Pros:- Timely delivery & Drop off at the AirportCons:- Commitment of Swift but got Toyota Etios at the time of delivery- The car was in bad condition (mechanically)- The Battery died 4-5 times during the rental period- Had to push start the car every time- The customer service did not respond during such times. Finally had to coordinate with the person who delivered the car to us at the airport. He managed to send some mechanic to fix the issue (after 2 whole days) but the battery problem still did not get completely solved.

Horrible cars and service! They running this scam where they make you take a video do the car at night and then while giving back they car, they find small scratches and charge you a bomb. They just charged me 12000 for a small scratch. Next time consider a different vendor such as Joe car rentals.

It appears to be better among the other unreliable self driven rentals in Goa. The call center does work and they revert when you need clarifications. I had booked a Etios Liva for 5 days from Airport. Car given was in good driving condition but lot of stains on the seats etc. Some of the other cars booked from them were in a lot better condition than ours. A video of the car was taken during handover which was compared while returning. They also took one of the ID proofs - original document as security and returned it when the car was returned.

Total ripoff, when you think rental cars you think a fleet of cars not older than 2-3 years old and properly maintained. This is not the case with Lime Car. They showed up at my hotel with a very old Fortuner that was very beat up and hard damage allover the underneath, body, and interior. Car smelled, the glove box didnt work and the tires are bald. They are technically not even road worthy.The manger stated he would refund the money when I would not accept the car in that condition. They started they would either send the money to my bank account, that didnt happen or return to my credit card. Neither happened and they refuse to communicate. Please safeguard your money and time and stay far away.

A simple word of advice for everyone, kindly book from anywhere but limecar. I booked online and paid complete amount, after that I kept trying to get further details but with their poor ivr options, it’s impossible to contact them. Furthermore, i was asked to get to my resort by a prepaid cab and the car would be delivered there, whereas I booked the car from airport to airport.I had booked grand i10 which was supposed to be new in condition. But I was delivered very old swift in horrible condition almost 4 hours after my scheduled time. The car was not clean at all with mud and sand inside and outside the car. Luckily I made a video of the car, because while returning, the guy questioned me about the broken bumper. These guys are not worth taking so much stress. Kindly book from near your resort or hotel as every hotel has a tie up with some agency. Where you can examine the car and then pay without wasting your time.

Very dirty car, seats were full of spots. There were chips crumbles lying all onside the car. The inside space next to the driver seat was very dirty and not cleaned. They charge you full amount beforehand so there is nothing you can do.

Lime car is run by goons . Do not rent a car using lime car . They will take you on a roller coaster ride , when returning the car by falsely accusing that there are damages done to the car , which were already present when we took the car . You have better car rental services you can opt for in Goa .

Fraud company. There is no insurance for cars. All the responsibility is of the customer. No one replies to emails. No one answers the calls either. Beware!

A very poor and pathetic company. Wouldnt recommend to anyone. Didnt get the car I booked and was given a private car which is illegal. If you get stopped by cops you are screwed. The car was in worst condition, so hard to drive and seemed like hadnt been seeviced or cleaned in years. Their handler named Abdul kept on promising he will give a replacement car but nothing happend after several follow ups. Customer care never picks up. Dont go for this.

November 2020: Rented a car for two days. Bad experience. Dubious agency. NOT value for money at all. (1) Was NOT provided the model of car that was ordered (2) Condition of the car was abysmally poor - bald tyres and bad suspension, wobbly steering, worn out and smelly interior (3) had ordered airport delivery and return and paid for that - the driver did not arrive on time to pick up the vehicle, causing much stress. (4) The cars are registered as private vehicles, not permitted to be rented out. If the police stop you, or if you meet with an accident, you will be in trouble. The car maybe seized. Beware.

Pathetic service.Booked Innova crysta for 6 days. But they delivered old model Innova that too in very bad shape & dirty condition. Tried for processing refunds but got no confirmation in this issue. Very late & casual response from customer care too.Delivered vehicle 1.5 hours late than scheduled pickup time at airport & we had too wait till then.

2 words - Horrible Experience.First I had booked a Swift from Karmali to Karmali for 3 days. I had paid about Rs5000. Then I realised Madgaon was more convenient, so I cancelled it. I cancelled it on 27th December. Its been 1 month now, I still havent received the refund. In the beginning when I called them, they said refund will be done soon. I have been calling, emailing and Whatsapping them after that but no reply at all. The customer care number constantly says executives are busy. I dont know how else to get my money back.I had booked a Swift from Madgaon to Madgaon after cancelling the previous one for which I still havent received the refund. Once I reach Madgaon, another surprise awaits. They gave me a Etios Liva and when I confronted them, they said this car is better. The reason I chose Swift is that I am comfortable driving it. This company clearly doesnt care about its customers. They had collected my original PAN card. They dont give us a photocopy of the cars documents. They literally said, Police pakad liya to hume call kardena, humara setting hain. While returning back home, I was tight on time. I had a train at 4:10, I reached the station at 4. They began probing the car and told me about minor scratches. These scratches were so minor that even if you washed the car, it would go away. But no, they had to charge money. They charged me Rs2500 for a minor scratch. Unfortunately, I didnt have time to argue with them since I had a train to catch. I also wasnt able to click a picture of it. On top of that they werent ready to give my original PAN card back until I paid them money.For my refund, I guess I dont have any option but to take legal action against them

My order no is 225679. I requested for Toyota Etios Liva and paid accordingly. I was delivered with Maruti Suzuki Swift. The car was in worst condition. Customer care never picked up phone. Delivery guy named Abdul denied any replacement and presented ridiculous excuse. As I preplanned my trip with family, I had to take that abominable car. Do not take any service from this company. No customer service. They simply take your money first and cheat you.

This is the most unreliable rides service. The car provided by them was in the worst possible condition. AC not working. Car not cleaned up. Delay of 1.5 hours in car delivery. And since it was completely prepaid on the website they do not bother. Its like take it or leave it, they will not return your money back in any case.

Worst Car Rental Service ever. The car you get will be delivered to you very very late and will have dozens of operational issues. They wont give you any documents related to the Car. You might have to pay heavy penalty if you get caught by the local police. The person named Abdul has no sense of talking, and he might not return your ID Card to you, just like he didnt to me. (Making an excuse of sending it by courier, which he has never). I would literally not recommend to anyone.

Very bad communication. After paying full amount you get one sms and post that no details or response from them. The call centre options are limited and finally when you get through to some one they are curt saying an sms will come. You are tensed till you finally get the car. When returning the car again it is the same. All the more worrying as they keep a copy of your original ID. They then make you get off at the entrance and refuse to drop you into the airport. You need to carry your luggage and walk. Little difficult with kids to manage. After I reached back home I got a call from some one saying they are waiting to pick up the car from me. When I said I already returned it he cut the call. I emailed on their common ID about it. No response on that for almost a day now. Very bad experience.

I would not recommend it to anyone for sure.Firstly, I did not get the car of my choice due to some issue and they asked to give me another car which was available to which I agreed.When the car came, it was filled with dirt everywhere and when asked about the dirty condition,I was told to get it washed myself. Since I had already paid all the amount in advance, I didnt have an option but to take the car that moment.Later upon driving the car from airport to the place I was staying, I realised the car was lacking service and the music system, the car seat adjuster, the air conditioner and the headlights were not in proper condition.I called the person to change my car and was told that Ill get another one the next day but to my surprise, he stopped picking up my calls and when I somehow managed to connect with him, he again told me hell call me back which never happened.All in all, it was a very bad experience and I feel cheated.Please do not rely on Reliable Rides.

You are completely blinded when it rains.4) Car pick up was 2 hrs late. I almost missed my flight because of that.

Horrible is the one word. The vehicle reported late with almost zero fuel in the tank! No documents in the car at all. Instructed to call on the designated number if the cops stop to check. Much our dislike the cops stopped and the issue was mysteriously sorted out between the cop and the person on other side for a ‘consideration’ which in all fairness was assured to be returned to us on returning the vehicle. We reached back to deliver the car and informs well in advance of the time of arrival at the airport. The person turned up to collect the vehicle after making us wait for one a half hours in the sweltering climate!!! The ‘consideration’ promise was, as expected, not kept. We returned the vehicle which was reasonably dented and an old model with no split ac vents in the rear seats. Overall very disappointed. Please be careful if you are planning to hire vehicle from here.

Terrible, booked a baleno and got a battered unkept Hyundai i20. Try to call the numbers given on the site and you will get no response. Delivery driver was a casual irresponsible type of person. I have booked a self drive car (Hyundai Grand i10) through Lime Car and it was seamless being online and I was very impressed. However, the caveat is that the amount has to be paid in full in advance while booking which didnt bother me as anyways I have to pay, be it before or after. After the booking I received an SMS with booking Id. Everything is fine till now but the actual story is after this. Now on the journey day I was expecting the car details as to who will give me the car at the Goa airport and I was bit nervous that I havent received any SMS nor email. I tried to contact the support but couldnt succeed. I wrote an email to the address provided on the website but no response. The contact number provided on the website is an IVR system where there are two options. 1 is for new inquiry and dialing 9 will connect to the support executive. Option 2 is for the existing customers and all that I get to hear is that I will get the details shortly. I tried using option 1 to get in touch with the support executive but all my attempts went in vain. My flight was at 12:50 pm and I kept on trying to reach them till 12:00 pm. I might have tried almost 20 to 25 times but there was no support executive at all. It was high time that I realized my mistake of paying the entire amount in advance. I was travelling with my young children and didnt want to bother them with the situation. After several attempts, finally someone attended the call and confirmed that I will get the driver and car details shortly and I did receive the details in few minutes. At least it gave me some relief. After reaching the Goa airport, I called the guy, Abdul and he asked us to walk out of the Airport as self drive cars are not allowed inside the airport premises. With no option we walked out of the airport and after few minutes, he arrived with the car. I took a video and photos of the car. It was an old one with lots of scratches and dents, so I was very cautious in taking the video and photos to capture every detail. Finally I returned the car at the Goa airport and came back home. Yes, it did serve my purpose but the emotional trauma before the trip was pathetic. Lesson learnt that I need to be more diligent with such bookings. What if I never got any response from Lime Car? There is no alternative contact number and yes I can file a complaint based on my booking Id and the corporate address specified on the website. My review is not to defame them but for them to realize their way of communication and the importance of providing information on time. I dont know, probably it was just with me as I see everyone giving a 5 star rating which was the main reason for me to opt Lime Car. However, I request everyone to think twice before going with such bookings and not end up with nervousness/emotional trauma like me. I will rate this as 2 starts because it served my purpose in Goa otherwise it would be just 1 star.You know what, even today after my trip to Goa, if I try to contact them and being an existing customer, when I select option 2 through their IVR, I still hear....Your booking is confirmed and you will get the details shortly. Bummer.....

We booked a Thar on 20th July from Goa Airport and we landed at 7 am, we kept calling both the numbers on website continuously for around 40 minutes and no one responded. Then we had to take cab ourselves and reach hotel. Shabbir the owner called back at around 10 am and without being sorry informed that car will reach hotel. The car condition was bad in terms of very dirty from inside and no number plate in front and rude behavior of driver too.We were handed over a challan by Goa police for not having a front number plate for which Shabbir refused initially and blamed us for destroying it.Very bad experience overall and would not recommend anyone to book it from this website.

I hired self drive car from 26.10.2016 to 30.10.2016. Delivery & collection was very nice & punctual. Staff behavior was good & responsive. Car condition was excellent. Had a Great experience of Self drive in Goa which kept us mobile.

Mr Shabir the owner of this company is extremely rude and arrogant person. Not to mention totally unprofessional. Misled by their website I thought of this as a professional set up but the website is just a sham. After the payment the car never reached us the next day, nor did anyone answer the phones and when I finally got through on the phone the owner was busy telling me stories and misleading me about when the car will come and why it hasnt reached yet. Tired of his stories I told him that I want cancellation since you cannot provide the vehicle in time and ur rude. He agreed to refund but did not do it for two days and again kept lying and making stories till I finally went to the Anjuna police station and made a complaint. only then he sent a person with the money who was also extremely rude and kept saying that we dont care about bad reviews it doesnt matter and al you can do is just write reviews. Please be aware of them and also read other peoples reviews, some of whom have been through much worse experiences.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would have done it. We ordered a i10 ( had booked it online). They gave us a kwid which had practically no brakes. When we asked to change it they said they have no replacement. They replaced it the next day. Then when we used the car the other day, the car was stopped by the police and when they told us that the company is not paying taxes and I have to keep the car with the police. Police was cordial and helpful but we had to go to the police station. Not somewhere you wanna go with your wife. The man didnt even pay us the complete money back and no one came for help for one complete hour. Pathetic pathetic experience.

Cant agree more with other reviews. There were no documents when they handed over the car to us. When asked, they asked to call on their number if caught by the Police. They also do not have a proper office location to pick up or drop the car off, which resulted us in paying a penalty for no parking. Overall a risky business.

This is worst,Gave them a call and explained them my itinerary and asked if any discounts in price(as a end customer i have complete right to ask).Instead of reverting on my query he directly disconnected the call and when ringed him again to ask if disconnected he said yes and said we dont provide discounts.This is ridiculous if you cannot provide any discount you should speak and covey that you cannot provide discount etc. and not just hang up the phone.Worst not recommended at all.

Would not recommend. The first car we got was in bad condition (AC ineffective, very slow pickup). It had run 1.4lakh+ km. Had to follow up multiple times to get a replacement, which was only slightly better. Both the cars were equally untidy and poorly maintained. Basically ruined half a day of my vacation with family.

If you want options and good prices, guess you need book atleast 48 hrs in advance. Have been checking their website for few days and decided to just call and inquire if they have hatchbacks or sedans today if I book. The guy informs, they have no cars for today besides SUV which cost Rs4800. Either they were really booked or they have few cars but the website is made to look fancy or you really need to book 48 hrs in advance which Im not sure i would do bcoz the website gives you so many options but today there were none which is weird

The car that was given to me was with white board and apparently they are illegal to be driven in Goa and on top of that the local taxi drivers near our resort threatened me to vacate the car and called police and I was forced to give back the car.I had no problem with Shabbir and his team, they were prompt in giving the car in good condition and they are very friendly and assisted me on time when I was in trouble, they also gave back my money. Thanks for that, but please check for the car with black board (which is legal) so that you can drive hassle free in Goa and not to be harassed by local taxi goons. 2 stars for that, otherwise five stars from me for reliable car rent

Worst experience with this self drive company. I booked for a diesel i20 and I got an old Baleno which was really old. All the four tyres were bald unusable. We had 3 incidents of flat tyres. Really unprofessional team.

I booked the i10 car from their website 15 days in advance with full payment. On the morning of booking the driver came to deliver the car and gave me a shock by saying that they cannot provide i10 grand and instead gave me Renault kwid.First of all everyone knows that there is lot of difference between kwid and i10. The worst thing that they did was instead of informing me in advance they directly shocked me by delivering wrong car on the morning of delivery date.Now when I saw the condition of the car, first of all its rear tyre.was damaged and had the risk of bursting and the spare tire was also damaged.The car bootspace carpet was wet due to lot of water existing there. I had to personally clean the water.The car was really dirty and the AC wasnt also in best possible condition. They do not care anything about safety of passenger and are giving defected vehicles.When I talked to the manager they told me that they could not arrange i10 and kwid will cost the same. Now even a fool knows the difference between kwid and i10.I would like to advise people to avoid reliable rides and look for other better options. Reliable rides only has a good website and nothing else. They do not have any ethics and are looting people and are taking advantage of peoples limited time.

This rental service is probably one of the best services Goa has. The entire process starting from delivery to return of the car was hassle free. The only drawback or a very negligible aspect about this service is that they dont pick up calls whatsoever before 9am . So incase somthing like this happens you have have to chill bcz thier service is going to be great for sure!I strongly recommend you chose this rental service during your trip.

Please dont trust the reviews and their website as you will feel it easy to book a self drive car without making any advance payment. I have waited near the airport for 2 hours and called the owner for 100s of times later realised that he was a cheater, irresponsible and untrusty. Please avoid this if you dont want to put you in trouble.
