Tamara Koltun was heaven-sent. She is very knowledgeable about the body systems and their interactions from the viewpoint of Chinese medicine. I was a mess when I showed up for my first appointment with Tamara. I was experiencing all of the physical, mental and emotional symptoms of grief: shock, detachment, unhealthy eating habits, sleeplessness, anxiety attacks, depression, aches and pains, etc. Traditional medical therapy was not helping much and creating adverse effects of its own. I have had successful experiences with acupuncture in the past but had yet to find a practitioner since moving. Tamaras evaluation process was very thorough, so those bazillion questions she asks on the questionnaire are important (and she explains all of it to you in a way you can understand). Tamara approaches her treatment plan in a linear manner (i.e., connects all the dots) but her added value to the treatment plan is that she is also very intuitive when it comes to the execution of it. Her sincerity and devotion in wanting to help her patients is evident in how she conducts her practice.
