The campus is good old vernacular style, going well with the surrounding and weather. Good place to stay for family, friends and couple friendly.Rooms and facilities are good. Monkeys are in great number in the entire Matheran and the roof being of metal sheets, its quite disturbing for the people Living inside Even in the day time as well night.The food is great worth the price.

Hotel is overall good with very basic amenities with small children play area, AC rooms enough to hold a family, nice staff and close proximity to market. Veg food is feels like home made, you will really enjoy. No complaints.

Awesome place to stay, staff is nice except the manager, the manager here is not much cooperative, we asked for room decoration but he forgot to do it and later on tried to convince us how he forgot to do so. Later he did the decoration on the next day that just using balloons (we were informed before that only balloons will be used) but the ballons were stuck just anywhere using the electric insulation tapes without any sync, the decoration seemed like the ballons were just thrown inside the room. While making a booking we were informed on the call that breakfast would be complimentary but the manager tried to rob us saying that the breakfast is not complimentary thankfully we had the call recording so he was not successful doing it.

All things were good except two things.The major drawback is their wifi....when everyone knows that there is no cellular network in entire matheran...wifi should be strong...it doesnt catch up inside the room at all ...so reconfirm before booking doneSecond we found that electrcity goes every hour...how ever they have generators to connect within minutes ...or probably coz we visited in monsoon...so not sureTV wasnt in Operation so we used our mobile movies to watch for time passOnly basic amenities ....n staff is cooperative

Very disappointed experience.Rooms are very small in size, dirty and smelling. Hotel is very old and no maintenance done. Electricity goes every alternate hours and total blackout. No phone in the room so everytime you have to go to office for anything. Weak wifi signal. No security. Monkeys trying to enter room. Total waste of money.

Its a nice small hotel with exceptional service. the hotel manager sudhirji went out of his way to provide us a better room when we raised concern about our room being very old and dilapidated. magic and juggling shows in the night were also very enjoying. the best part of the hotel was the food. being hardcore non vegetarians we had no expectations from a veg hotel but the food was so outstanding that we did not miss a single meal at the hotel.overall a very decent hotel with exceptional food.

Had a great 2N 3D stay here with family of 10 members. Everything is well managed and is value for money.Food quality was also very good with lots of Variety to try in Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.Availability of multiple Indoor games adds fun to the stay with Magic and Jugglery show to enjoy in the evening. Kids play area has multiple options to keep the little once busy for the day (Everything is included in the package).Staff is very cooperative and service is great.Room quality is OK. Needs some improvement.The resort is located nearby market, one can go walking in in evening for shopping.Couple of view points are at walking distance but to cover others i would recommend hiring a horse if you want to save time.

Fantastic place to stay at Matheran. I have recently visited here and totally loved their service, food was just amazing, clean rooms, live entertainment activities and they had plenty of games to enjoy such as carrom, badminton, cricket, and many more. Just be careful of monkeys 😅 they can come anytime and snatch your food😂 It is even nearby the market and railway station so if you have your parents or grandparents along with you, who do not want to walk much can totally prefer this place. I will not suggest you to visit market again n again as there is nothing great in the market just visit once and do the shopping and rest enjoy the property because it is amazing and very relaxing.

The place is clean, very close to the market & railway station and the staff is also very cooperative, and there is lots of space for kids to play... But I think the food part needs to improve. They only have a Thali for lunch & dinner and for breakfast they have very limited options. we stayed for 2 nights and we had Poha +bread butter on both days. Also the Thali is very costly compared to what you get in the market just 10 mins away. It rained the first day so we had no choice but to eat in the hotel itself, but the next day we went out..Overall clean place very close to market and railway station. Good place to stay but restaurant is ok-ok...

Like most Matheran, even this property is stuck in nostalgia. The service & food were good. The rooms are a bit smaller than I expected. Bed sheets needs to be changed. Check-in & Check-out was smooth. Common veranda in the middle is good space to unwind with options of games for guest & night events held post dinner. Staff is cordial & prompt. Dont expect any views from the rooms but there is nice space to chill near receptions. WiFi connectivity is an issue.

This is one of the best place to stay in Matheran. Its near from railway station. They served very tasty food which includes Breakfast, Lunch, Snaks and Dinner(pure veg). I recommend this hotel for everyone. Good staff and clean place. You can also play badminton, carrom, Chess, cricket. In the evening they arranged some magical shows.

It was a pleasant stay .so many activities to do at resorts.nice for kids as many activities for them and many toys for them. Complementary breakfast was given and taste was too good. Near by market so easy access and on the way to mamy points. Staff behaviour , Cleanliness and rooms were good.

This is one of the best budget friendly hotels.It is located very near to the market and all the tourist spots are also nearby. Staff is very polite. Room service is on point. We took along with food package. Food is also good. Good ambience too!

Overall a good stay - we had taken deluxe AC room, it was small but neat and clean. Toilet was also clean. Except soap no other toiletries are provided. We did not find any electric kettles or tea kits in the room. However they provided 1 lit water per day. One nice thing about the hotel is it provides plenty of outdoor play arena as well as seating area for all and amenities e.g. badminton, cricket, tart etc. It houses a restaurant but serves only buffet menu for breakfast, dinner etc. One negative - the hotel does not serve tea/ coffee except breakfast. We had checked in at 11:30 am after a tiring horse ride from Dosturi point - we asked for some tea or any other refreshments - the room boy said they will only start serving buffet lunch from 12:30 pm. One good part the hotel is only 5-10 mins walk to to market area where you will find plenty of restaurants to eat. I would say decent option to stay. One more point - the hotel arranges magic show and DJ in the courtyard.Plenty of play arena and playing options for kids

My stay at Hotel Premdeep was great.. The rooms are spacious.. The staffs are so polite and helpful..They have live music at night with DJ lights.. You can dance and play badminton, carrom, dart.. They have lots of jhulaas in their garden.. You cam sit all day and enjoy..

Ossum place to stay and relax in hotel after exploring matheran.Hotel is at good location and easily accessible to the local market. Hotel staff is humble and friendly and helps in all the services. Food is very nice, my suggestion is to always book with breakfast. Must stay place to make your trip memorable if u are looking for a budget hotel.

This hotel is situated back side of jama masjid. Shabbir bhai biryani wala restaurant is near to this hotel, although never tried biryani there.If you are looking for peace at night then I didnt recommend this hotel because the hotel plays DJ at night so if you are looking for peace then choose other hotels

They could do it in a single visit. Thermos does not maintain hot water temperature until morning. Glass for drinking water was chipped and had to be replaced. They play loud Bollywood music with disco lighting, between 0730pm to 10pm in the play area. People who need silence during those hours are forced to listen to it. Hot water for bathing was available 24x7, and that was the best thing. Bathroom/Restroom does not have an exhaust fan. Rooms : 2/5 Sizes are small, 10ft x 10ft is the main room. Bed covers 70-80% area. Ceilings transmit sounds of monkeys jumping on roof in the morning so we were forced to wake up earlier then planned! Wash basin too small and has no facility to hang towel/ tissue paper or keep soap. Trash Bin/ Dustbin has no trashbag or bin liners! Wardrobe is too small and has no shelves so longer stays will not be convenient. Cleanliness : 2/5 Bathroom and wash basin was not cleaned properly.

Place was located near to market. There were swings and hammocks installed for leisure. Childern play area was nice addition. Room was good, but paint coatings were coming out, seems to be recently renovated interiors. Staff was very cooperative and helpful in general. Food was good. Only situational complaint that our room light went off early morning 4 am, I loooked for help but helper told me to wait till 7 am. I feel that could have been handled on the spot.Overall it was pleasant experience, Can recommend this place for family.

We had planned a family trip to Matheran with our super energetic kids - 5 years and 11 months at the time of check-in. We were a little concerned about the possibility of a bad weather, and how would we contain our charged-up kids within the hotel. But, to our surprise, the kids were more than happy to spend their time jollying away on the ample play equipment (including outdoor games like cricket and badminton) and hammocks!Besides its proximity to the heart of Matheran (the market area), there were other good things about Hotel Premdeep: ambiance (clean rooms, nighttime music and lights, a walk in the clouds as the weather played its charm, decent and well-behaved crowd - mostly families or groups); service (good food, on-request cow milk for kids throughout the day, polite caretakers and staff); two jovial horsemen attached with the hotel arranged for our horse rides (of course paid services) and were very accommodating with the kids!Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel (especially the kids) with all that was necessary for a detox!

This hotel is on the higher back street that is parallel to the main MG Road. Good 10 min walk from station but lot of mid accessways, so very convenient. For the tariff, they offer a lot of facilities compared to the other hotels in Matheran. Very impressed with the prompt service, the excellent vegetarian food, fast Wifi network and the overall property. Lot of sports gear and games as well for entertainment. Highly recommended for a short stay esp for large families and for kids.

Food is really good and testy.Room : room are clean. I am reducing one star here because room assigned to me was having some issues like - phone was dead (for any requests I need to visit reception), shower was not functioning properly, hot water was not available in evening etc.All above listed points are ignorable. Im sure other rooms was not having same issues. Still Ill give 4/5 so that hotel management work on these issues.Overall its family place. Its nice place. Ill definitely recommend this hotel.

One of the best stay at Matheran. Close to market. Well maintained place. Service is so good. They take so much care of all guest. Will recommend you to book via online. Reasonable rates. Have some space where we can play cricket and badminton. They dont have swimming pool. Complimentary breakfast is good. They have their own restaurant but only veg food available. Rooms are nice and well maintained. No power cut issue. Hot water available only at morning time. I was bit disappointed of network issue only Vodafone network 📡 is present rest of the operators network is not available. Some times call get connect but data never work. One of horse ğŸ man reside close to this hotel. He charge reasonable horse ride to visit all points. Actually total 38 points are there but they charge 450 rs per horse for 12 points. And 250 for 5 points. Points which are famous and photogenic places. But I visited during off season so in season time they might charge more you can bargain with them.
