This is small but beautiful fall and for me it was main attraction among everything in Mangalore(including beaches).This fall is open and unmanaged/uncommercialised so anyone can go and take bath. Be careful of slippery stones/surface. Also, I spotted one water snake in stored water near fall.

Unexplored place around Mangaluru. Need to walk about half kilometres to reach the destination from the Adyar hill viewpoint.

Its a small seasonal falls where the water fall can be seen during rain season, if you visit this place during summer season then you can find a dried place..From the place of car parking till falls you have to walk for around 10 to 15 minutes to reach the falls.. Its a uneven way steep deep with up and downs.. But the view is very beautiful from the top...Visitors actually spoil the surroundings of the falls by litter it with snacks packets and bottles...Best time to visit is morning or evening to view sunrise and sunset as the view is very mesmerising..Note: please keep the place clean..

I am not sure how this falls will be in the monsoon but in feb (when i had been there) it was not that great as there was no water in the falls. Otherwise the view from the top is mesmerizing and also it takes a short trek to reach the falls which is really good and as there was no water you can easily climb the falls for great pics. The road to the falls was a bit confusing, i recommend you to ask the locals insted of using google maps. And i am sure the falls will be great when there is water in it.

I think its not a falls only a stream, just a time pass place to visit when u have nothing to do, dont plan to visit from far away place.

Quite a nice place to chill in evening cuz rest of the day it might be so sunny, Got a nice view and small waterfall. Coming here during rainy days or season would be better because there might not be water in the fallls

Its a good place for view especially the greenary.The way towards the falls is not really good It may become a problem for some to walk. And also during the summers the water in the falls will be very little.

One of the best places to visit in Mangalore.You’ll reach the falls after around 200m small trek.Very clean water and calm place to chill.You can get down the water since it’s very shallow.

In my opinion this place is a nice and peace full place in mangalore and we can go there at any time. Im from kerala so Im not that much exited about this place but if we are in mangalore we can go there when we need to be alone or peace fully.

Falls is not as expected, due to low rain the water level was less and it is OK not a big waterfall and one can see it once.

This waterfall is deep inside the forest and it is like a small treck to get to the exact spot you will need guidance from people,it is worth going to the waterfalls

When I was on a trip to Mangalore , had heard a lot about this place. Happens to be among the very few places where there are waterfalls. So decided to hike through the terrain which is pretty steep and also happens to cross the main railway line that goes through this place on the hillside. Apparently after reaching on top we find out that this place is dried up and can be seen mainly during the monsoons when there are heavy rainfalls. But this was compensated for the amazing and lovely view on the opposite side of the hill where you could see the sun set behind the mountains with a river to accompany it. The rating is for the falls and not the view.

A perfect place for solo time, evening chills with friends and family... No risk enjoyments..

Good place, children can comfortably take shower under falls, falls is live though not enough of Rain up till today. only problem is far from Road side, one has to walk climbing far. Otherwise good place to visit.

Its kinda a local place. There are 2 small water falls .when you go inside the forest....namely adyar( which is the bigger one)..and velachil.A beautiful view of netravati river can be seen from the velachil view point.One should be able to walk and climb properly since there are are slippery areas.

Natures beauty at its best

There are two places where you can see the waterfall. If you are a hard trek fan, i suggest you go straight up from the railway tracks, or if you just want some fresh air and freshen up in some cold water, you may take a left and follow the tracks for about a 100m and take a right and a small good trek will get you there. Both are equally good falls and can freshen up. Try to time your visit in the afternoons or early mornings when the sun wont eat you up.

Actually good place to visit .with the waterfalls surrounded by tress and plants .But if your going for the 1st time .you cant find it using google map .as it shows somewhere wrong place .and dont go in summer .because there will be no water. Too much of walking and climbing is there to reach till there like trucking .you cannot go by vehicle..Have a nice day over there if your going .and do go after 1 month of rainy season .

Good place to hang out. No wider roads. And its not a waterfalls its a small stream. But its less crowded and you need to climb rocks to find a better spot.

A small water fall . Not recognized easily. There is no proper directions indicated on way. One shld walk through small roads which leads to trek path & to the waterfall. ( less than 30 min from NH73 )Local authorities should make an effort to develop it as a tourist attraction.

I do give a genuine feedback. If you havent seen any water falls then you can go. its like 1 kilometre to walk from the point where you Park the car and you should be physically fit to walk till there. I give 2 stars out of 5.

Amazing place

A good place to visit n to chill ... during the early hours of morning 🌎💓..its too sunny during the mid day ..its very chill at the evening ...this place can be recommend to photo shots at small level n to chill with group n solo.💛

The location given here takes you to a view point. A not so raised platform which overlooks the adyar river. Not spectacular or scenic but just fine. Dont expect any falls and go there, like I did, lol.

Awesome Waterfalls in the mid of dense Forest. The most difficult part is to reach here by foot at a small thin foot route which has many ascent and descent path along with trek and not good.

Good place to visit. There is only little trekking. Go only if u can climb up and no problem with trekking. Its a Small water fall so dont expect too much when u go. Obviously its a nice place to hang out in small groups.

It is a normal water falls located near to Mangalore.It is located around 10km from Mangalore on the way to BC road. We need to walk about 1.5km to reach the place.Shopes are not available. We need to carry food. Best time to visit is rainy season. Walking path is not in good condition.

It was completely fun visiting this place. The way we went has a walk of 5-7mins via a rail track. You cannot find lot many people around. No proper parking area for cars but merely enough. Better to visit after a rainfall. Its little interior so you cannot find any stores , do carry water n food if required.
