We were traveling and stopped at this one. No color of the week and sale, clothes color coordinated but not size sorted, & a very limited amount of clothes, books and housewares. It is marked do not return for me.*Note- I got a response (See below. I couldnt find a way to respond to his comment.)from the District manager explaining how this area sells their items. I will take his suggestions and give them another try when we come back through this area. I appreciate his thorough explanation.

Medium sized store with good selection. My only complaint is their clothing isnt organized in any way other than perhaps color. It is necessary to look at every item to find a size. I just dont have the time or patience.

Usually don’t review but I thought this deserved one. The other day I was visiting my mother in Monroe NC . I decided to stop in the goodwill on my way because of course she loves little knick nacks. While I was looking around a cashier called for a manager , it didn’t take long before a young lady came out, she was being so polite to the customer asking about a price change even though the woman was getting upset. When ever she was walking back she greeted me and asked if there was anything she could help me with , she even took a few minutes to help me look for a water bottle before she was called again. The store looked really nice and I know it doesn’t sound like much but the whole experience was pleasing . I didn’t get a look at her name tag ,unfortunately, but she was young with short blonde hair.I definitely will be dropping in again while visiting .

This Goodwill is okay. The employees are always friendly. Although, I do think sometimes a few of them get over zealous with the pricing gun. I prefer the Goodwill on Johnston Rd. in Ballantyne, there is always great finds in there! Check it out sometime.

We Do Not shop here anymore!Electronics are ALWAYS non-functional (after weve been reassured the items work).Most dont have power cords so after we get them home, order the cord and it finally gets delivered its too late to return said broken item (only give 7 daus). Weve lost way too much money! And, Goodwill is the worst when it comes to Customer Service... They dont care, just all about making money. They already charge more for the merchandise than most of it is worth Brand New!One item costed us $50! A motorized car that we were promised worked, the cord was the wrong one and most likely damaged the power circuit as they had it charging (or short charging, because it takes a minimum of 8 hours. (New power cord $15)Horrible store and I dont like what they stand for (definitely not what they claim to!) : (Did you see the post about them refusing to sell a man work boots because his voucher didnt cover the full amount (extremely overpriced to begin with!) another customer paid the difference, the store didnt give a D@mn about the man! 😢Truth is the truth!

Since this location first opened we have been regular shoppers but the management should really rethink their pricing, as well as cashiers. Some of the girls are very sweet but lately Ive noticed a lot more of them dont seem to have any customer service skills. everytime you go to this store there are a lot of hispanics letting there 20 kids run around like hoodlums unless you go at certain times.

Messy, dirty, and items are rarely checked. Often, one can find dirty, broken, and overused items, out of place. Walking in, one sniff or glance, will cause you to immediately do a 180° turn back into the parking lot (which is also unkempt and disgusting).

It feels smaller than the Old Goodwill in Monroe but it is very clean and always busy.
