Excellent Bakery
Love their local bread called Poi and the Pav too. So if you arrive at about 1 in the afternoon you can sure take away fresh hot freshly made Goan specials.
Fresh stuff . Also reasonable variety and fairly good quality of eatables
Excellent coconut poie.... a must have. The pinaag (Goan sweet) is also amazing
The sweet bol with coconut is awesome
My favourite stop for buying locally-made snacks, pastries and more. This is a home-run bakery. Traditional Goan style, which was taught to the locals by the Portuguese. They have a range of products. I like their coconut bread (something in between bread and a cake, and fairly reasonably priced). Ditto for their wide range of Goan sweets, like bol, pinagre, etc. They have prawn, beef and such patties. The service is prompt and professional, and the family running this business is rather friendly. Have had a lot of good experiences here. Its on the way between my village and Mapusa, so sometimes its a stop to take home things, or just to refresh oneself. There is a tiny one-or-two-table space for snacking, and they also sell coffee and ice-creams here.Heres looking forward to even more diversity in their bread products. The shop (sales point-cum-bakery) is centrally located just opposite the Parra Post Office busstop.
