One of the must visit place in Mathura after Janambhumi. It has Rajasthani structure. The temple is on the main the road itself. Thats why it is very crowded. This temple has its own time to open and close. It opens many time in the morning. It is very beautiful temple.Inside the temple you can also buy prashad for 10Rs. Or Rs.50.From Janambhumi auto will take Rs. 10 per head. Ahead of this temple there is Bishram ghat where is a ghat of Yamuna is located.

The temple opens for a while and closes for a while and this process is repetitive. However, the temple is closed between 1 PM to 3:30 PM and in night. The timings slightly differ in summer and winter. Timings are updated at the front gate of the temple. Devotees has to stand in queue (while the door is closed) in front of the gate which is on the road. There is only manual rickshaw available for visitors to reach here. Inside holi gate road is very narrow and bikers honk too much. Please wear your ear protection. I was here on A Saturday evening in October 2021 and it was very hot even in the month of October. Luggage bags are not allowed inside the temple. Beware of monkeys, snatches food and other items. This temple is very near to Vishram ghat on Yamuna river bank. We saw people there riding boat.

Sri Dwarkadheesh Mandir is one of the oldest and largest temples of Mathura city in State of Uttarpradesh of India . This is a major and famous Hindu shrine, and its current structure was built up by Seth Gokul Das Parikh, the treasurer of then Gwalior State(Scindia) in 1814, with approval and heavy donation from Shrimant Daulatrao Scindia, Maharajah of Gwalior.[2] It was built for the famous Hindu deity Dwarkadheesh (meaning the God or king of Dwarka, where Lord Krishna has shifted from Mathura and settled till his life on earth). There the main deity is of Lord Dwarkadheesh, a form of Lord Krishna seen in a black Marble idol named Dwarkanath. With him is the White marble idol of his counterpart deity goddess radhika ji.[3]
