LOVE THIS PLACE! Ive ordered from here on meal delivery services twice and their butter chicken has an OUTSTANDING smoky flavour, unparalleled by any other Ive tasted. They know how to make an Aussie level mild curry and can still turn up the heat just right! I would give a 5 except that both times our orders were missing 1 item (it was printed correctly on the order ticket attached to our bag so definitely the fault of the restaurant not delivery partner). Not enough to turn me away because their response to issues is outstanding!

Had a wonderful meal at the Two Fat Indians. My party of 7 had the set menu with the desert. Service was fast and friendly. The food quality was superb. The restaurant was clean and felt very comfortable. The place got really busy and had a wonderful vibe. Highly recommended. Will be returning.

Menu is restricted but has dishes not found in main stream curry houses.3 chilli beef vindaloo and the sour chicken were really tasty. Both the buttered nan and the kashmiri nan were also tasty. All beers seemed to be bottled.Staff were very friendly and attentive.Left with my mouth with a nice tingle and a full belly.

Delicious Indian, great ambience and not too far from the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Have been here a few times, although the last Kofta I had could have been better. Or I should say, I liked the kofta from a previous time. Prefer to eat in than takeaway. Thank you so much

The best Indian in melbourne have eaten here on many occasions and have never been let down. Butter chicken is made with breast pieces of chicken which is great unlike other Indian restaurants who use the thigh or other fatty pieces. Keep up the good work guys

Not happy with the quality of the rice at all, there were a lot of rice parts stuck together, and when I told them they didn’t even have a look at it.There were no napkins on the table, and they did not bring us spoons before we ask them. The quality of Naan was very good and the only thing we liked was this bread.

Came here for a birthday party and was warmly welcomed by the hospitable staff. They provided takeaway containers and bags to take our cake away! Couldnt have been better! Thank you!

Dont bother. You can get the same quality (& quantity) of indian food for much cheaper in any food court. It really isnt good restaurant food. The restaurant has been here for quite some years so the locals must like it as its in a barren location with limited parking. Staff are very pleasant but are let down by the food.

Great ambience, attentive and good customer service. Overall pleasant experience with the variety of curries, Naans, fragrant rice and tasty Samosas. Downside: curries are too small, portion wise for $23.00. Not ideal in ratio with the price. Ordered 4 curries to share for 6 people, and was still hungry after.

Please dont dodge your customers by putting excessive Garam masala as a substitute to proper spices and flavours. Ive never had anything worst then the food I had at your resturant (to go) which is a insult to Indian food. Im surprised your overall ratings are still high comparing to the quality and the taste of your restaurants food. An utter disappointment.

Definitely my new Indian restaurant. Beef Vindaloo, Goat and butter nann were amazing. I was full though I had to try and fill up a bit more. Big thumbs up.

Less than average Indian food. Slowest service in spite of half empty restaurant. Tasteless curries and just three options for vegetarians.Palak Paneer is a basic Indian dish but it was watery, not green at all, and tasteless.Chicken Tikka Masala is another basic Indian dish but it was watery, dry and hard chicken pieces, and blend.Very surprised with this experience considering the fact that this restaurant is in a good location, has decent ambience but food and service is not proportionally good. The only good thing was the environment and that’s why I gave two stars.

Review is based on the food truck. We ordered the butter chicken with rice and naan at the moomba festival. It wasnt a bad butter chicken, had a nice thick consistency and a good ratio of curry to chicken. The rice was a bit overcooked making it a bit clumpy. The naan bread was thick and pillowy, cooked much better than the rice.

Wonderful food but it took 50 minutes for meal to arrive. People we walked in at the same time with were served, ate, and left before we received our meal. Complaints to the waitress put the blame on us (Yes the customer) because we did not order at the counter as indictated on the menu (I might add that I was there the week before and was served at the table). Never blame the customer.

I dont know what happened to this place. They used to have really good food topped up with good service. But the last meal I had from them was absolutely horrible. They cooked the wrong item and that too, the chicken in the Butter Chicken(my fav) was dry and tasteless. The kulfi(ice cream) was way too sweet to be edible. This is so disappointing. Please go back to your old standard of excellence.

Picked up a Tomato and Onion Salad last evening. Opened it after going home and to my surprise I could hardly find any tomatoes. Guys, if youre planning on selling Onions @ $6.00 for a small box, say so honestly. Dont pretend like youre selling a Tomato and Onion salad, where the customer has to keep searching for the tomatoes. Total rip off.
