This is where I studied from 1975 to 1979. Fond memories. A shaping and lasting influence in my life. It taught me (much of) what I know, gave me the confidence to get ahead, and above all got me interested in fields like general knowledge, which perhaps lead to journalism in time. (For the last, thanks to teachers like Sir Ivan Rocha and our librarian Mr Almeida, both from Parra.)Today, have been an active part of this schools alumni network which has been active for a long time, and more so since 1996. Google and youll find it.In our time, it was known for its strictness (we had Fr Vincent Gomes Catao sj as principal). But that was fine, and we grew to appreciate it. Easily one of the most reputed schools in Mapusa, set up around 1946.
