One of the renowned place for sweets and savouries at Visharam. You will find almost all varieties of sweets and snacks over here. My favourite here is Jhangri which if you have it once am sure you ll be loving it. Makhkhan peda is another speciality of theirs. The owner of this shop is a very nice person. They give good discounts for bulk orders.

Good sweets but when compared to Selvam sweets its not much better I recommend Selvam sweets.

Sweets are mostly the sugar soaked variety. Very reasonably priced compared to rates in Chennai. The highest priced was Rs.220 for carrot or bread halwa. Savouries are also tasty and great value for money. A little more variety would have got them 5 stars.
