Kinisi is a step towards future mobility. I have been using Kinisi e-cycle for more than a year now. The per charge range of e-cycles is around 45Km which pretty good serves the purpose. Riding these bicycles makes you feel so good and proud at the same time. If you are a long term user of Kinisi e-cycles, you have to get it serviced every month (and the service is a hassle free process at Kinisi). The Kinisi staff is very friendly and always there to help you. If you are in Auroville, its a best use of time to get the Kinisi e-cycle and roam through the forests without having any negative impact. Moreover, they also have e-bikes which are noiseless and easy to ride.Keep doing the great work!

This is truly one of the best Auroville services, and the KIM program is fantastic. With a basket or saddlebags provided, an e-cycle can serve the vast majority of your transportation needs. Its been such a blessing during the lockdown not to have to go looking for petrol even once! In february we rented 2e-bikes for a week. We discovered the surrounding of Auroville in a very pleasant way. All thanks for the service and the bikes of the Kinisi team. It was very special for us.

Super reliable bikes and team. We have rented the bikes for our family for 10 days. For our 3-year-old they mounted a child seat. Everything worked out fine. The experience was wonderful. The bike was also very nice , though it could have been better with an easy side-stand and a bigger basket in front that could accommodate a laptop bag easily, for those who take the cycle to work.The staff and service is excellent and efficient.

I wrote a review yesterday on my experience I had with this company.I see that my review has been removed.My bike broke down and my efforts to be able to ride it back were unmanageable. The battery wasnt holding a charge.They called and messaged me countless times, telling me I was ruining their Sunday.I find this company to display very poor customer service.Again today, I was messaged in Whats Ap telling me they werent happy with my review.

They do a great job with renting e-cycles and e-scooties. Thorough with their job. Prices are reasonable for the standards they have.

Arun and Gali have worked very hard to make my last two trips to Auroville magic. The electric bikes are of supreme quality and I have never encountered a problem. The scooter I rented was the perfect speed for someone just starting out and just enough ‘challenge’ for a first time user. With all the beautiful bike paths in the area and the added energy of the bike, you can see everything Auroville and the surrounding has to reveal.

Was planning to rent a cycle in Auroville and saw KINISI by chance. Rented an e-cycle for five days. It was a significant part of the Auroville experience. Used to pedal it a bit and when tired would switch to electric motor. It was a very nice experience.Only problem, I was given a cycle without mud guards. Riding in the slushy mud paths spoiled my dress. It got muddy in the back. But very quick response. I went to them with the issue on the second day and was immediately fixed with mud guards!

Best way to get around Auroville, either long or short stay. When I lived there in the 70s, bicycles were about the only transportation available. Ideally, it should return to that, especially with all the forest and shade trees. With Kinisi, you get a boost: an electric motor to help up you up the hills. My wife and I rented them for two months last winter and were happy with their quality and customer service.

Extremely convenient (especially on inclines) and an Eco-friendly way to get around Auroville. You can choose the amount of effort you want to expend pedaling around (5-levels and 7 gears). A bright LED lamp and charging kits are also provided and the e-cycle battery is removable making it convenient to charge anyplace at anytime.But what really made this an awesome experience for me is the small team that is very supportive irrespective of where you are at Auroville. These bikes are delightful! You bicycle in total quiet on the beautiful bike routes of Auroville and each little hump, when you would need to pedal a bit harder, you get helped as if pushed by an angel!

I hired an e bike for 3 weeks and it was my 1st time to cycle one, it was super good once I got familiar with it however I did find it a bit heavy and not so easy to maneuver at times.Kinisi are professional and friendly to deal with. After looking all around Auroville for the perfect vehicle, I found it here - an electric bicycle with five speeds. It was perfect for the dirt roads of Auroville and even at night. Kinisi renters gave me a light for nighttime. It was very cheap to rent. Great service.

Great experience and service, I always book an e-cycle at Kinisi when I’m visiting Auroville.

Kinisi bikes are new and in excellent condition. A daily charge lasts a couple of days, depending on how far you use it of course! It makes perfect sense to use one in Auroville. It doesnt make sense that these environmentally friendly bicycles cost double the price of hiring a polluting and noisy motor bike and scooter which are ridiculously cheap to hire by comparison. Really its up to people to make responsible choices and for Aurovillians to start addressing this .

These bikes were amazing for getting around Auroville! They were quick, easy to lock up and fun to ride! It was my first time trying an ebike and it was a blast! We even took them into town and found it even more fun going as fast as I could on paved roads! After walking for miles in the sun with a flat rear tire I did not find the service as in the rest of Auroville and was disappointed that I was offered a kind of rough mountain bike while there were nice lady bikes. I had now paid for 5 days in advance! Didnt feel like they cared and ended up leaving without a bike. So service very disappointing!

Perfect for a stay in Auroville. The best way to get around: Electric bike. Practical, fast and adapted to the geography of the place. I just love it :)
