After having internet from this company only one month i recieved a bill for 225 dollars lol. Despite the fact i pre paid 100. Was way over priced to begin with even before they started tacking on extra charges which they never mentioned. Who can afford these prices?

I have always been happy with the service I receive from Middleburgh telephone company. The staff is friendly. When ever I have a problem they show up promptly. I have phone and internet with them, and am very pleased with both.

OK, perhaps that I am missing something very fundamental. Is your email sight home page / work site really that anemic? Why is the viewability of my emails restricted to one eighth of the screen; loose the logo. Has anyone there ever tried Gmail?

It disconnects me every few minutes and there response when I called is oh we’re sorry your 1 of 2 getting this like I rilly care who is getting I want to know why and how they are going to make sure I receive what I am paying for. I am about to try powering my software with potatoes

Their customer service is non-existent. They DO NOT waive any late fees even if its your first time. They do not send out any letters explaining that if any portion of a past due is not paid at a certain date (not your due date) your service will get disconnect, they instead make a phone call and ONLY mention that you have a past due amount (very deceiving). When you find out your service is disconnect then you are told you have to pay a 35$ late fee to reconnect even though it is done remotely and no one has to actually go to the house. If you pay your bill online 2 days before the due date it is still marked late and you get charged a late fee. Only way to not get charged a late fee is to pay 3-4 days before the due date or call in to pay. They definitely employ PREDATORY customer practices. BEWARE they are not a very understanding or a consumer friendly company. They are essentially the only company in town and can operate as a Monopoly because customers have no other options.

Overpriced subpar service, incompetent technical staff.The initial installation was like a wild goose chase trying to get a straight answer out of anyone. We spoke to this fellow whos last name resembled an Italian dish. I gotta admit, a good snake-oil salesman. First we were given a quote over the phone, then told a different story in person. Long story short, we had to reschedule business appointments twice because Midtel showed up for the install unannounced. I guess it took 2 days for the install because the 1st time they left us with 3 outlets not working. The installation was sloppy at best and my electrician says the guys who ran the wire did a poor job.Get your shack in order MIDTEL because once Spectrum or Verizon rolls Fiber out its time to pack your bags and run with the $$$$$. THIEVES

Every time Ive dealt with midtel it is nothing but a headache. Its like pulling teeth just for them to send out an application to get internet. The prices seem awfully high when there are constantly problems with the internet. Very disappointed.
