Its a great place to visit. Make sure you are well prepared for the 7 km trek to teach to the waterfall. Carry water and food with you as there are no places on the trek to get these things. You can even go in the water but be safe as its risky and dont go beyond the line the locals have made.Car parking is about Rs. 100. Not recommend for biker as they are no options to keep their gear and helmet down and taking them with you will be a stupid thing to do.

Scenic beauty at its best ...If you are travel freak , trek lover , you will enjoy through this jungle trek. This 5 km - 5 km up and down trek .. mudy path , risky jungle trek .. but when you witness the fall you will feel you are in heaven...Important things to be noted :1 . Wear full sleeve clothes , loads of insects are there on the way2 . Wear your most comfortable shoe .3 . The walk is prolonged , carry enough water and ors .4 . Carry some light food5 . Wear cap or hat .6 . Avoid weekend , as weekends are over crowded .Enjoy your trip ☺️🌿

This place is heaven its so amazing its a total 12kms trek it takes around 3 hrs and you also have to cross 3 streams to reach Devkund which are very risky during monsoon. The route to the secluded falls is an enchanting one as it meanders through lush jungles, gushing rivers, tiny hamlets, and mountain valleys. Its a must visit place.

Its a moderate tracking. Around 12 km two-way. Pl. avoid planning on weekend and public holidays. Wear trekking shoes or sport shoes with proper shoe sole as lot of sharp stones on the route. No point in wearing socks as many small rivers and streams to cross. Carry min 2Ltr water and ready to eat things with you.

There is a beautiful waterfall, along with nature-friendly roads, small streams, calm flowing rivers and gushing springs. Amazing waterfall, you need to walk about 2 hours from the trek starting point to reach the falls, only the last 20mins of the trek is tiring since u need to climb an incline apart from that it is walk on plain land. There is ample space to park the vehicle , they charge Rs.100 per car. Also there is a rs.100 charge per head for each person taking the trek which is collected by the local villagers. They however do help in showing the way and also help to cross the stream along the way.Make sure u carry enough water and food because the options are limited and the cost is exorbitant (30 for a bottle of water).Try to avoid weekends as they are really crowded .

Amazing experience. The trail was easy and can be done within two hours. Only last patch is hard for beginners. In rainy season, you can get to see lot of waterfalls. Crossing wooden bridges is fun and delightful. the place itself gets crowded in peak season so better to start your journey early like 5 am.

Its around 100 KM from Central Pune. From base location you need to walk around 3-4 Hrs ( 5-6 KM) .While trekking aslo you will get chance to enjoy beauty of the nature.Clea mountain water that you can drink without filter is the best thing I can say.Actual waterfall is really superb and its worth to put efforts for this.Recommending this place to visit at least once.Things to carry:Water (2-3 Lit)Good condition - Sporty shoesExtra pair of clothes and raincoat ( June- Nov)Some heavy SnacksRecommendations :Visit this place in or with group .Try to avoid solo trip here.visit this place with any Guide if possible.

Its not possible to describe this amazing place in words. You cant get that feel unless you go there and stand in front of this stunning waterfall especially in monsoon. I visited this place in first week of July. It takes 90 to 120 minutes to complete the trek. It is easy (a bit tougher towards the end) and well marked trail but once you reach the waterfall, you will forget all the pain. The image and sound of that water falling from the mountain will forever be imprinted in your memory.

Better start early in the morning. Best time ti visit will be on a rainy day, sunny day will be very exhausting. It is about 2 hours walking, might take a little longer if it is raining or with stops. The waterfall is extremely dangerous though. Advisable to go in the morning, starts getting dark earlier coz of the trees. The trek is steep in between & might get exhausting. Has a lot of flowing water, that needs to be crossed with some difficulty. We had 2 dogs accompanying us all throughout.

About Treak :-This one was my first trekking experience ever, and it was the best experience. Paisa vasul fun. Before i visit here i read some reviews and everyone said it takes 3 hours to complete the trek but its not true. as my first experience i finished this entire Trek just in 1 hour 30 min ( including 3 drinking break 5 min each, 1 photo session break for 15 min). With average walking speed. But yes its true that You need to walk around 7km, & ( first 5.5 /6km is not that hard you just need to walk straight for it, however last 20min trek is hard. Real Mount climbing begins in last 20 min. Please use sport shoes, and shorts/track dont wear jeans or any tight clothes, if u really want to enjoy this trek comfortably. Once you reached the spot u wil find out the meaning of Sukun. This place is exactly like you see in pictures, actually its far better than any pictures, believe it.Water is ultra cool/chilled.However you are not allowed go inside the water. Even if you know the swimming. Its risky inside there. None of the guide will allow you. But there is fine line they have fixed for our enjoyment. So you can enjoy there. Also you can climb Above near temple. View from there would look amazing. ( Take guide with you if case want to visit there.)After monsoon will be the best option to visit here.Extra Information about Cost:-Parking charges : 100 RsGuide charges : 50 RsEntry charges : 200 RsOther Information:-- start your treking in the morning ( 6am-9am) is the best time.-After 10am we faced so much heat there, even in monsoon.-Dont bring kids with you here, its not safe for them,-Ladies must wear track or any sports wear. Desi wear wont work here. It will be troublesome.-People with major back issues, must not visit here.-only one shop is available in middle of the way. And 3 shops available in the parking.-Have some lite breakfast, take little break and then start your journey.-Toilet and changing room available near Parking area.-Dont bring any alcohol or beer with you. Its restricted & unsafe here.-So many slippery ways, must wear sport shoes.

Devkund waterfall is a secluded little place situated deep inside the forests surrounding Bhira dam. There is a hydroelectric power generation unit by Tata power at Bhira. This place was little known to trekkers till recent times and has come into limelight due to the waterfall present deep inside the forest. The trail begins from the open parking area at Bhira. It is a well laid path with direction boards at regular intervals. Unlike common belief, chances of getting lost in the forest are almost nil. In fact, the trail is better laid than a few famous treks in Maharashtra.

It was a really great experience. Quite small trek one has to do to get here. Breathtaking landscapes can be captured here. Name plates are provided on the path to the waterfall. Locals are using walkie-talkies to make sure that everyone have reached there destination by confirming group number.Brief events :1) Once you reach the entry point, pay for the parking (For car Rs.100 as per Sept 2021)2) Buy passes for each member of the group (Rs.50 for each person as per Sept 2021) and they will provide you with a group number.3) Start the trek to the waterfall through entry point and follow the name plates provided if you lose your path.4) At every 500m, locals have established joints that have tea, biscuits, maggi, water, etc. (they do not have Glucon-D)5) At one point theres a small wooden bridge built by locals to cross the stream. You can use the bridge paying Rs.20 per person (as per Sept 2021) and take the Group Ticket so that you can use the bridge while coming back. If you dont want to use the bridge, locals have installed a rope across the stream that can be used to cross the stream.6) After crossing bridge, it will take 20-30min (depends on speed of walking) to reach Devkund Waterfall.7) Enjoy the scene and some water splashing. Some restrictions are there.Total time to reach waterfall : 1hr to 1.15hr (depends on speed of walking)Along with trekking gear do carry 2 liters of water, Glucon-D or Any electrolyte, something sweet to eat.

Beautiful trek atleast in rainy season, dont know about other seasons but hopefully must be good. Waterfall is amazing but the bad news is they wont let you swim there and you can hardly go 15% inside the length of the pool created by it due to deaths in past by some reckless people. Water was super chilled in August end when I visited and greenish blue was the color of the pool. During trek on one side there is a huge pond or lake and mountains on both sides giving it very look covered with green during monsoon. Please wear proper shoes else you would injure yourself, saw many girls stupidly wearing bellies with thin hard bottom and got injured as sharp stones and rocks are there. Trekking shoes with non slippery rubber sole is advisable. Please dont left your plastic waste in nature.Would have given this place 5 star rating, if swimming was allowed! Too crowded btw on weekends and holidays so plan accordingly!
