Always enjoy treasure hunting at VV. This last time was no exception. My wife Pat has been wanting a stand-up cabinet for the one corner of our dining room.I recommended to Pat that we go check VV (Value Village). Her being reluctant I reminded her it was old folks day and I get 30% off. I also reminded her how they are always bringing something in everyday. Theres always something new.Sure enough the very day Pat made her request about that cabinet, VV had one in that very day.I had grabbed a lift dolly from their back room and was all ready to wheel it up front when one of their stock men came to ask if he could help. I let him know I had it. He let me know I could simply pay up front and hed wheel the cabinet out the side door where I could drive right up to it.That worked great. He wrote up the bill. We paid up front and then drove over to the side door.Cabinet fit tight width wise in our car. Back end stuck out but I only had to use our tie down strapping to hold the back door hatch in place and all was good.

BEYOND OVER PRICED!!!!! You can get new same stuff from Walmart. I was told by cashier that they buy all their items so that’s why their prices were raised ( so when I dropped off a load of donations I wasn’t paid anything? I was given a 20 %off coupon but would still have to make a purchase , total rip off!!!!THE ONE BRIGHT SPOT WAS COLE( extremely polite and helpful young man who took our donations!Callie village should be ashamed!!

When I go to Value Village I am usually looking for books. They had a good supply of books and everything was neat and orderly. Found over $100 worth of books to take home. At times I look at the glassware, etc on my way in. I have seen a lot of good things that I might have purchased but I have more than enough of my own things. When I do shop for clothes they are usually well presented, neat and on hangers. I have bought a lot of clothes from there.

Very well organized and tidy store. My wife was able to find a massive haul of clothes at a fraction of the regular prices found in other stores. Would recommend to anyone looking for brand name, sometimes hardly worn clothing. While Value Village sometimes gets a bad rap for clothing prices, if you are looking for kids clothes, this is the place to go. A whole bag of cloths for $10 is a steal!

TOTALLY OVER PRICED..Wanted 5 USED BOOKS....$40....Not happening in my lifetime..Obviously not a charity shop as most are now privately owned by American owners..Its a simple matter of price gouging..completely unfair to people who have been & are still grappling with a pandemic.. Hopefully these shops will go under & Non Profit will reap the benefit, & in turn Customers!!!

It seems Value Village management has no concern for Canadian Charter of Rights and our Constitution... not only that, but are extremely rude. ANYONE with a medical exemption. Across CANADA, has the right NOT to wear a mask. Being abused and singled out by staff is harassment and also against the Human Rights of Canada and New Brunswick.Odd that it is just this one store... as I have been treated with respect in other Provinces.

Prices are very high for a thrift store, some even higher than retail value. Not worth the stop unless youre looking for something specific, quality of articles for sale have increased however the prices reflect, you need to know your prices to save any money over buying new. Staff is very friendly and the reason why I cant justify rating lower

Better than salvation Army...they allow toys and are not uptight ...some prices of clothes are the same as Urban planet even higher but I love the well stocked store in every category. The cashier was genuinely happy and a friendly help. I will rarely go to salvation Army thrift store. I chose the Value Village where I am treated with value while finding numerous items . They offer every category for my personal need or want on any day. They are set apart from other stores because they are very friendly, quick to respond, strong in maintaining organization and I left feeling valued as a customer even though it was the busiest time of year with alot of safety and hygiene protocols;they managed to have impacted my shopping experience with a desire to value there store with my time and money more often.

Dropped off about 1000 books during covid. Linen-like bins you see in hospitals were along lane marked with cones you parked at. Employee came out when we drove over black cable, but he said he couldnt help us due to covid, so we spent about 15-20 minutes emptying the car into 2 big bins. He gave us a discount card for next visit, which I gave to a charity. Process was painless except for labour to put books in the bins.

Somethings are just so ridiculously over priced. Donated items shouldnt be top tier prices. A used winter jacket selling for $40 is a bit excessive. Some things are great, but if it has a Name Brand on it, they over charge WAY too much. And with Covid and not being able to try anything on, they should be offering refunds (tags still attached of course) not strictly store credit. Id much sooner go to Frenchys as the merchandise is just as good and at a fraction of the prices charged here at Value Village

Ive been going to thrift stores like Value Village for many years now. Over the past few their prices have gotten very high at every location Ive been to. I highly recommend Missions thrift store and Guys Frenchies for price over Value Village. Guys Frenchies is very close by and Missions is also in Moncton. Though the prices at Value Village arent always awful, I believe theyve lost sight of what a second hand store is supposed to be. Ive found things here used that were cheaper unused.

A well organized thrift store. If you dig deep there are certainly some bargains go to be found. Though some items are retail or even over priced, you can be sure on average you are going to save on a lot of things. Great place to go and pick up a few books as well if youre the reading type as they are organized by category and always reasonably priced. Also a great stop in if its near Halloween as they have a large section of costumes that opens up seasonally that is fairly priced for all budgets.
