This place serves the best /amazing south Indian food in Margao . Specially their masala dosa and mixed bhaji Puri is to die for.

Old building and poor ambience but great food with reasonable rates

Nice place and old place, it could do with some refurbishment but the place still attract a good crowd. the name has a lot of history attached as these are one of the oldest people in the hotel industry. The Kamat chain of hotels are all over India and some places.abroad as well.authentic South Indian food available amd taste is also not bad.

Decent food. They ran out of chapattis by the time we reached there, but then again it was 3pm. The employees were nice and service was fast.

Owner thinks he is doing a favour by letting us eat food here. Pls stop fooling people with pathetic food. Poori bhaji is made from Maida, bons is fully oily, they dont give dipped idli wada sambar, even if we are ready to pay for extra sambar.

This place is situated right besides the road very close-by to colva circle... There is only parking for 2 wheelers which is usually occupied ... The hotel is managed very well... It is a good place to eat if you are a vegan and want to have a quick bite or thali lunch... In the mornings it serves various south indian dishes of which medu wada is a must... You can also drop by here to have snacks like Vadas, samosas, cutlets etc... There is table service available here... The tables are cleaned often and the waiters are very quick in taking orders...the seating is good and the ambience is decent... If you are on time crunch then this is a good local place to eat... The thalis served during lunch are decent for their price with options of veg only... There is also an Ac section available... The crowd here is usually locals on the go... Would definitely recommend this place if you are in a hurry and want decent food and service.. The place however is cash only which is expected... Overall good place for quick local bite

Highly over priced , No Toilet / Rest rooms , TAX EVASION .Visiting this hotel was one of my worst experience in GOA , just went in after checking the brand name KAMATH but its worst than any road side Kake da dabha and the prices are kept high as if they are serving some high standard food . Food being served here is of very ordinary quality i felt it was adulterated . eat any thing bill for two will cross 200 rs for sure.Worst thing is many of the tourists enter such hotels located on the road side to use rest rooms however they dont even have a urinals for such tourists .more over they dont even provide a GST bill and will give you some blank paper bill , however going by the customers and the bills they are charging they must be minting millions of rupees annually , but by providing fake bills without TIN or GST number and they are evading large amount of taxes and minting money there .It looks like officially GOA is one such state of INDIA where in its legal to prey upon the innocent tourists and loot them daily and on the other hand provide them with fake bills without GST/TIN number and evade taxes .In fact its these very tourists bring in millions / billions of rupees annually in terms of revenue and pay taxes wherever its necessary .However in spite of being such a small state the state GST authority is surprisingly silent on such Hotels evading taxes and looting tourists .

Nothing special a normal restaurant, the waiters here didnt even care us even after calling them several times, can improve their hospitality

Higher cost for less quntity food items. Shabudana khichadi 80 RS. Idli sambar 80 rs..dont expect quantity for 80 rs... quality was reasonable not bad though...but not worth it..will tray avoid next time...

A great place to have quick and aesthetic south Indian breakfast and snacks. I was quiet amazed by the Indian buns ( aka Mangalore buns) it was prepared little bit differently than the usual once I have been having since I was small, it was truly good (Incase if you order, please eat it with chutney as it goes really well w/ it). Surely a place I wil visit again if Im around Margao again.
