Hao Ming was highly recommended to me to for amazing Chinese food and I’m afraid my expectations were a bit too high.The place is more on the dimly lit side but their customer service and hygiene is great.We were quickly seated at a table and the menu card was served promptly though it was a busy weekend.We ordered the Thai Crispy chicken which I think is the star dish of the restaurant and for good reason. The chicken inside was succulent and the coating was perfectly crisp and well seasoned. We also ordered the shin min noodles and shin min rice but both were drowned out in sauces and you couldn’t really taste the chicken or prawn that well.Overall it’s a good place with a good vibe and value for money food.

The passage to the restaurant looks a bit shady but the ambience inside the restaurant is great. Id visit often.

I had ordered food from Hao Ming via Zomato1) Thai Crunchy Chicken: Hao Ming is famous for this particular dish . It’s a must try . Fried chicken coated with fried noodles . 8 pieces in a plate . Serves 2-3 . Would rate it 5/52) Chicken Meifoon : Thin vermicelli noodles . The taste was as expected but I found it extremely oily , could improve on that. It would taste best if accompanied by a gravy . Serves 2 . Rating 3/5

Haoming… an Indo-Chinese which has been present in mangalore for a very long time. Recently renovated,the atmosphere present in the atmosphere is very calm and soothing. The food is delicious….although it is not the same taste which was served years ago but it still remains at the top for the best Chinese cuisine restaurants in mangalore by far using authentic and traditional techniques and for an affordable price. One will always go here and have the craving for crispy tender chicken

Really great Chinese restaurant in Mangalore probably better than any in Karnataka! One must definitely visit this place with family and friends. You must definitely try the shin min rice or noodles and the crispy chicken.

Man. That was some pretty good Chinese i had in a long time. Ordered a sizzling rice chicken soup and a hao Ming special rice. Reasonable price and good quality food.

Meat ball noodles was just bland. Wantons dripped with oil.

Reopened now after renovation. Yet to visit after the change. Personally feel the same dishes taste a bit better at Hao Hao. Also, the option of vegetable fried noodles is surprisingly missing from the menu here. And the main difference between HH and HM, is that pork dishes are available here and off the menu at HaoHao. So if you are inclined to veggies, then go for Hao Hao.

Good food, good service and value for money. Thats all that one can say about Hao Ming. The Shin Min rice and Thai Crunchy Chicken are worth trying. The overall ambience of the place is good. Highly recommend going there with your friends.

Good for your Chinese craving. Serve proper Chinese food. Star of the day for me was definitely the red sweet-chilly chutney served for dumplings. Soup was good too. Chefs special noodles, served in chicken or sea food or simply veg was good too.. ambience is food to hang out with family and friends. You might miss it if you dont exactly know where this place is. But had a good experience.

It is one of the oldest and famous place for Chinese cuisine in Mangaluru, serves all types of Chinese dishes under one roof.We tried Manchow soup, Fried Wontons, Mushroom Chilli and Dragon Noodles.Everything had a very distinct taste and flavor. Unlike other Chinese restaurants, Wontons werent dripping with oil nor the Mushrooms. The special attraction was Dragon noodles! It had pan fried noodles with good amount of vegetables and served with fried noodles. Never seen a restaurant being so generous on adding veggies into their dish.About the place, we had visited the Balmatta road outlet which is their 1st outlet. It has a classic Chinese restaurant ambiance with dim lights, decoratives in red, huge aquarium as a median and staffs dressed in Chinese suits. We would not say it has an appealing atmosphere but we would surely recommend this for Chinese cuisine!Overall it is a good place both for your pocket and your tummy! 😋 #BurpOutLoudly

My favourite chinese restaurant since my college days!!! One of the most combination I loved was Chinmin rice and Thai crunchy chicken. Well maintained. Service is good. Food is awesome. Food is high in quality as well as in quantity. So for the people like me, food is little bit more. For two people we shared single food. Still it was much!!! So before ordering, see how many people can finish it!!!!

Visited this restaurant based on recommendations from friends as this place was apparently an old favourite. The place was crowded and food was certainly good and not too pricey. The aquarium was a minor attraction for the kids. However, note that the exterior is not exactly encouraging as the building looks dilapidated and uninviting. The music was too loud as well. Overall, the place is worth a visit only if you are keen to try good Chinese cuisine around Balmatta and not too fussy about the external appearance of the premise or on second thought, maybe order their food home :)

Had a very high opinion of this place. But today was thoroughly disappointed. The food that was delivered was far from Chinese. Tasted really awful. Has ordered chicken with bean curd but got only bean curd with lots of uncooked tomatoes in it. The Singapore meifoon had just one or two bits of chicken and was badly made.

A very old Mangalore hotel. But quite rundown. Had the chicken manchow soup which was a broth that was quite tasteless. There was spice. But it was quite random. Couldnt taste the chicken at all. Followed by the waiters recommendation of shinmin noodles which is a mix of chicken and prawn, with egg white and noodles in an extremely greasy oily sauce. Served for a portion fit for two. But with food this bad, I dont know who Id bring!The one star for the pricing. And one more for the way the starters looked on other customers plates. Didnt order starters as all of them were 12 or 15 PCs per plate.

We then ordered the speciality for Veg Khwaithayo which is basically flat noodles. It was super tasty with sauce they gave with Chicken. The staff was super nice and helpful so kudos to them
