Very. Poor service, the cash counter person cheating while making billing, please check the bill proper otherwise, they cheat . When I check the bill I surprised that he make a entry a Minerals water bottle bill Rs70, they serve a normal 20Rs. Bottle and billing Rs70., When I demad remaining 50/-after few ,they denied for back of 50/-, there is no available of Minerals water when I asked him. Please be aware of like that type of fraud. I attached bill also.

Earlier it used to be a decent restaurant but these days the quality of food and service is not at all upto the mark. Only the south indian section is okaish.

Super bad service. even after asking multiple tyms didnt take the order. have never been to a worse restaurant than this. they didnt have a clean table and didnt care even after 20 minutes of wait. shame !!

Good Food, Good Staffs and Good Ambience.Price is reasonable. In very few places in Medinipur you will get good biriyani, Samrat is one of them, will recommend Mutton Biriyani. Good place for Family Dinner.

Good restorent in Medinipur,they divided hotel in three parts ,one for Bengali food , another for South Indian and Punjabi food ( dont expect here onion and salad) and third portion for high class people which is fully AC and you can get maximum things according to season and timing..

Good Service and hygene

Was one of the best until they started going for the sweet shop below. After that i think they forgot that their main thing was the restaurant. Now the conditions are worst. They opened something downstairs for fast food , biriyani , kabab and all but please dont ever try to have it there. The kabab i saw was lying there for 2 days.. totally rotten and shrinked. In biriyani they doing Jugar 😂. I think...its time for them to change or close.

A two storey eating joint, with the main dining section on the first floor. The seating arrangement is pretty decent, with two seater and four seater tables placed quite comfortably on the floor, keeping enough space to walk around the tables. The menu offers multiple options and the price seemed pocket friendly for most of the items. Most importantly, the service staff are quite efficient and co-operative and the food was served without much delay. One plus point - well maintained restrooms, which is hardly a good point worth mentioning in most of the cases.

The restaurant has evolved over time in regards to interior decoration and has been consistent over years.One of the most sought after outlet for quality food. I have tried Indian,Mughal and Chinese dishes out there.I wikk recommend the Chinese dishes over the rest .in case you are picky about biryani then I it is a suggestion to stay away from the Biryani which is served there.

I go to Samrat for more than a decade. I first visited in 2003. No word is enough about the service and quality they provide since then. Its the most affordable restaurant at Medinipur. The environment and interior are awesone. They enhanced the interior decoration in 2017. The staff is also well-behaved even to satisfy the most sceptical customer. A good destination for all food lovers.

This time the hospitality was worst. Bad behavior by the waiter. They have decreased the options of food in sense of availability. It has somewhat lost its charm and quality over time. Previously it was my first option but now I have to think before we step in there. If you are after 10 then they womt send you back but be sure you have to go through the worst kind of service from them. As if it was your mistake going up there.Suggestion: Please dont go after 10pm ever. Better to look for other options.

The only restaurant in Midnapur is keeping its food quality up-to-the mark. All others are good at start and once gain some fame, instantly start neglecting customer preferences and food quality.

Nice staffs and dishes are delicious. Probably, the best among all other pocket-friendly restaurants in Midnapore is this one. Among all the dishes they serve here, Chicken Biryani is probably the best in the city, Masala Kulcha is also of very good quality; Mix Veg, Chilli Chicken, Chicken Bharta, Chicken Handi - all are really tasty! However, the Butter Nun seemed to me to be little bit extra buttery and it tends to lose its softness a little too quickly. However, nothing is perfect in this world. So, I think, Samrat Restaurant, in all aspects, is definitely gonna be a good choice for frequent visits for foodies.
