They brought in a professional team, quick, and efficient. They kept everything very clean and organized. They even touched up items with paint that were not their responsibility. So that everything on roof looked consistent new and great. The metal trim they kept straight and it wasn’t wavy. Excellent work and value!!

State roofing replaced a broken gutter and installed new decking on the full length of our home. We had an excellent experience with all the people we worked with. Paul Nelson organized the work and gave us a drawing for the deck plan as well as a detailed estimate. The deck workers, Nicolai and Mike, showed up promptly each morning and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were were very clear on what they were going to do and courteous to both me and my husband. The deck was beautiful.The gutter workers had no trouble replacing the broken gutter and even fixed an existing drainage problem.I would definitely recommend state roofing.

Last year, State Roofing installed a new roof for us. Most recently Nikolai and his crew did a fantastic job replacing our backyard deck from the ground up. The quality for both are second to none.

I had a metal roof installed 6 years ago and had a leak during recent high winds and heavy rains. I called State Roofing since the roof came with a lifetime warranty. I learned that the company is under new ownership, but they were able to find my warranty information and did honor it. It took a little time to work out the problem (no doubt with the winds and rain they were busy) but eventually it appears the issue is resolved, and Im confident that should there be future issues with the roof State Roofing will take care or them.

It was the busy season, so we waited a while for the install, but once they got us scheduled, they were here, on time and got right to work. Could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone we dealt with were courteous, competent, and just all around nice. It is a pleasure to deal with people who know what the are doing!!

I am a contractors daughter and looked at several bids before I picked State Roofing. I picked the 50year product in part for the warrantee. State Roofing will come out and repair or replace for the next 50 years. In theory I will not have to worry about a new roof again. They did a great job at installing no overruns or surprises. Once your house is being worked on the process is swift. A crew will come out and do tear off. A different one will put on the roof tiles. Overall a good experience.

Dont answer the phone and when you fill in their online form to request a quote for a roof replacement they send a form letter out saying theyll get back to you. But they dont!! Either they are too busy or they dont want the work.

The new blue metal roof with standing seams commands your attention when entering our drive. Our new garage metal roof is a piece of art. It is a single smooth curved piece of blue metal shaped a little like a ski jump ramp. Lance, Brad and Loren tamed a difficult intersection of the old garage roof and an irregular shaped roof of a different slope on the attached building by constructing an unsymmetrical cricket to blend the two roofs into a single smooth curve of continuous metal roofing while eliminating the potential leak of the intersection of the two flat roofs. They were pleasant to work with and left our property cleaner than when they came.

We had state roofing do our house with euroshake roofing March 2019. Their team from sales, scheduling, install, etc was extremely professional and did a great job. Arriving on time daily and cleaning up everything every day they worked. Highly recommended.

Highly Recommended! I decided to go with State Roofing to replace my asphalt roof with a metal standing-seam roof. It was clear after doing a bit of research, State Roofing is a top-notch company. State Roofing is safety driven, efficient, courteous, and professional.Within one day the roof was off and the underlayment on. There was a lot of care given to protecting the siding, hot tub, and plants during the tear down. I was also very impressed with the crew’s diligence on a thorough clean-up after every work day! If you didn’t look at the partially finished roof you wouldn’t have been able to tell they were there!When the sheet metal crew showed up to cut and lay the roof, they were courteous, informative and professional. The foreman, Jon, made it a point to chat with me about the process and address any concerns I may have. He answered all my questions and identified a potential problem area on a section of facia. He offered to put up a custom section of metal. State Roofing is great! Our deck demo and replacement was done quickly and efficiently with no fuss or hassle for us! Craftsmanship on our new deck is first rate and we are very happy with the results. All employees were very personable and easy to work with, and all work was done when promised.

I asked for a bid from State Roofing, along with 2 other companies, to replace my roof. State Roofing was the only one that scheduled to come by without me having to take time off of work. Daryl inspected the roof and sat in my home with me for quite some time going over all the options we had. State was the only company that was honest about being able to do a layover (I had very little damage on my plywood) and Daryl was very up front about all the financing options available. I chose State Roofing but ended up not being able to do it because of some other financial issues that came up, but State Roofing went out of their way to make sure I didnt have to pay the restocking fees for the material when I told them. Compassion is rare today. State Roofing is a good company run by great human beings. You have won my business and once I am more stable financially Ill come back! Thank you!

We had the worst experience with State! We contracted with them to get our siding replaced. Our sales experience was great, but once the contract was signed we never heard from them! Our install was delayed but no one ever called to keep us up to date or returned our many calls- except Mary in Payroll! They finally came to complete the work, 90 days past schedule! The company they subcontract with, Alside, was fabulous. Skip right over State and head straight to them.

Having waited 20 years to put a new roof on my house, I am glad I picked State Roofing to do the work. I was in awe of how Brad and his crew performed. We were trying to decide whether to build an addition or just remodel our existing house. We ask for two bids. 1. Existing house only. 2. Including the Addition. We explained this over the phone when setting up the appointment and again in person. Met with the sales rep and he seemed nice, (but did down talk any product from other companies as someone else noted in another review). He said he would have the bids for me the next day.The next morning, I wanted to confirm some information and ask some questions* What type of Underlayment will be used (type and brand if synthetic)* How do you prevent water leakage through the membrane - are you using Rubberized Cap Nails?* Will you use Kick Out step lashing at the sidewalls near the gutters* How many squares are you estimating?* We want at least 4 Permanent roof anchors left (two on existing and two on addition)* Cut Badge Boards back to roof joists (currently they are damaged where the water ran down the roof - extend fascia and gutters to the end of Badge Board) - see attached pictureHis ReplySounds like you have a installation methodology that you are comfortable with at this time. I spoke with our production manager and reviewed your scope of work and we have determined that this is not a project that we would be interested in quoting.Sounds more like he doesnt want to work with a customer who wants to know what they are going to do. If we were going to spend $20k+, I think that warrants asking a few questions. I think we avoided a big mistake by working with them.Do not use them.

The salesman represented the product accurately and professionally. The roof crews (tear down and installers) were professional, thoughtful, considerate and conducted themselves in an outstanding manner. The job was done actually and in the promised period of time. The product is top rate as are the crew.

We hired State Roofing because their price was competitive. It was a mistake all around. Cori the office manager was rude and wouldnt let me get a word in the conversation. This should have been my first clue. After they started the install a week late, not due to weather, the crew had no supervision until I called and requested Cipriano the foreman whom i never saw on site to review the faulty install areas. After several times of calling them back to fix what they obviously installed wrong, my neighbor noticed an entire ridge wasnt shingles properly. Ive remodeled 6 houses and never been treated as a second class citizen like they treat their customers. The customer is wrong , and they are always right. GOOD LUCK, BEWARE. YOU TOO CAN BE YOUR OWN GENERAL CONTRACTOR WITH STATE ROOFING.

So we had a leak in our shake roof and it looked like a mess. In fact there was a massive hole after some great weather we received. We called State Roofing and they were at our house on the roof within a half an hour. We live in deep Mukilteo. Kevin Smith was our contact and he was able to assess and give us a plan in no time. Super friendly and extremely knowledgeable as we were now going to transition from shake to presidential comp. there was a lot of work to be done and within no time the shake was gone and a new roof was up. We had a lot of different pitches and areas that needed to be updated and they were great with communicating and informing us of each step in the process. I could not thank this company and Kevin enough as they not only saved us a headache down the road but also educated us along the way. We bought them lunch a few times as they were working hard and it looked exhausting. It was the least we could do for their attentiveness to our needs. They were Fast, efficient, clean and filled our expectations as a great company with a proven track record. When shopping around we found other prices, deals,etc but we also found that the companies were not in business as long as State Roofing and we would want full support for the next 30 years on our roof. State Roofing is a very skilled and professional company. They recently installed a new Euroshake roof for us. Euroshake is an excellent material, but, since its difficult to install, very few companies can tackle it. State Roofing did a great job of taking off the old roof and especially of installing the new one. Their chief installer was a master at his craft.State Roofings project management was good too. The materials arrived just when needed and all the old material was promptly hauled away with no mess.We presented them with an interesting customer-service challenge. During the weekend (when they werent working), we were hit with gales and torrential rain (over 3). State Roofing visited us both Saturday and Sunday to address any problems that the dreadful weather may have caused. We were grateful for that, because its disconcerting to be hit by unexpected gales in the middle of a roofing project.There are lots of fly-by-night roofing companies out there. My advice: go with a sound, established one like State Roofing. Its worth it.

State Roofing replaced the roof on our house in spring 2015. This year (2019) just 4 years later, we had some leaks and called them for warranty coverage. We called several times and talked to several different people, all of whom said the warranty person was busy and would call me back. We never heard back from them.
