This mosque was built in 1920 C.E.It was established after disputes arose between muslim newcomers who settled in the Kandak area and the feudal landlord muslims (Talakars)of the bazaar area. The land for the mosque was donated by a Kutchi Memon-Haji Hussain Esa Sait.
