I went to this restaurant last night for dinner. The welcome was really deplorable. indeed the lady behind the cash register which is in my opinion the boss was not welcoming or smiling from start to finish. When we left after paying she didnt even bother to look up to say goodbye. since she was too busy counting her money. Regarding the service the dishes were not good too salty. I had to call three times so I could drink my coffee. I had to call once to remind him that I had ordered a coffee a second time for the sugar and the third time for a spoon to mix the sugar that I obviously never had. I am a person who travels a lot and I have never seen such a deplorable welcome and service. Its a shame that it is not possible to give a score of 0.
Well I’ll not recommend this restaurant as I had a dinner in this restaurant and had a very bad experience with the food was not tasty enough and no salt and very little amount of food in lot of money totally not worth the money. Please work on The quantity and the quality.
Fantastic Indian restaurant in Brera, the food was really good, high quality. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you so much
Turned us away because we didn’t have a Green pass.We had CDC vaccine card that is equivalent to a green pass. Also had same day negative Covid testing results for the upcoming travel back to the US.Didn’t want to look into this info.Unapologetic and rude.Had an outside sitting available, but didn’t offer us such an easy solution. We ended up without the dinner.Horrible attitude.
Bahut taste khana hai Yaha guys. Zarur Jana. The food is so delicious and super Indian. Mr. Pal gave us an amazing and friendly service. I and my Indian gf enjoyed completely.Completely worth it.
Excellent food & friendly staff!Their Aloo Mattar and Rice with Cumin is so delicious as well their spicy chicken masala
This has to be the best Indian restaurant in Milan. We went there for lunch and ordered the vegetarian thaali with chicken tikka masala and chicken tandoori. The food was phenomenal and I’m not even exaggerating one bit.The chicken tikka masala was probably the best I’ve ever had in my life and the tandoori was so juicy! The food came out very quick too I’m about like 10 minutes all the food was ay our table! The staff here was very attentive and cared about what we ordered and recommended the best dishes from their menu! The thaali was delightful and the food was of the utmost highest quality. We finished every last bit of this meal and didn’t have any food left to take home.Must go to place if you’re in the area!
Great chicken tikka masala.
I had the most delicious lunch in a while at really reasonable Pryce. I had a tandoori platter that comprised delicious tandoori chicken, perfectly cooked and spiced, a heavenly yellow rice and cheese nan, freshly baked. My first had the chicken tikka masala, that came with pilau rice and fresh nan. This chicken is honesty like a drug, once youve tasted it you require more. Unbelievable. I also had a rice dessert, quite good. Lunch prices and very low and quality is excellent. The ambient is small, neat, tasteful and they have opened a downstairs hall as well. They play soft music and you leave relaxed and happy for a good Lunch. Definitely to return!
Ordered chicken curry, but wasnt the creamy dish I expected. Maybe they gave me the tikka masala?
A huge Indian place we stumbled upon after days of montous pizza and pasta. We went on a busy Friday night and both the floors were full. The owner and staff are polite and respectful. We ordered mix pakoras ( which were average). The kadhai panner was the best dish on the table - better than the lamb masala. The breads were good but not great. I would rate the food as above average and much better than the general taste of Indian food in Europe
Best Butter Chicken in Milano
A good Indian restaurant in Milan not far from the city centre. Prices, quality and quantity absolutely OK, especially with the midday menu, when you can choose from 6 different menues for very reasonable prices.Kind staff and nice Indian ambience. Its the third time I return and every time the experience has been satisfactory.
Probably the worst indian restaurant I have ever been to in an International country. The service was pathetic. The owner is not welcoming and friendly at all. The food had no taste. It was horrible and looked like it was serves to us on purpose. Please avoid this place. Plus they charged 6€ saying its tax.
We came on our last night in Milan. we were not sure what to expect of this place but were blown away by the food at Rangoli and the excellent service. The decor was also beautiful. Keep up the good work and see you next time we’re back in Milan!
Excellent taste and service. I visited it for lunch and I ordered a beer and a Chicken Korma platter. The dish was very tasty. More than enough pieces. Butter naan was also good. And rice was a good companion to finish with.
The decoration is very good, warm home feeling. The food quantity and quality is excellent. However, despite that the restaurant was not at its full capacity waiting time was too long. We had reserved in advance and getting in and getting seated was very quick. Once we were seated, it toke 10 minutes to get the menu. The waiters did not notice that we were seating without the menu in our hands. I started waiving to get attention. Once we had ordered our food, it toke an other 35 min to get our food. For the service I give 5 out of 10 and the food quality and quantity 9 out of 10.
The food is really really good, with truly authentic Indian taste and above all the service & people are very humble.Would recommend Samosa as a starter. Overall dishes we ordered were also very good.
Probably one of the best Indian restaurants in Milan city area. Although its with above average price but good part you get is taste. I tried different dishes here and everything was great. The staff and hotel space was also nice. If you are looking for good Indian food, you should definitely go for it.
Best Indian food in Milan. You will eat until you have to undo your jeans button 😋
The food is good. I have visited in 2010(was stationed in Italy for 3 months) and in 2018. No complains about food. However, during peak hrs its good to have early reservations. The staff is good except one lady who is the sister in law of owner Mr.Mohan. She is very rude.
Tasteless Indian food. Ambience was good but the food was not up to the mark.Really disappointed.
Delicious food..... authentic Indian test..... One of best Indian restaurant in Milan
Lovely Indian restaurant, quiet place and very good food. So far the best Indian food restaurant I experienced in Milan
Food is good but the quantity was very very very small. The small bowl of vegetables was just filled half like just 1-2 spoon, literally was just 2 spoons of curry when you are charging so expensive price for a dish. Rip off and not worth for money you are paying.
As an Indian I visit this restaurant once in every few weeks to enjoy authentic Indian food. I have tried many Indian restaurants in Milan and this is my favourite. Their tandoor nan is just awesome. A bit pricey though but worth it.
Nice Indian food. We specially enjoyed it as we had been looking for Indian food for the past many days. Good starters from the earthen clay oven (Tandoor), filling main course and Indiana Music to create nostalgia
Best Indian food in town.
A fine dine Indian restaurant with excellent ambience. Would recommend the Chicken Biriyani here.
After a week of Italian good we were desperate for a change. Went here on my husbands birthday. What a great place with a great atmosohere and decor. We were made very welcome and the food was delicious. Doubt we will be in Milan again but would definitely return of we were. Thanks for a memorable last night in Milan.
Ate veg pulav/biryani in the dinner. It tasted like home. The waiter was generous enough to ask about the taste of the food. Nice & decent place for dinner.
Its a good experience for me. We were in front of it right at the closing time, yet they are generous to allow us. Taste, quantity and pricing were apt.
My husband and I loved everything about this restaurant! Perfect taste perfect ambience. India away from India..
A small indian restaurant with good taste of food. They have midday fixed meal for lunch. We have ordered vegitarian one and that good. Quantity is also ok.But roti was very hard. Also the owner was bit rude.
1) I wont recommend this place for lunch or dinner.2) expensive3) behavior of owner is not good4) charged extra amount on bill.
Good food and very helpful staff . I will visit again 8f I am in Milan
Good Indian restaurant in Brera Area of Milan city. The food was good. But the service was not up to the expectations.
Pretty place and nice food. Try the beer :)..! Its not precisely budget friendly but worth it..
Awesome food......best Indian food in Europe. Great hospitality. You out do yourelf every time. I have dined here numerous times.
If you want the authentic feel of india this is the place .. be it any indian festival or your personal celebration this is where you should be .. and there are chances you get to see some celebrities too .. yesss this is where the cream goes to hv creamy delicious delight 😊
The food is very good. Very nice ambiance. Great experience :)
Liked the main dish (chicken curry) and appetizers. Kind personnel. Dessert can be improved
Good food and hospitality with a quiet ambience becomes a good option to visit and have the Indian taste.. definitely a must option..
One of the best places to enjoy Indian food.Great ambience and wonderful staff
Authentic Indian taste.. friendly staff.. just love coming here
Delicious food and good prices. The service was also OK but not spectacular. I would certainly return
Mediocre food and service. Quality of food served was not at par with the prices charged. Also, the lady at the front door didn’t seem very welcoming.
Excellent Food. Prompt Service. Friendly & Polite Staff. Above all Superb Food.
Very good food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Definitely recommending
A decent Indian restaurant.Taste of the food was average, place is quite small with good ambience. On request they served Raitha (curd mix) for veg Pullav but didnt charged for that. But at last service charge is not more. For ten Euros food it was sixteen including water charges. But someone can have a try who is missing Great Indian food.
You need to use a dishwasher not hand wash lol. btw brilliant gelato
Food is decent... location is very good ... very near to milano porta garibaldi station . A lil expensive
The food is not that great. Starters were good. The place was neat and atmosphere was good.
Had the absolute displeasure of being served by the super-unfriendly and manner-less staff from Rangoli, who had a stall at the Festival Dell Oriente in Rome. We were at times outright refused service and at other times, given pathetic excuses as to why they will not serve a particular dish even though it is on the menu. Avoid at all costs!
The food was ok. The briani meat wasn’t briani, it was makbous as Khaliji people know it. The price was a bit expensive compare with the quality of food.
The hostess and person who took my order, served and prepared the bill did not ask a question about the food, nor did she check during my meal if I wanted anything else and overall it seemed like she was unhappy that customers come to her restaurant. The daal rangoli was good but the overall experience specially this persons behaviour made me feel unwelcome
Excellent food with good indian food variety and great ambience
Very good food and nice restaurant in city centre.
This place is one of the worst places I have had indian food. Firstly they charged us for the things we didnt order such as chai which was charged twice. We asked for chicken korma and they gave us butter chicken which was bad again. My friends got sick after eating here and the hosts give more importance to foreigners than they do to indians.
Very good food welcoming staffNice ambienceButter chicken was amazing
Very elegant and exciting Indian Restaurant with real taste.
Beautiful place and amazing food
Pathetic service not at all recommendedPlease dont waste your time & money.
Perfect place for testy Indian food in Milan.Specially Samosa is very testy. Try it once
My last night in Milan with my daughter and son in law. What shocking service with almost 2 hours from the order placement to the food getting to the table. Questions asked got a confirmation that it was on its way. Absolute disgrace
Not that good Indian food, i ate much better from that.
The wait staff was exceptionally Pallab was extremely rude and blunt. It seemed he does not respect the guests at his restaurant. I waited for more than 30 mins for my food and when I asked the wait staff about the food he simply said you will have to wait for more time instead of being apologetic about the delay. I would not recommend anyone to be up for a miserable experience. Secondly, what was shocking is when I told one of the persons at the cash counter about the behaviour he said here is the name of the wait staff and leave a one star review which clearly denotes that these people do not care about customer feedback.
Amazing. I still remember it 10 years later.
The food cooked in this restaurant was served for the Diwali celebrations by North Italian Indian Association on 1 November 2018 and the food was the worst. I am ashamed to say it was Indian food altogether. I am giving one star because, I cant post this review without giving a minimum of 1 star.
Very nice food and ambience..
This place is not for Indians. They make you feel unwelcome. Several weird things about the places1. Strictly ok to bad food2. Unwelcoming host. We had kids with us and we asked if we could keep strollers somewhere. They said dekh lo. There is no place here. We carried the strollers along to the basement. No one in Italy (Italians also) made us feel unwelcome because we had kids with us. Infact, people went out of the way to be helpful3. This places target segment is clearly not Indians. They give superior service to foreigners. So much for the brotherhood4. They have ridiculous service charges of 3 Euro per person including for 4 year olds. Wow.Numerous other stuff. Suffice to say that I would never want an unassuming Traveller to come here. It makes you sad about your own countrymen.
Beware of extra 10 Euros on the top of your bill as sitting charge. this lady could not explain me this part and also colored that segment of the bill. Had i been staying longer in Milan, I would have complained about these guys. Truly horrible experience.
This was the first time ,I had the worst food.We were like 11 people and the most important thing was everyone were sick after eating here.We ordered Hyderabad Biriyani, we first thought it was chicken and when we enquired they told it was lamb Biriyani.I am not sure what did he mix with that food.It was a horrible day for us.So I highly recommend not to visit this place in ur life.
Food was good. No issues with service.
Good restaurant, dont miss to go....all indian
Amazing ambiance, food, and drinks.
Perfect place for indian cuisine .. loved the food , hospitality and the warmth with which they fed us !
Excellent restaurant with probably the best portions in Milan. Real authentic atmosphere..check it out !
Nice place and good taste
It was a pathetic experience. The person serving the food is very rude, moreover, you cannot order starters, only main course.the main course was also not even tasting.Paneer tikka masala had paneer with uncooked tomato puree.Mixed vegetable was having gravy with just paneer and peas as if it was just leftover food that was served.Aloo Partha had more peas than aloo(potato). Even he will ask you not to eat papad alone, let the main course arrive. Taste was really really very bad.Biryani was tasteless, even salt was missing.please please never even try going to this place.
Ambience is perfectFood taste is averageQuite expensiveTip : Water charges and sitting charges can be excluded on request
Very nice Indian cuisine and Competative prices.
Best place to enjoy Indian food.
When u visit and ask Mohit where are from.. Let me help him... He is born & brought up in Italy.. (as he always replies to this question) 😉
Amazing service. Lovely cuisine.
Nice place authentic Indian food ..friendly and courteous staff ..
Biryani was a big disappointment. Better stick to naans and tandoors. Have your expectations low and it might work.
Great tasting authentic Indian food.
Good Food, lovely service, small portions though.
If u like Indian food youll like it
Nice place, good food, friendly service, chose from the menu and no gluten issues at all.
Good food, excilent services
Ambience, staff ,cleanliness, food
Extremely courteous staff specially mr Vallabh & boss mr Mohan chauan very friendly, food was excellent authentic Indian cuisine, home away from home 🙏💐👍 5 star quality
Disappointing ... over priced and unfriendly service ... located in a basement with no ventilation ... suffocating interiors ... food not tastefully indian ... had to pay 8 euros for parking in addition to heavy restaurant bill. what was most disturbing ... they offered me a discount if i did not ask for formal receipt.
Owner was very rude, food was also average.
Very slow service and food below average.
Good food but hospitality need to be improved
Tasty food, nice atmosphere
