Brutal service. It took over 45 minutes to get an old fashioned and a Coors light. Bottle. Its bourbon and bitters, and a bottle cap to open. An acquaintance ordered a cappuccino, which looks like it comes in a glass on the menu, which then came out in a to-go cup. The staff are terrible, and have no sense of urgency. Never again. Find somewhere else. Overpriced and not worth it.
Chole chawal was dry. Over heated rice in a microwave. Chole mixed with raw onions, tomatoe paste and cheap/flavorless spice mix. Should have higher quality standards if representing Indian food in an international airport.
Awesome South Indian restaurant that serves a diverse menu and a true taste of South Indian cuisine. The bar serves all the wide range of alcoholic drinks with one of the most extensive selection of alcohols available in the city (from all over the world). The service is exceptional and a last bit of Canadian hospitality before your flight.
I frequent this outstanding place once a month because I love the special air that is part of this restaurant. The staff is exceptionally attentive and experienced. The service is extraordinarily quick. Needless to say, the food you eat is great. I frequent many times and I was always joyful. The cost is modest. I recommend this place to to everybody.
I love South Asian food. But this restaurant is a mess. It has a strong low-quality Brampton flavor in it, and should not be represented in Canadas main international airport. Food is often dry, and old. There are way better options when it comes to Indian food in Toronto.
Horibble, takes forever and expensive!
They are located inside terminal 1 at Pearson international airport right at the E gates around E77 gate. You need to order your food thru iPads attached to each table and pay with your card right there. They have wide range of vegetarian options and selections of rice and curry is perfect for before flight top up.Do not expect authentic Indian taste but not bad.
Ordered butter chickenGave me 90% riceAnd 10% butter chickenNot enough sauce to even cover half the rice
So horrible it was actually hillarious!
Good food options available. The staff was nice and we got our food in minutes. There are very limited restaurants on Terminal 1 international as compared to the amount of people on this terminal. The other restaurant has limited seating, so we decided to go to Marathi. We ordered the food on the tablets and it was easy to order and pay. We will definitely eat here again if we travel through this terminal in future.
Decent menu, great ordering system, service not good. :(After ordering quickly & easily using the tablet, we waited patiently for about 25 minutes before any contact was made. It was frustrating watching the staff members gossiping & eating behind the bar during our entire visit. The man in the photo never stops munching!! We were wondering if he didnt in fact eat our food, causing the delay.Would be a really great operation if they replaced the entire staff with helpful, friendly faces ;-)
A reasonable priced airport meal. I had one of the curries with rice. The rice was not properly cooked( undercooked and then microwaved) and the curry spicing tasted like it had been added at the end instead of being cooked into the oils. It was decent, but please preserve the integrity of the dishes-- theres no reason to do it badly!
Tasty butter chicken. Small portion and airport prices. Wouldnt be a destination but if hungry in the terminal this is a good option.
You will get little bit glance of indian food, but it wont be even close to spicy as original Indian taste. They serve good soft soft naans also. Decent experience for airport.
Okay. Liked the Indian style food but otherwise not too different from many other airport restaurants. The server was quite nice though. He answered questions and started making the martini as soon as mentioned, even before ordering.
Such a pathethic customer service we ordered a food waiting for more than 20mins and than called the server they said we didn’t even got the order even though i showed him my transactions but he keep on arguing and after sometime talking to his IT served us food but again he didn’t even listen the order properly and served non veg food to which i had ordered vegetarian!Horrible experience!
Very beautiful and clean the way the environment has been cared for. Healthy place to eat. Lovely shopping place. Nice people.
Expensive and mediocre at best. This one of those airport restaurants that does the bare minimum. The food quality is not worth it. If you can bring some food with you to the airport it will be more economical and taste a lot better then what you get here.
My father got a butter chicken quesadilla here and it was monumentally insubstantialThe service wasn’t much better. He basically scoffed at us and didn’t seem to really care at all.The rest of the food was average at best, except for my dish (curry chicken slider) which was actually pretty good. However, that does not make up for the other problems.
Great place to sit while waiting for your flight. Order on the tablet and the server brings your order to you. Very convenient charging stations right at your table. Nicely designed.
Nice to have a cold beer before a long flight... Butter Chicken Naan was great!
We got their vegetable korma and butter chicken with rice. Very impressed with the quality and taste. Pricy ($16 each) but so is everything else at the airport! We saw a chilled packaged sandwich elsewhere for $13.
It was OK, not brilliant in any way. Service very average, food variable, bathrooms not very good.
The airport restaurant is decent with decent prices. The ease of order is something that was comfortable for me.
Great food! Tablet input format ordering. Liked that! Staff were quick and helpful😊
Not able to understand why it is called Marathi. Some good North Indian dishes are available. But nothing Marathi about it!
Very expensive and a complicated ordering system. We had 2 beers and 2 egg salad sandwiches and it cost just over 50CD. Research other outlets in Toronto airport.
Sloppy food, I received a sandwich that looked like a pizza which had been in the display for too long. Late delivery, un-interested customer service. Not worth your money.
This place was one of the best meals Ive ever had. I was worried because it wasnt Indian food in was used to, but after my meal I realised this is what India food really was. Its family style so order it all!
Service is good. Setup very convinient. Food quality really needs improvement even for an airport restaurant.
I loved this place. Nice beers and burger.
The food had weird taste I had quesadilla with curry test taste.
It is frustrating that there are so many options available at Pearson, yet, despite the high prices, your service and food options are limited by what area of the terminal you choose to sit in. This is especially considering they all use the same tablet-based ordering system. Ordering a drink vs a meal should have predictable arrival times, but you may end up receiving your drink long after your meal even if youve ordered them at the same time.
This restaurant is located near Gate E 78 at the Toronto Pearson International Airport. Awful food!! Probably the chef doesnt know how to cook Indian food. May be other dishes are good but my Peas and Paneer curry was awful. Rice were also undercooked.Service is great and you can directly order from the table using the iPad. Will try something else next time. Till then it stays at 1 star.
Food is decent. Fast service. But everything on the menu is really expensive. Never thought Id pay $28 for anything on the breakfast menu. If the prices werent so high, it would actually be worth going here more often when I fly.
Food was good. Prices ok except for wine and spirits. Service slow for an airport restaurant.
A for effortF on portionsC on taste
Excellent food. Including vegan and vegetarian options ;))) Highly recommend in the airport de Toronto.
Good place to sip on beer and eat Indian food while waiting for your flight..
Overpriced, small portions. I ordered the chicken wings, which were a $14 appetizer. They looked MUCH bigger in the photo. $4 for a Coke, $7 for a water, $9 for a beer, and $18 for a glass of wine. When you’re trapped in the Toronto airport, you have no choice.
Food is abundant here, lol. Great place to hangout waiting for your connections. Charging outlets all along the bar.
Horrible. Over priced. Hardly any variety. Took forever to get our order. It was time for our flight and we asked to combert our order to take out they were immediately ready with it. Means the order was ready and they just didnt want a dirty table and they wanted me to get a take out.
I just wanted food. This place is just saturated with marketing and propaganda. They have really mastered the art of making you feel truly alienated. Tried to use one of their tablets, which would have been practical, but it is locked down with a truly horrendous and extremely restrictive interface, where you for instance are forced to wait for an advertisement to play before you can go online. And then, if you watch a video on youtube or some place, it demands that you tap a do you need more time?-box every 90 secs or so. What a waste.
Surprisingly good curries in an airport. Skip the potato appetizer! Potatoes were hard, lightly covered in a BBQ sauce, and not very appealing. Meal was expensive for what it was.
If you can get an order through its fine, but the general experience is never that simple.
Veggie Mediterranean sandwich was not even hot. Stuff inside was still a little cold. Hash was pretty good. Overall too expensive for okay food.
Nice Indian restaurant in Ramses hotel Cairo
Ordered a coffee which was good, sausages and and egg with cheese croissant. The croissant was burnt and the sausages were cold. WORST. MEAL. EVER.
Food looks nothing like what is advertised, poor attitude from servers and will slams your food infront of you not to mention it take them an hour to bring your food out.Save your money, you are better off starving.
Food good atmosphere is fine
Cozy place to eat and drink. You dont feel yu are in an airport at all. Loved it !
Decent food, quite pricey. The service is fast and prompt. Its a good place for a quality meal before a flight. Wish there was an option to get a dish combo with naan/roti, but they only have combos with rice.
Great food. I am from New Jersey, US, and the taste reminded me of true Indian food. Great food, great quantity.
Good food, nice atmosphere, and fantastic staff.
Good food yet pricey.
Quick service and my drinks were strong the way I like them.
Good food, prompt service and interesting ordering style with the iPads at each seat. Four stars as found it a bit overpriced, although that is perhaps expected at the airport..
Its an automatic, iPad based airport restaurant. Couldnt place an order, the card reader was broken and the waiter (call button) never came.
Nice indian restaurant in Ikeja .Good choice of menu
Conveniently located in the heart of the wing. Prices and selection are not bad for an airport menu. Service is sub-par and the meals are sloppy, under-seasoned. Ordering from the iPad is no longer an novelty but it does speed up the process some what.
Decent Indian food. Reasonably priced. Not bad for airport food
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT EVERI REPEAT DO NOT ORDER.Being an Indian and after spent more than four years in Mumbai, I am close and very near to Marathi food. After I head many complaints from my friends about this resturent. I decided to check by my self.I ordered curry chicken sliders and a drink. After 20 minutes drink arrived and after a other 10m after the dish. First impression of the slider is hollow as only salad and piece of chicken kept under in a bun. However, I decided to bite a slider to taste and its taste so blunt. I didnt find neither curry nor mint chutney which they mentioned to discribe dish. After pointing the fact first they denied that it didnt have any sauce in it but eventually they regretted. I asked side chutney as my flight time is near by after 15 I asked for the same and they desided to remade the dish!! To cut short the review after a other 15 minus I got the dish with noticeably sauce and chutney in it but It even tasted worst.
Food was fine, but the service people dont seem to know how to help you with anything or dont care.
The food was good. However, like every airport restaurant I have visited, and there are many, the food is way overpriced.
The food was very tasty; although the drinks leave much to be desired (weak and undersized while overpriced) and the service was very nearly subpar. But hey, it is the airport, so what can you really expect. Go here to charge your phone and get a decent meal before boarding, but dont expect to be blown away by anything else.
Tasty food and quick service
Usual preflight fare but finally decent choices for vegetarians and vegans thanks
A great restaurant within the international terminal of toronto Airport. indian cuisine great taste and choice of good beverages. the cool part was ordering your food and drinks over an ipad which was installed into your table.
Great Food, wouldnt have expected that great quality and taste at an Airport Bistro. Highly recommended!
Airport and food as specially international airports Nice indian joint on YYZ Airport.
Overpriced, small portions, good food. Ate here twice on my 8 hour layover in the airport. Food was pretty good but the prices are rather high and the portions rather small. $25 for sliders and a drink is steep
Wide variety of drinks. Food was good. Portions were small and pricey. Not a bad place to wait for a flight.
Terrible. I wish I had taken a side by side picture of the dishes vs what was on the menu.... The colourful salad in the picture is really just plain coleslaw, chicken tikka masala had only three pieces of chicken and rest all gravy. Very average food quality. No service since you prepay tips using the tablet. The call server button is well hidden and the severs ignore it anyways. I do not recommend you to come here.
Very broad variety of foods. All orders are placed from iPads at the tables which can also be used to surf the web and find flight information. The daal was quite good.
16Cad for a cold Sandwich and warm food takes forever
The supermarket style Nan bread. Butter chicken was acceptable but tiny portion. The salad was a chopped up onion, with grated cabage and carrot doused in an unremarkable salad dressing. Total with a diet Coke and manadatory graduity $27. There are many people who enjoy the buzz of working at an airport, the staff here do not and it shows.
The food was just average and lackluster and lacking in flavor.
Just hung out at the bar. Food looked good though. If I was hungry, Id try the Indian food.
Completely lost food order from the kiosk but didnt forget to charge for it. Had only 15 minutes to eat before flight when finally arrived. Garlic Naan bread was like dried out paper with hardly any garlic flavour. Pretty mediocre product for the price.
Sandwich ok.. Service so so not really friendly... 1 smaii bottle of beer juice close to $15...well you tell me?44
Cool space to kill time while waiting. Great Hendricks and cukes cocktail and delicious naan.
The masala scrambled eggs are buttery, flavoursome heaven! I had them on the way out and way back on my journey!
Nice food, less personal with the IPad thing
Super slow!! Took 20 minutes to get papadum and chutney
Food was tasty but not worth the price.
It is ok for quick refreshment drink.
Pretty good Asian and Indian food considering it is in an airport.
Kushbu is very knowledgeable and courteous. Good in her work
Disappointing. Food smells good when you walk by but for the price quantity is less and no taste to the food. Bland airport food.
Good food, high speed . Awesome for tired travelers.
Good place for a veggie meal prior to boarding
Delicious food and great service...
