Its an inexpensive stay, so the facilities are very basic. But it has ample space to enjoy with family & friends. The food is its forte. Its quite far from Matheran Station however.

Hotel is nice and staff is very cooperative.But people is shouting till midnight.Dont go if you are looking for peace and relaxation.No intercom. no responsible staff (even singhe hotel staff) after 10 oclock night.Food is good but restaurant is full of stains.

Worst place to stayNo safety majors for coronaNo sanitizer No handwashNo hygiene , even bedsheets are dirtyStaff is really good polite but the rules and time table make you feel like jail , they come ten times to tell you their lunch dinner and even tea time ...No room service bell or intercom , every time you need something you need to go out and search for staffFood quality is just okay with no option of non veg ...So if you are non veg lover dont just go hereElectricity is also the problem , there are frequent power cuts but they will not start generator unless you panic and tell them to start and at nights those power cuts are really horrible if you have children with you

Nice Hotel with nice food. M visiting this place since many years. Food taste is now not like earlier days. Now they have build small cottage type rooms which are charged same as their regular rooms. Overpriced. Staff is very good and co-operative. Their manager Gulabbhai is also very co-operative and such a nice person.

Its a nice property to stay at Matheran. Slightly away from hustle bustle of the main market. Whole resort is surrounded by thick jungle canopy. Rooms are clean with all basic amenities and reasonably priced compare to the hotels in town. Sweeming pool is small but well maintained. They serve vegetarian food. Food quality is good and hygienic. Overall good place to spend your week ends with family in peaceful environment.

BEST for JAINS....Awesome experience... Rooms were clean....food was awesome... On demand they do provide JAIN food, that too really good in taste & quality... Staff was also polite...apart from Room & food...they have amenities like swimming pool, carom, table tennis, badminton...all in good condition...its worth staying there in whole Matheran...

Me & and my wife stayed for 2 nights at this hotel firstly i would mention about the food & cleanliness secondly the staff support and thirdly the location which made our stay in this hotel a success. The manager himself is so down to earth that he comes and surves the food to his costumers which out any hesitation, the indoor games are lovable and well maintained the swimming pool is just awesome and countinuesly cleaned the location is one of the factor will make you stay and more days because of its covering by tall trees and the sound they make when the wind blows will make your mind blow away, they have gardens, jhulas, Khatlas, and chairs available in all the areas to relax all day long.Lastly i would say its a very reasonable stay cost wise and the food will remind you of home like tasteHighly recommended to all. Beware of monkeys around will always be around you to snatch your food away from you.😂😀😁

My 1st trip to matheran with my friends, little bit away, but it was an amazing experience at Bombay view hotel. The Hotel is sooo beautiful and peaceful.Pool, table tennis, carrom and Dj everything is available at the hotel.Gulab Bhai is the caretaker of the hotel is a very friendly and helpful person. Food was beyond good and great value for money and service. Room was well equipped and comfortable. Altogether it was a short sweet and memorable trip. Hope to be back for a visit in future. Strongly recommending people for this hotel.
