We have been visiting this place since 2017. It is a beautiful bungalow tucked away in a peaceful village. After the hustle and bustle and stressful living in Chennai, it felt like paradise. We went for a swim in the river everyday, took soothing walks with our dog, played in the huge water tank in a nearby farm. The food was home-cooked and yummy. We visited in December 2020 and it was such a great relief to be visiting a completely COVID-free zone during the pandemic. The older folks in the family visited many temples in the nearby cities of Srirangam and Trichy. The hosts Usha and Raja were very warm and out of the way to make us feel at home. The caretakers offer outstanding service and made us feel like we were visiting family. We plan to come back for more memorable visits.

This graceful private bungalow is situated in the peaceful unspoiled hamlet of Melur. The hosts Rajan and Usha are graceful and are the epitomes of hospitality. The food is home-cooked delicious and healthy. The Kaveri and kollidam rivers are close by and we went for a swim almost everyday of our stay. Srirangam and Trichy with their wealth of temples are accessible by car. We plan to return soon.

Raja with great knowledge of India and its rich history you cant miss listening to his vast knowledge & experience and Usha makes sure that you are comfortable and well fed and happy.. ..... If you are the kind who likes to woken up by a peacock and sound of river cauvery and brillant clear sky with sun at its best colours and live in a house which is designed artisticly in indian style yet with all modern faclities plus pampered by the hosts Raja and Usha and entire team then this is tje ideal place.My kid loved the swiming expereince on the cauvery and kolidam river.

The house is beautiful, clean, very tastefully decorated. In front of the rooms there are terraces where you can relax. They give you the opportunity to have dinner cooked by the neighbors, accepted !! They are real delicacies. The place is in the countryside and you can really relax. The only drawback is that it is a bit far from the rest of the city, but if you want to be calm and silent than the classical chaotic Indian city can not be considered even a mole.
