This place stands out compared to most cafes or bakerys in Mangalore. They are like the Starbucks of the city. The quality of every item served up here is top notch. From the cakes , to the coefee and to the burgers everything is of the top quality. The cakes are baked to perfection. The variety of cakes served here will make sure that you empty your pocket , thats how bad you would wanna try them all. They also serve pizza ,burgers , rolls and other eateries too. My fav cake from here is the coffee cake. The sponge just melts in your mouth. Definitely visit this place specially with your significant other.

Happened to visit this place recently as i heard their cheesecakes are quite famous. I tried some popular items on the menu - honey roasted chicken burger - 8/10, red velvet muffin 10/10, new york cheesecake - 7/10. I see a lot of reviews to must try new york cheesecake but honestly Ive had better cheesecake. I was slightly disappointed but nonetheless overall it was great and yes 10/10 for the ambience, its a great place to chill out.

Have tried their Chocolate Brownies, Red Velvet Cup cake and Banana Cake. All of them were great but brownies is to die for. Such big piece of heaven filled with chocolate melts in your mouth so smoothly 😍Would definitely recommend everyone and say that they have one of the best CAKES in town.Definitely going to try their rest of the items❤️

The two stars is for the sake of ambience(its good), other than that I had no reason for the stars. Personally dont like cheesecakes but after seeing many reviews on the cheesecake, thought I could give it a chance here. Felt more like a layer of powdered milk kinda cheese. No offence .Also,the prices are unreasonable.

If you are looking for a variety in your dessert options I think this is the best place to stop by. I have posted only the cakes and pastries, but there is a variety of savoury dishes as well. New York based Cheesecake are heavenly and are a must try. I liked the carrot cakes as well with the perfect frosting which is spot on. Brownies are worth dying for as the staff knows exactly the temperature to heat it to and they taste delicious. The tea cakes were a bit dry for me. But overall its my favourite place for my cheat day!

Easily one of the most fanciest desert places in town. Quite like the ambiance and the service here. Taste of the desert and the food n drinks available here are pretty good as well, Nothing that stands out as extraordinary. All-in-all a great place.Had ordered a Mojito here but after they billed me for it, they ran out of Mojito. But they were kind enough to quickly replace the order n compensate for it. Good going.

I have been to this bakery twice. Ambience is good. Seats are less in number. Have tried some cake slices. Twice, I got parcels too. Walnut pound and butter pound slices are good. Carrot cake is unique and tasty. Newyork cheese cake is highlight. Mango raspberry is delicious. Mocha cappucino is again yummy. Christmas plum cake is awesome.Downside is they have to keep water in every table. The price is higher.

The best thing about this patisserie is their service and hospitality. We went last night after they had shut shop (well after their closing time) but when we told the server we came from far, he patiently and warmly welcomed us and took us through his recommendations. He gave us their famous chocolate ganache and another pastry that had a chocolate and coffee blend (forgot that ones name).My family liked the pastries but I wished they had better texture and flavour, and also would have liked them more if they were a little less sweet. But the chocolate flake on the pastries was amazing. The presentation is beautiful and tempting.The ambience seemed good too, theres space for many people to sit and enjoy their dessert. But of course, we had to do a takeaway.But Ill once again say, hats off to their server. Were truly grateful for his genuinely warm welcome.

The rates are very reasonable and the quality of the place is commendable.My favourites have been the Nutella cheesecake, new York cheesecake and the brownie explosion cheesecake.The cheesecakes are very good with the right consistency and taste.The recent addition to the menu is chocolate caramel cake which is really yummy with good flavours. There are also eggless pastries available.Every Sunday there are special desserts available for that particular day which include churros too. And fret not, for the people who arent that much into sweets, there are various savoury items too which include pizza, rolls, burger, wraps etc.Overall, A must visit for all the dessert lovers.

Located opposite to Martins restaurant. Away from city crowd. Gives a good ambience. I liked their nuttela pastry a lot. The standard cakes are not that costly but premium ones are costly and it is worth of money. The only bad thing i felt is they close early. And they should increase the seating capacity

Happened to cycle by on a sunny afternoon. Looked inviting and was craving a coffee. The didnt have a huge options of coffees but was recommended a frappe which made with fresh beans and quite basic and nice. Also took away a chicken tikka roll and a cheese cake whose name I dont remember. It was well packed and tasted good . Also the place was not crowded which was a relief and the ambience quite nice and would like to spend. Would visit again.

This bakery may have scrumptious cakes and taste may be great and I don’t contest that. Baking industry is very demanding and one has to prepare to deal with crammed situations with ease. The minute your call is picked up- all you hear is ‘NO’ , CAN’T’ and outright denial of basic services, without even having the basics of customer service. You may have a lot of icing my friend, but you lost the CHERRY ON TOP!

Taste the tiramisu jar or tiramisu cake. the best. but most probably you wont get it whenever you want it, because they get sold out as soon as they arrive :) i had to pre-order them few times when i really was craving for it and to force feed my daughter. i actually have not tasted other things there because i am waiting for a day to get over tiramisu so that i can actually look at their other treats...i am sure they all are as good as tiramisu.

I feel compelled to share my poor experience with Albatros! I finally decided to visit this overtly hyped patisserie in Mangalore. We placed an order for a cold coffee and a Cappuccino, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also asked for a strawberry nut cake; which when we took the first bite of the sponge seemed very stale. My friend asked me to try it with the strawberry compote just to clarify the same and I felt that it was kept out for too long and the compote was giving off a spoilt taste. My friend is a regular at Albatross and has never had such an experience. We conveyed the same to the boys managing the counter and the kitchen! They very coldly took away the cake and said that they would check and get back to us. We waited for around 20 minutes hoping they were taking the time to come up with a solution; inbetween which we did reach out to them but they seemed too busy to pay heed. We were then told in a very arrogant and indifferent manner that it was taste tested and nothing was wrong with the cake when it was clearly rotting! We understand the demands of the business but the least a customer expects is basic customer service ethics! We asked to talk to them again and we found ourselves waiting for another 20 minutes just to be attended to inspite of it not being rush hour. They came across as folk who just wanted us to leave the place; a very off putting attitude! The guy then told us that maybe the cakes been sitting on the counter all day hence the taste!!! We were baffled by the lack of empathy and basic understanding of how to deal with a customer. You need to up your game, Albatross! We left the place and swore to never come come back. We felt thoroughly insulted! It may just be two customers that youve lost but if this attitude isnt fixed it could bring youll crumbling down.

Good choice of pastries and bakes, also they have a good selection of coffee. Nice and quiet bakery, loved the atmosphere.Cost of the items was not a lot, the taste was good, so every penny spent was worth it.Good choices of modernised Indian desserts are available like Gulab jamun cheese cake, jalebi cheesecake etc.Staff is friendly and helpful.There could be slight problem with the parking, as there is not much space available right opposite to it, but there are many spots close by where you can park your vehicles and come.

Perfect place for an evening gossip with your coffee and treats. Have to say they are quite expensive. My favorite here would be the inverted cappuccino, the lava cake and the New York cheesecake.
