This imposing structure was erected in memory of martyres of 1857, it is now a landmark of Meerut. Set in a beautiful garden has a statue of Mangal Pandey & a library as well.Needs better maintanace & popularisation programme.Also referred to as Ashok ki Lat.

Must visiting place in Meerut. It is an important place according to historical point of view.Candles are put time to time in the memory of Martyrs, our brave soldiers who died for our country.Thats why it is also called Shaheed Smarak.

A monument in memory of 1857 uprising started in Meerut cantt. Good place to remember and pay homages to martyrs. Only animated pictures and a bit deserted, almost no maintenance.
