Nice, tidy, bright and organized place. I had the chance to purchase new items (original tag present) that are unused and branded. Workers are calm and helpful.
Value Village gives a second life to things that may go into the garbage and land fills so it is good to take advantage of this when possible. This store was clean and organized and they followed covid protocols so the line up to get in was long. But once in then you can take your time shopping. One thing to note is that there are no fitting rooms as they have been taken down due to covidIf you like my reviews, photos or videos give them a thrifty thumbs up.
Good value. Great selection of items. Different every time of course.
Its our thing for my cousin and me. When we together V.V. is where we go. Ive gotten quite a few items that I couldnt be happier with. We really enjoy going there. However we do feel that the merchandise is overpriced considering everything is donated. Still if we look carefully and know a little bit sometimes you can find some real bargains.
This was my first time entering a thift store! It was quite the experience and there is something for everyone at a very reasonable and cheap price! Remember to sign up for their loyalty program so that you can get 30% off coupon for any item in the store! There is a hidden gem for everyone!
First experience here. It was definitely different. They have a whole range of all household items, clothes, electronics and other stuff. Some stuff is really really good. They have discount coupons also. They have return policy too.It is a must check out if u have a house to set up.
Fabulous staff and kind and considerate manager especially Mary. A treasure hunt for sure but always worth the effort. Prices are getting to high and some clothes cheaper elsewhere. Be aware that this is a for profit store and it really bothers me that we pay tax on items that have already been taxed.
Friendly customer service. Clean store and presence. Fairly and reasonable priced clothing accessories and more
My favorite place for found something good interesting and nice for me and my family. Love those stores.
Its a big store with a huge variety of old and new items. Its fully stocked with merchandiseAnd the people r very friendly
Overall was a good experience. The place was well organized and it was not too busy. The donation center is open as well, which was great.
This Value Village so good that their goods sorts crystal clear, aisles wide, different department all easy to get. I love their book area, not so big, but have something very great, like I got one great book named The Road to Serfdom” , the auther is Great famouse people F.A. Hayek, the version looks like from 1965 HongKong, and its by mandarin, so lucky of me! Its truly hard to find a mandarin The Road to Serfdom” book at this time in China now, the dictator CCP totally ban a book like this and ruin all the academies and foolish all the people there, so sad of it. People who love peace and civilization, please Never forget this book, truth in it.
Things at this location are expensive. Some housewares cost about the same as new so you have to know your prices before you buy. There are a good selection though.
Great location to drop off gently used clothing for reuse. They also accept working electronics.
The place is nice. Just needs to be a little more organized with its inventory.
Could use more people out on the floor tiding up. It looked like a Tornado went through there. Clothes all over the floor, and in the wrong racks, hanging off of hangers. Just looked unkept. I know this place has potential...but it seemed that there just wasnt enough staff working.
Very clean and organized especially during COVID times.
Great place to drop off your donations, give them 2nd life
Nice place and well organized. Reasonable prices to those whore budgeting 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great selection and prices seem to be less expensive than downtown.
The best 2nd hand thrift store ever!
Having worked retail for many years I recognize the frustration of being expected to give generous service for minimum wage but at times I feel like ife been faced with some frustrating bare minimum service here
This store has a lots of good stuff, clothes shoes and more
Prices are to high at this store. Its a thrift store the last time I remembered but when I looked at most of the items I felt I was at a high end store in Yorkdale Mall. What a joke, Avoid.
Took my stuff in a flash. Happy to give to those in need
Good store. Will be back again soon.
I love finding hidden treasures here! However, clothing-wise, I dislike how the prices have increased over the last few years.Yes, you can still find some decent stuff, but if youre only looking for fun clothes, Platos closet is a good bet. Prices are about the same, and clothes are in general much better condition.
I always find something I like from this location. I know people saying you should always go to a better neighborhood so you can find better stuff, but this location never fail me.
Great store...clean.
Went to the store for the very first time to donate a bag of different items that would otherwise end up in the landfill. I was received outside the store, dropped off the bag in the bin, received a $2 coupon for my donation and thanked for supporting the store. Excellent and courteous service by the staff members. Highly recommended!
Good place to look mainly for needy people....
My experience is that some of the clothes are getting expensive they used to be cheap
I bought a electric kettle from here, the staff was nice and told me if kettle did not work they have 7 days exchange program. For clothing there is wide variety to choose from and for electronics its okay. Will visit this location soon.
The manager is very rude and unhelpful. Her lack of customer service skills makes me wonder how she became a manager. Avoid her at all costs.
Always great finds. Just gotta dig around.
Found quite a few good items at this location. There have been a lot value villages with sky rocketed prices recently and this one was decently priced. Managed to get a couple of good work pants, some random basic work shirts. My Dad originally came looking for old Turntables, he had found a couple but they were not exactly what he was looking for so he ended up leaving with some sony headphones. Overall, I would return to this location again. I will say that this location could benefit from lowering some of their prices. I understand there is a pandemic and everything but mcdonalds Toys being sold at $5 when thats more than a Happy Meal seems unrealistic. And I also understand that I cant control what the prices are but a majority of these items are donated so when I see $100 for a Gamecube I start to question whether this is a thrift store or a swap shop. I would still recommend giving this location a shot. Most of these thrift stores have been overall okay. Better prices would mean more business in my opinion. There have been items that I have seen people pick up and put right back down because the item was overpriced.
Good clean store, large selections.
This is a great VV. Its massive and has great selection of everything. Staff are helpful too
Food stuff. Love the bread and cake
Lot of items in reasonable price
Good things in value village
Most of the products are as expensive as buying it new or used, including shipping, from online retailers. Id rather pay the same amount and have products shipped to my door
Just ok,their products are all used ,some are from OASIS,do u want to buy clothes from them?
Nice to buy different stuff.
Location is large and the staff are very friendly. With social distancing and all it doesnt feel crowded and everything is still pretty organized too. They have a fairly large mens section with a good amount of variety as well. Although I wish the change rooms were open, I understand why they arent and they still have their return policy too.
Very cooperative staff, they greet you as soon as you enter and are ready to help with any issue you have.
The good thing. This place is always packed of new goods for people who likes to recycle and bargain price. or slightly used items . The bad thing customer service lack a little bit and they dont accept exchange like other Value villages which is odd cause this policy should be accross the board .
Good drop off location for gently used house hold items and clothing.
Good place for donating and buying used things.
I dropped off some used clothing. It doesnt take me long
Love this place to dispose my unwanted belongings.
Store was clean and well organized could use more staff !
This location is a hit or miss. Some visits I’ve found really nice items but not always. Prices have increased significantly over the years. The MOD with short blonde hair has an attitude problem.
Geat
Had some great stuff and everyone was very spaced out
This is a very large value village. The place was very organized and the manager was good at getting more cashiers when the lines started to build at the front.Very little furniture but they are at the whims of their donations
Ive been here serval times and I can find what Im looking for more of the time. I like their clothing section, Ive got some good deals here. Like every thrift store, timing could play a factor, I couldnt find a soccer ball in the store.
Our favorite spot to buy second hand good stuff! The best that works for us. The area for kids toys were change, they put it near the cashiers. I think they did that purposely so that the parents wont leave their kids unsupervised. Good idea!
Great place to donate to the needy
Best VV in the GTA. I always find cool vintage pieces, as well as high end brands such a Aritzia and Zara.
Found a Rolex here for 40 bucks
So many great thrift finds if you take a little time to look. The staff are friendly and its a great place to donate too. 4 stars because the books and toy section was so messy when we were there to look at the books. My daughter brought home some great reads!
Good place to shop
Markham location has better selections
Im a fan of value villages in general but this particular one is so disorganized and poorly managed Ill drive to further ones instead of shopping here
Great items
This location is spacious for social distancing, and has quite a wide range of items.
Good and clean, not the best merchandise when I went a couple of weeks ago (begining of December)
Great place and value
Its the Best Value Village in town. I wont believe How cheap this one is when I get used to charge high price for the preowned items. Also, the staff in this store are very nice. Really recommend for the preowned shoppers.
Large location with lots of variety, a speedy donation drop-off, friendly staff, free parking, and wheel chair accessability.
Friendly staff, good crowd control and a very clean store. Nicely done!
The shop is near and clean, price is reasonable especially for seniors. I really like your books and electronic
3.5 stars, they told me on the phone they had video games , but they only had computer games. it was a long drive that day but they where right a computer game is a video game.... thank you
Always a great place to drop off unused treasures & find another treasure. Thank you for giving us a chance to reduce, reuse & recycle!
Good deals but have to enter early to get the good stuff
Value Village is a gem! Clean, excellent customer service! The racks are always filled and items properly marked for size and price! The discount for Seniors on Tuesday is such a blessing! Love getting new to me clothing, accessories and so much more there. A great thrift/second hand store!
Good clothing selections but not many hidden treasures
Not much options or things available as other value Village
I love value village.... its clean, theres hand sanitizer at the door as you enter, store associate is there to assist you. The store is very good at helping maintaining social distancing......clothes are clean....I got se lovely summer tops for myself.....very happy to be in there
Pretty good inventory of anything you want. You really can get almost anything here for extremely cheap. Even saw wedding dresses for around $60 if a bride is in need for something cheap. They looked to be in great condition as well. Electronics may it may not work but you may be able to test them out before you buy with an outlet near the electronics section. The book collection rivals that of a real Indigo with many different types of books including some vintage ones that a collector may be interested in. I got the entire Lord of the Rings set plus The Hobbit in near mint condition for a total of $15. You also get one book free if you buy 4. 5 books for $15, 4 of which being mint condition Tolkiens is a steal. The board game and toys section is pretty decent as well. Got a chess set for $3 with no pieces missing. Its also a great place to get costumes for Halloween for cheap. Definitely recommend, will definitely be coming back.
Awesome deals, well set up to handle the corna virus. Overall very positive experience.
Love this place. The volume of great deals on everything from clothing to home goods to electronics is great. The staff are very polite and helpful and with the constantly changing inventory its rare for me to shop there and not find a great deal on a great item.My only downside is that they dont sell vinyl (12 records) but its a small price to pay for all the great deals I continue to find!
Great place ..
Super big store that is well lit and pretty clean. Nice parking lot as well. Plenty of options to choose from and you can find a couple gems if you take your time and look. Great selection of Halloween costumes and make up.
Very nicely laid out, clean and COVID safety protocols in place.
Love it! honestly just has an amazing selection of clothes and decorations.
I was expecting to be more organized. Nice stuff and pretty big.
I love to get small little extra items for home.Pots and bottles for my plants is all worth it!
Extremely large and clean! One of the nicest value values Ive been to!
