Was here for nearly 4 months. One of the oldest yet largest hostels of MIT in terms of occupancy. Farthest from the Academic Blocks. But a pleasure to stay here.

Stayed 3 years. The attached bathroom ones are the best. Non attached could use some clean bathrooms but its almost impossible to maintain them properly and the hostel staff does it pretty well.

Youre going to love this place. The actual hostel life. Nothing more. Nothing less. Absolute fun. Make sure youre with your genuine friends to make the most of it. Cheap, nostalgic, clean and classic. It was one of the most biggest hostel block in Asian continent a couple of years ago.

Rooms feels a furnace. Corridors are a little better. If you enjoy the company of nature i.e. that of lizards, insects, and drug addicted kids, it is the perfect quarantine vacation block for u.

Its a clean and calm and its have own greenary inside, here u can find water filter and yaa, its some far from food court and main MIT campus but look at its backside view its amazing...

Block 10 is the largest Hostel in MIT. Its not only the largest hostel in MAHE, but one the largest in Asia. Its a completly non-AC hostel. They have common bathrooms over here. Its located on the farthest corner from the college.

A humongous block. A bit far from the main academic area, but the rooms are well maintained. Internet connection is through LAN (WiFi is weak).

Its boys hostel of Manipal Institute of Technology and students have full freedom to do whatever they want until and unless they disturb others

Hands down the best hostel block in the whole of Manipal.

Its single room,common bathroom... everthing is good to start with.. nearby you will get mess,n field for sports n all.. its just good.

The ground floor of Mit Block 10 hostel is equipped with 3 indoor gardens, a gym, tv/common rooms, gymnasium, coffee shop and a small general store.

It was a great place where you have gardan in side and you can relax there when you really need to refresh

This block is the farthest from the campus. In summers, the top floors are very hot. Has a night canteen, game rooms and TV rooms.

It was awesome to be there and the rooms were pretty much good.

Huge block make sure you take care of ur things if r planning to stay in this block

PG Student manipal hostel, no lift, no AC rooms. Rooms r very small.

I lived here for 1 year nice place to stay for students and the wardens of the block are not too strict you can punch the biometric and leave at any time and they are also caring. There is a night canteen in the block itself which will be open till night 1 so no need to worry about late night foods and cost is also affordable. Ambulance will right outside of the block if you have any emergency they will take care of it.

Block 10 is a hostel for boys studying at Manipal Institute of Technology. It mostly consists of non-ac rooms with common bathroom shared by students living in the corridor. A lot of effort is taken to keep the washroom area clean but the number of people using is large enough to make it untidy soon enough after cleaning. But the washroom attached room are pretty decent to live in.

The rooms are spacious and depressing. The common bathroom is usually where insects can ambush you. It requires great effort of will and courage to go to the common bathroom

One of the better hostels in MIT thats let down by its house keeping & sanitary and other services. The caretakers are also very lenient on offenders like smokers & drug addicts which may be one of the deal maker/breaker decisions to live here.

Dont let the outside deceive you. Its quite a good place to stay... And the LAN is a welcome addition

Block is huge in size, therefore it has his own pros and cons.

Biggest hostel of Asia

This is been one of the best hostels in MIT, with a nice picturesque view of the nature. Though a bit far off from college. Everything in here was good.

Hostel is a very good place to live your life. This is far better than my old one

Worst hostel everrr

The biggest (hostel) block in MIT, the caretakers are good and lineanant. It also houses a night canteen that comes as a life saver at times. The block is airy, has two gardens inside which are accessible at all times. I would personally advise to take this hostel if youre eating at Annapurna rather than 9th block.

Its far from AB-5 , better to maintain one cycle.rooms maintenance is not so good.

Clean environment and good atmosphere. Spacious and clean rooms. Regular cleaning is available. Has good, working LAN connection. Wi-Fi does not work in some areas.

This is one of old block of MIT and is good. Its boys block and is near to Annapurna. Rooms get little smelly in rainy season though. Wifi connectivity is bad in some corners

Rooms are good but the bathrooms and toiles are not kept clean

Individual stay. Amazingly lenient caretakers, they are chill with most of our vices. A life saver of a night canteen. LAN ports are a blessing if you are planning on moving from either one of 9th 5th or 6th blocks.One thing that isnt a charm is the limited number of rooms with attached bathrooms but then again the common baths are well kept. No AC but that bit is manageable.It is distant from the college but its proximity to Annapurna, basketball court, and the rest of the sports area makes up for it.

The rooms are okay-ish. ION is below average though you have an option of LAN too. The washrooms are not up to the mark at all.

Good hostel considering fee by manipal standards..hostels cost u around 70000 per year along with food....the food quality is not vry good as I write...but it changes depending on the management.

Rooms are quite small as compared to other blocks, but cheaper. Toilet might be a problem bcz its common and some uncultured students dont know how to use the toilet.Talking about night canteen, its the most hopeless place where u will get only tasteless foods ,And yeah Its too far from AB5 😔 walking in sun is the worst experience in manipal.
