On August 13, 2019, the 77th martyrdom day of Shaheed Dhanna and Madhav was celebrated.Inspired by the Quit India Movement in 1942, Dhanna and Madhav raised their voices against the British in Mansi.At that time Dhanna was 20 and Madhav was only 14 years old.Khutia and Madhav of Dhanna Mansi block were residents of Bakhtiyarpur village in Western Chicha (Chukti).On 13 August 1942, near the Mansi railway station, he became a martyr after being shot by the British.The saga of such a brave fighter on Khagadia soil will always inspire us.
