Their pineapple cake is very bad. Very dry and too much colour... no flavour at all.

I have been a regular customer of Thomson Bakery for over the last two decades whenever I go to Chengennur or Parumala. Recently I bought their pineapple cake and it was an absolute disaster. The cake was very dry and hard also even though it was only a day old when I purchased it. The overall quality was pathetic; it was such a big disappointment. Looks like they have lost their passion for baking! Their sponge cakes were my weakness all these years but now I guess, it’s time to let go of my desire.

I ordered their chicken biriyani, despite of the -ve reviews.It was tasty and soo much quantity of Rice & Masala in it.Got 2 big pieces of chicken also. They serve the biriyani along with salad and sweet dates pickle.The service and cleanliness was good and they have lot of snack options. Start from chicken puffs to sweet snacks like Ladoo, jalebi, birthday cakes as well. Pricing is a bit over the hood than other stores.

We buy cakes from here, and the chocolate fresh cream cakes are so nice, we keep buying from here everytime. Awesome

Limited menu due to construction works but serving items are really good. Chocolate shake is especially good and had great quality chocolate. The place is well lit have great furniture if posing for a pic. But ventilation isnt that good doesnt have an AC . Overall one of the best Bakers in Chengannur..

Perfect home delivery. I ordered a birthday cake for my father.

Pretty nice place, but mind you, step in and you could easily exhaust your daily pastry budget. Fine for pastry but the cooked food isnt anywhere close to other restaurants, better to visit your friendly restaurant than here.

With best quality confectionery. Good parking space in front and rear, have delivery services. Nicely organised, with good moving space, corona precautionary measures taken.

This is the worst managed outlet compared to all other Thomson outlets I visited..But at the same time at great Chengannur you dont have any better Bakery shop.

Had gone there to get some bakery items.Boost peda was really with flavour. We brought Halwa, milk peda, Jelabi, chota Jelabi which was my kids favourite.There buns are really soft.

Very bad experience I got from Thomson bakers chengannur. I purchased defferent things, in that roasted cashewnut of rs 1300/- per kg. I bought 200 grms wighed before me. In the counter the weight raised to 230 grms adding rs 39 extra with their extra packing. I was helpless before the counter. Gave the money. I will never ever choose Thomson again.

Congested parking area the food served is good. Clean environment . If you are opting it for breakfast may be 2/3 dishes are available .

Thomson Bakers parumala is Good. But Chengannur is huge delay. Have to wait for long time.

Lot if dishes and snacks available here. Also they offer different variety of juices. Good staff with manners. They have got several branches. I usually visit their Kottayam branch to taste the variety of delicious cakes they make. Really a must visit place for food lovers.

They provide quality and top notch items such as pastries, cakes, desserts, chocolates, cookies, biscuits, sweets, snacks and their very own baked breads, buns, rolls, puffs stuffed with veg/non-veg/fruits, sandwiches and burgers.If you plan on dining in or trying out the restaurant, then definitely must try their duck stew and appam, mixed fried rice and Chinese cuisines, fresh juice, cocktails, shakes and smoothies.Friendly staff and service. The ambience is good too.The only drawback is the lack of parking facility and during peak hours dining section is packed.End of the day you won’t regret at all because of the quality and the standard of the items offered.

Bakery cakes and all are good but they ruined my moms 60th birthday cake... very clearly instructed of writing it as Happy birthday amachi as it was from my son... they printed as Amma and my kid was sad. I made them write it as ammachy but he understood and was upset... I reminded them when I ordered and when they called for confirmation but came up as not the one we expected. Giving 3 star only for the previous experiences

Always A Delight...

The store is easily accessible with parking available in front. The food court upstairs is spacious, well designed and wheelchair accessible. The options of packaged food items were less when I went there. Lots of the items were missing. However, the quality of available items was very good.

Place to splurge to satiate the taste buds. Good selection of sweets and other snacks. They have a selection of traditional Kerala snacks which is something unique. Bit pricey but the taste more than compensates for that. Good ambiance and clean interiors.

Oneof the best bakeries in the Chengannur town. There are a lot of baker item choices and the items are really tasty. Fruit juices and ice cream parlour also available. Its a centralised air conditioned shop. The only drawback is the lack of parking space.

Worst biriyani I ever had

I loved eating from there.The Outlook of the bakery was nice and cozy. They had a wide variety of wishes in their menu and the service was ok. We bought a chocolate cake which tasted good and they charged a moderate amount for that.
