Visited the Restaurant for Evening Snacks. Very tasty Snacks and Coffee. They have Chats too. Then had some photo shoot with kid and parents at their Swimming pool. Lovely scenery and good food.

We booked a standard room and the rooms were very average. The bed linens and blankets were not clean. The curtains, chairs and table had lot of stains. There was no hot water available even after asking for it, the max we could get was a mildly warm water from the taps. The toiletries and towels also looked used. Overall I would not recommend standard room for anyone who is hygiene conscious. Not worth for the price charged. The room service personnel were very polite and professionalBreakfast platter was decent. Food was quite nice. The only thing that made me give 3 stars

The restaurant Mangala is pretty good. Polite and helpful staff, and good variety of cuisines, although on the pricey side as expected (~₹3000 for a family of 4). Service could be a tad quicker.

Although they also serve North Indian, the spices used arent that good. So if you are a north Indian food fan they this place might not suit you. But the ambiance of the place is nice with instrumental music in the background.

It is also reasonable and the location makes it very convenient.The breakfast also is decent. Nice place... They have a good set of restaurants, and a bar attached also. The cuisine is varying, with dishes exclusive to coastal palate, to continental, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The staff are friendly and courteous, the ambience is great, and the fare is reasonable for the great place that it is. On the whole, its truly a good place to go to

They have given a room to senior citizen on the 6th floor. Their lift is out of service and poor them have to use the staircase every now and then. The most sadist behaviour is, the staff service lift works and not the guest lift is out of service. Very bad gesture by the staff at Moti Mahal. While they checked out from the hotel. They were carrying the luggage from 6th floor to the lobby using staircase. I urge the people of mangalore to think once before opting this property for your next stay.

This is not a star hotel. Even you couldn’t lock your room. Room is not even sound proof. You wont get proper sleep. And the cot has bed bugs and is unclean. Don’t get deceived by the look of lobby. I wouldn’t even recommend this go my enemies. The have no right to call them as star hotel and charge 5k for a room. Pathetic it is.

This is very old hotel and not maintained up to the standard. They still charge premium rate where as you can get new hotels with more latest facilities ( like ocean pearl bijai, sai palace) in mangalore which are cheaper comparedto moti mahal. Toilets there are no exhaust fan. Extra bed they have less and if finished you will hear only a word sorry even thay had promised you while booking. I had a very bad experience...On 20th feb 2021...

One of the old hotels which I know from 20years back has been maintained which I presume by timely & periodic renovation .. Preferred a suite rooms which are very spacious with 2 large rooms & are corner rooms of the building.. Master bedroom has a balcony also .. separate area for dressing is also available.. Missing things what I felt was1. TV fixed is badly mismatched wrt area of the room as not visible from other end were sitting furniture r place..2. TV dish / cable is local hence no much option for popular channels3. Size of TV very poor wrt modern hotels4. Master bed room should also have TV5. In room dining lacks some comfort although living room is so longRest assure Veg / MC / Chinese restaurant available. L shaped long swimming pool available. Vallet parking also available.COVID protocol mostly followed

This was our first trip to Mangalore and we are glad to have stayed at Moti Mahal. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was good and I highly recommend having dinner at the Mangala restaurant as they have very good south indian dishes. We loved the room cleanliness and the promptness of the staff. We would have loved to go in t GB e pool as well, but unfortunately we had a busy schedule.

Hi friends, i had a very pleasant stay,m at Moti Mahal on 15th and 18thJuly [for two days], very cozy, comfortable, centrally located with beautiful ambience and courteous staff, reception desk staff were very attentive , agile and they serve with a smile which is assuring, especially Ms Aruneetha and others at front office-reception deck, support staff were equally good, very agile and they address, redress your complaints immediately , their attached restaurant staff were also good, we ordered simple curd rice for flight, they neatly packed it, it was delicious,classy with cherry and tasted damn good and we relished eating on board, Moti mahals morning breakfast staff too at their luxurious aesthetically designed restaurant were very friendly, the breakfast dishes were sumptuous, vert toothsome, it was much more than a customary free breakfast, all at Moti Mahal do their duty with dignity and care, customer satisfaction is their motto and all score a perfect 10 in that aspect ! Moti Mahal stay was a memorable one for self and my better half,, cozy,comfortable still affordable -thanks to service providers like Agoda who gave us competetive rates! Summing upMoti Mohal is a real gem among hotels catering to elite and middle class at Mangalore in a grand manner, keep it up, you are doing well!

Moti Mahal is one of the best Hotels in Mangalore. They have a huge amount of trusted coustmers. The Moti Hotel is quite old. They have amenities like swimming pool, gym, WiFi , full bar, 3 separate restaurants, laundry, dry cleaning services ,and many more. They rooms are very spacious , hygienic and have comfortable seating and good mattresses. The washroom is spick n span. They provide a switch to turn the AC on and off. The whole room consists of a TV, 2 single seater sofas , 2 beds and one washroom. If you opt for a corner room or a suite then the whole suite is like a 1 BHK apartment. They have a hall with proper couch, a centre table, a TV. It also has a double bed, huge cupboard and storage for baggage. The washroom has a bathtub as well. There is a balcony too. To sum it up, if you visit Mangalore and need to place to bunk ,this is the right place with all the amenities one would need.

Excellent experience. Very good staff, very polite and attentively helpful. Its our second visit to Mangalore and stay at Moti Mahal. Food in the hotel is lovely....all three restaurants were good. I enjoyed it thoroughly. However the toilets should have grip handles on the walls for the elderly and toilet seats suitable for obese people. Otherwise it was a memorable beautiful stay at Moti Mahal.

Good place to stay with family.

Thanks to the hotel for providing little early check in. The ammenties such as swimming pool and Gym are very maintained and it is most cost effective... When you use both the above amenities!! It is reasonably priced in budget and breakfast is also decent. I would suggest the hotel to kindly keep some towels near swimming pool and Gym, which could be of great use and help for hotel customers. Food in restraunt in little costly, which could be looked into it. Rest services are also good from Front office to housekeeping staff

It was a nice and cozy experience at the restaurant. Hotel was very nice.Had upma and tea for the breakfast. Very slightly overpriced than the ordinary restaurants but also was very cheap compared to the other restaurants associated with big hotels like Moti Mahal.Very easy to locate.Ample parking area was available.

I got a different kind of experience during my stay this time. I understood the different of treatment for the online booking guest and offline. When I requested for early check in by 1.30hrs at 10.30hrs on 20th Aug 19, refused in a rigid way by the receptionist. In front of other guest they would have said no to me in a nicer way or they would have accommodated by luggage in their concierge. Their body language told me that they are least bothered about the goibibo guest. The people was good when i stayed 3 or 4months ago. Infact, i booked offline that time. And asked for the additional tariff just for 1.30hrs early check in. I was not interested as my client was eager to receive me. The card swiping machines was not receiving signals during check out early in the morning as the cab was waiting to rush to the airport. Couple of discomforts this time.

A last minute booking at this place for one night and it didnt disappoint. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious and the bathroom was adequate.The breakfast options were vast but the food was only average. The kesari bath was the best out of the 8-9 items and the sambar was good as well.The lobby is well decorated and the staff was attentive and courteous and quick.
