Mhasa is an ancient village in Murbad taluka of Thane district. 42 km from Karjat . If Murbad from Aad and the village 10 kilometers away from the (Lord Shiva) is an ancient temple, or mandiravaruna fell Village mhasa name. The Mhasoba Yatra is famous for its cattle trade, which has a tradition of nearly two hundred and fifty years. There is a huge crowd here to buy cattle. The pilgrimage lasts for ten days around the temple from Poush Pournima. Cattle herds are established on about 200 to 250 acres of land. Apart from Maharashtra, Karnataka , GujaratDevotees from all over the state come here every year to buy cattle, and the sale of cattle to Poush Vadyap Pratipada begins. There are a large number of shops selling clothes, sweets, barfi, toys, blankets, blankets, Solapuri sheets, Mysore, khaja, pede etc. Hundreds of shops selling blankets, blankets, sweaters and sheets are set up here on cold days. Some 25-30 KMS from Badlapur. Worth visiting. Esp the rainy and winter seasons. However ensure you are carrying enough petrol and money as there are no options on the way. You get petrol at unauthorised shops, at higher cost. Roads are good. Travel through the forest is mind-blowing. Recommend visiting it once atleast.

Very kind hearted ppl at the temple gave us shelter when we are on a raod trip stranded in the rain in the middle of a night. They Didnt even accept money, Moved by their gesture it reminds me again that money is not everything.that you need to live a meaningful life.
