This Hotel is just a walking distance from Kasar Devi Temple Almora and has a magnificent view of the Himalayas. The rooms need a little more cleanliness. Washroom was ok. Hot water available. Very good for budget stay. Food is very tasty. Butter chicken was yummy

New Dolma Hotel is budget friendly, is at a great location - Kasar Devi Temple couldnt be nearer, Restaurant serves great food at unbelievable (cheap) price. Service staff is friendly, helpful & are prompt at their appointed duties. Vehicles both 4 & 2 Wheelers are available at reasonable price. In house shop selling woolen clothes are reasonably priced. Wifi is available at reasonable speed. Be sure to stay in the Semi-deluxe room as they are very reasonably priced and have an amazing view.

On the basis of many good reviews about the food of this place we ordered a take away of Dal (the tadka was overcooked and burnt), aloo-gobhi (no salt-we dont prefer high salt. There was no flavour), rice -undercooked, paneer kali mirch -salt on higher side, uncooked matar and paneer in matar-paneer, chicken kali mirch ok-ok and little undercooked and on the top of it.....all Chapatis were burnt. No provision of giving any less than 1 star so bound to give that. A poor experience.

It was better but not too good because theres many things that are not workinglike tv geager and the most important lights .But the food was interesting

Big size room as per the expectations, cleaned bedsheets and Mount facing balcony, very good location.Bathroom is not maintained, food quality is not upto the mark and they dont maintain hygiene.overall satisfied because of nice location.

Hot water in the early morning is a problem. Food was very good . Value for money. Staff are very good. U will feel at home. Bath room mirror needs to be changed . There should be another mirror in the bedroom

The steamed momos were oily and the filling was of horrible taste.

The hotel was a good Savior. the location is very close to Kasar devi which gives access to a lovely sunset. there are Clarks ridge ahead in a short walk. the rooms are clean , toilets though big need little make over. best are the views of sun rise right from the window. the restaurant cooks good meals at decent prices. if you have a vehicle along this place is very convenient far from the chaos. the owner is also a helpful guy. totally recommend.

Amazing experience. The view was amazing, all the amenities were great, the restraunt was clean and the food was good, outside catering helps to enjoy the view. Value for money. Over all, If one go for a good location with an amazing view with a very reasonable price of the accomodation than one should book this hotel. But the food can be much better if they change their cook as food was not good at all. I would have given 5* if food was good.Kasar Devi Temple entrance is 50 steps away from the hotel. An amazing hill top Temple with a great history........one must go for atleast 3 days there and should go upto Shiva Temple few more steps/stairs up from Kasar Devi Temple.

The food was damn tasty. The workers are very hardworking. It was an amazing experience at Dolma. From the view to the service I loved it all. Must stay at Dolma.

The hotel is the best in terms of their location,food and behavior of the stuffs. The manager Mr.Pan Singh as well as other assotiates are very much cooperative and will help you in every possible way to make your trip memorable. The hotel is situated in a lovely location of the hilltop of Almorah, surronded by the natures utmost beauty. You can feel the whistle of greens. Whatever you can see from here, your mind will be spellbound by natures beauty. Their food is also awesome. Dont forget to taste Pepper Chicken and non vej momo. Price is lesser compared to other hill resturant.

I stayed over there and my stay was outstanding. Hotel is completely value for money. Every thing was smooth there. facilities are satisfactory. Service was wonderful over there. Hotel is nicely located and easily accessible. Its a very neat and clean property.

Location is 10 km away from Almora, away from crowd , on a hill top, has great view.it has its own lawn where you can sit up to late night.but remember the remote location may be difficult to find in night arrival.food is cheap, hygienic and good.

New Dolma is run by a Tibetan family. The place is around 5 KMS from Almora town setup in wilderness. This place is not suitable for family stay as lots of rowdy travellers and locals visit this place for food which is economical.

The worst hotel i had ever stayed. the wrds r short to discuss about the issues we faced. wet carpet, broken toilet seat, no water in bathroom in the night v checked in. no hot water in morning even after waiting 2 hours. i read the negtv reviews, still i booked it. it ws my big fault.wen v said v r chekng out aftr 2 nites thy askd fr the pymnt of 3 nites n the ownr ws nt accptng hs faults...also thr ws hairs in thr food v ordered. vry bad cook n food. i wl nvr evr recommend ths hotel..
